The Devil And The Maid.

Chapter 112: The Black Scar Lords Return.

The mansion buzzed with silent anticipation as sleek black cars pulled into the vast courtyard. One by one, twelve figures stepped out, cloaked in authority and lethal grace — seven men and five women. They were the feared and respected Black Scar Lords, the legendary gang once led by none other than Zayan Kai.

They had returned.

Resia, Sachi, Russo, Xandira, Atreus, Azara, Dabira, Vincenzo, Kian, Valencia, Kaiza, and Eryx. Each of them carried an aura that could silence rooms and start wars. But today, they came not for war — they came home.

Zayan wasn't at the mansion. He had gone out with the boys to get the wedding suits and the rings. It was Alex who welcomed them, calm and composed as always.

"Mr. Zayan isn't home yet," Alex informed them as they stepped in. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. Your luggage has been sent to your guest rooms."

They nodded and entered the grand living room, claiming spots on the plush couches and polished bar stools. The silence didn't last long.

From across the room came a sound — soft giggles, light and melodic.

They turned.

Near a corner, surrounded by a scattered pile of colorful blocks, sat a little girl. Her eyes, dark like the night, gleamed with innocent mischief. Tiny black curls framed her chubby cheeks. She giggled again, gently placing a block without disturbing the boy who lay asleep beside her.

"That's… that's a baby," Azara said, eyes narrowing as she sipped whiskey. "And she looks like Zayan…"

Alex stepped forward. "Those are Mr. Zayan's twins — Lysander and Seraphina. We call her Lilly."

Choke. The sound was collective. Half the gang spat out their drinks.

"WHAT?!" Eryx barked. "Zayan has kids?!"

Alex nodded.

Before he could explain more, the hallway brightened with color — and laughter.

Nora appeared, her arms overflowing with blue roses, a beaming smile on her lips. She moved toward each person with a childlike joy, handing out a rose.

"One for you… and you… and you…" she sang happily.

Even Alex received a bunch. "Here you go!" she said with a giggle before turning and placing two roses beside her twins.

The gang stood frozen. Stunned. Speechless.

Sachi blinked. "Whoa…"

"Who is she?" Russo asked, barely above a whisper.

Alex smiled, gently. "That is Mrs. Nora Zayan Kai — Mr. Kai's wife. And the mother of his twins."

Eryx turned to Valencia, mouth still agape. "Are we hearing this right? Zayan is married? With kids?"

Alex nodded again, sighing. "She had an accident. A very traumatic one. Her memory is gone. She… she's in a childlike state now."

The silence was loud.

Then, chaos.

A sudden cry echoed from upstairs. Alex's face shifted. Nora's voice trembled. "Lysander! He's burning up!"

Zayan arrived right then, storming through the front door, his sharp gaze instantly locking onto the chaos.

"What's going on?" he demanded.

Alex moved fast. "It's Lysander. He has a fever. Nora's been crying nonstop trying to calm him."

Zayan rushed upstairs as Nora sobbed beside the baby, her hands trembling. Lisa tried to soothe her, but it wasn't working.

A pediatrician arrived quickly, checked the baby, and spoke with calm professionalism. "It's a cold. Lower the AC, keep him warm, bathe him gently, and I've administered an injection. He'll be okay in three hours."

Zayan exhaled and crouched beside Nora.

"Love," he said gently, cupping her cheek. "It's just a cold. Our boy is strong, he'll be fine, alright?"

Nora sniffled, wiping her nose, then gave him a teary nod.

And just like that, the storm passed.

Zayan stood and turned toward the gang, his signature smirk in place. "Hello, assholes. Been a while."

"Ah, look — it's the Devil himself," Resia said, striding up to him with a grin. They clasped hands one by one, familiar warmth in their cold hearts.

"I must say," Azara added, swirling her whiskey, "Your wife is gorgeous."

Zayan nodded with quiet pride.

"And the baby girl — she looks exactly like you," Dabira noted.

"I agree," Sachi said.

Zayan then sat and explained everything — Nora's accident, her memory loss, the Bora incident, and everything in between. The gang listened, jaws clenched, eyes dark.

Just then—

"We're backkkkk!!" Meira's voice rang out, followed by a chorus of laughter and shopping bags.

"Oh bloody hell!" she muttered, eyes landing on the gang.

Melanie and Creise followed. "Hi guys!" Sachi called, standing to hug Creise.

"Hello, motherfuckers," Meira added in her usual fierce tone.

"Hi, Dragon Queen," Kaiza teased. Meira gave him a mock glare.

"Zayan, we got the chapel wedding dress. White and silver — exactly how you asked," Meira said proudly.

"Thank you," Zayan said.

"We got outfits for the twins too. A tiny white gown for Seraphina and a navy tux for Lysander," Melanie added.

"What are their names again?" Vincenzo asked.

"Lysander and Seraphina — we call her Lilly," Zayan said, a rare softness in his voice.

After lunch, Lysander stirred awake. Zayan was feeding Seraphina, but she pouted, turning her face away until her brother fed her.

Her soft cries roused Lysander. The baby boy crawled off Nora's lap and wobbled down the stairs — one tiny step at a time — until he reached the dining room.

"Ba-ba… ba-ba," he babbled.

Zayan turned in time to see him, eyes wide in relief. He swept him up into his arms and placed him on a chair.

The gang watched silently as Lysander picked up a spoon and carefully fed his sister. Seraphina giggled, happily eating from her brother's hand.

Xandira whispered, "This is… so cute."

No one said a word — but their hardened hearts softened just a little.

As night fell, preparations for the chapel wedding continued. Asher held the rings. The gang dispersed to help with final touches.

And in the quiet of his study, Zayan sat alone, pen in hand, writing the vows for the woman who had unknowingly brought him back to life.
