THE ELECTRIC SLAYER

The next day, after school, Ethan decided to go and train himself but he didn't know where to train, so he went to an empty road to train his super speed.

When he arrived at the empty road, he looked ahead at the horizon, staring at the long road that seemed to stretch off into the distance as he looked.

Ethan readied himself to run, getting into a starting pose, then he launched himself forward.

At first, he was just running at the speed a normal human would be able to run at, so he pushed himself past his limit, and the more he did, the faster he ran.

Ethan: "I'm doing it!!"

The air flying by his face, at first it felt nice, but as he sped up, the air made his eyes unconsciously blink and tear up, which hindered his eyesight, and as he sped up more, breathing became harder as the air rushed past his nose.

So he stopped and drifted to a stop. He almost fell, but he caught himself, he then tried to catch his breath.

Ethan: "I really should get some kind of mask or helmet…"

So Ethan pondered more and more and decided to run back home, and so he did.

He ran fast but not fast enough to get choked or blinded, and after 30 minutes of rushing past buildings, he finally got to his home.

He surprisingly didn't get tired, and so Ethan went straight to his room and wrote a checklist on his computer, which looked like:

'1-get helmet.

2-get inflammable clothes (reason: friction).

3-get new shoes that are very flexible.

4-train.'Ethan looked at the list once and twice before getting up and writing down ideas of what the helmet and clothes could look like.

he went through hundreds of designs like: latex suits; "too revealing", casual clothes; "too casual for being a hero", leather; "what am I? a biker?", armor; "too heavy, unless the joints are loose, but that's dangerous", spandex; "it's optimal… but no protection, well I guess it's optimal for a speedster so i guess it's good".

Ethan then designed the look of the suit, he went through a lot of them, like a suit where there are thunderbolts on the sides, he didn't like the design, he felt like it was too amateur, but he had no choice but to use it.

So he added a thunderbolt logo(check my profile picture) and made sure that it isn't already taken, and then he also added a biker helmet that covered his face and also looked cool.

So he made the primary color black and the secondary color yellow, and the rest of the color palette was: orange and blue.

But he didn't know how to put the design on the suit, so he looked online but didn't find any shops that could help, so he ordered full-body spandex suit and some cloth paint.

When they arrived, Ethan went to a secluded area in the park, and put down a large cloth that he had made sure his parents didn't want, and began adding the designs to the suit.

when he was done, the suit was almost badly drawn, but it didn't matter since no one would notice the bad drawing as long as he was moving fast or he was far away from everyone.

The next day, he went to school, and the hateful gazes weren't as many as yesterday or before that, but they certainly did go down in number.

Ethan went to class and sat at his desk.

He found Minami there, as expected…

Minami: "Hi Ethan…"

Ethan: "What…?"

Minami: "That's how you treat a girl? wow… didn't know you were THIS pathetic…"

Ethan: "Oh, shut up, if it weren't for me, you would've been dead."

Minami: "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten hurt the day before yesterday."

Ethan: "Fair enough, but how did you get healed up so fast?"

Minami: "All powered people have super healing, not just you."

Ethan: "Oh… huh… wait… ALL?!"

Minami: "Yeah…why?"

Ethan: "Like ALL, as in you know more people who have powers?"

Minami: "Sure, yeah, my friend has too."Ethan nodded and looked away, and as the teacher got into the class and started the lesson, Ethan thought about what he would do to get the helmet he needed.

So he decided to go to a biker store after school to get a cool biker helmet, and so, after school, he went there and got the helmet. He made sure to get a tinted one so that his face would remain hidden.

And then he went home and put it on his desk and wore the suit that he made, and also wore the helmet; he looked like he came out of Tron.

Which in a good way made him cool, so he then went outside, making sure no one noticed him, and so after he reached the street that was just outside his yard, he ran, speeding up and accelerating, 20 kmph, 30 kmph…. his speed went faster and faster, but Ethan began feeling his bones being pressured, which wasn't a good thing at all, so he slowed until stopping.

Then he ran at a safe speed back to his home. Getting ready for the next day, where something unexpected will happen.
