Chapter 111: Vows of Fire and Forever.
The hospital walls were quiet again, but inside Zayan's mind, a storm raged.
He stood by the window, eyes locked on the skyline. His heart had been shattered, healed, and cracked again. And yet, one thing remained unshakable: his love for Nora.
She had lost her past—but she still smiled at him, still called him "Z." And that was all he needed to know.
Behind him, Asher leaned against the wall, eyes red, a silent witness to Zayan's brokenness.
Zayan turned to him suddenly. "Ash… I want to marry Nora again."
Asher blinked.
"We already had a court wedding," Zayan continued. "Now I want an open one. A real one. Before the world. Before heaven. Before everything."
Asher slid down to the floor, covering his face.
"Do it," he murmured. "She's yours. But Zayan… please… don't hurt my mother."
Zayan walked to him, kneeling.
"I will never hurt my Nora," he said with quiet fire. "Not now. Not ever."
Asher told the others.
Zayan, with rare gentleness, gathered his sisters. "I'm marrying Nora again."
Meira, holding Lysander, broke into a warm smile. "We can start arrangements immediately. When do you want it, brother?"
Zayan didn't hesitate. "This week. And it will last three weeks."
Behind her, Maverick stood with Seraphina bouncing on his back, blabbering nonstop. The baby's joy was infectious. The family was buzzing.
Everyone agreed: Nora Zayan Kai deserved a wedding the world wouldn't forget.
Back in the hospital, Zayan walked into Nora's room—and nearly fainted.
She was upside down, again.
Her legs were up against the wall, one hand on the floor, the other hand confidently perched on her hip. Her hospital gown fell awkwardly as she balanced in a way that should be impossible.
Zayan's jaw dropped. He blinked. Then called the entire family on video.
Zofia blinked slowly. "Is she upside down?"
"What the hell?!" Asher gasped.
"TF??" Damain muttered.
Melanie and her sisters just stared, too shocked to speak.
"NORA. ZAYAN. KAI!" Zayan thundered.
She opened one eye with a goofy grin. "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh???"
Zayan narrowed his eyes. "What exactly do you think you're doing?"
Nora smiled cheekily, then did a flawless backflip, landing in front of him. "Nora is fl… fl…" She giggled.
"You mean flexible, darling?" Zayan smirked.
She nodded eagerly. "Yes! That one." She clapped her hands like a child who had just learned a new word.
Zayan wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered, "We're getting married again, my love. And this time… everyone will see it. Like Ash's wedding, but bigger. Ours will be the biggest wedding ever."
Nora giggled and kissed his nose. "Yayyyy! Nora is getting married again!"
Lysander clapped his little hands from the crib. Seraphina, resting peacefully in Zofia's arms, blabbered happily.
And Zayan held his Nora close, his heart finally steady.
Back at the mansion, preparations exploded.
They gathered in the meeting room, excited voices rising like music. Not just a wedding—a festival of love, for three entire weeks.
The main wedding theme?
Black, silver, gold, deep wine, and luxury beyond measure.
Frya suggested, "Let's mix indoor and outdoor themes—classy garden ceremony, crystal ballroom receptions!"
"Hair, makeup, bridal shower, everything—Nora must SHINE," she added.
Appointments were booked. Stylists were flown in. And Nora's dress? Still a surprise.
Zayan transferred £6 billion pounds. No one asked questions.
"Too much?" someone whispered.
"It's my wedding," Zayan said simply. "The money is enough."
Issca, the grown and refined man from the orphanage, arrived with the other kids—now confident teens, all dressed in dazzling outfits. They were Nora's children, and this was their family now.
That night, Nora was brought home—sleeping peacefully with the twins cuddled on each side of her. Zayan tucked them in gently.
He stood by the window, the mansion glowing behind him, and whispered:
"She is all mine now… and forever."
A quiet smile tugged at his lips. Zayan Kai—the cold devil, the feared king, the untouchable man—was about to have the wedding of the century, not to impress the world…
…but to prove his heart still belonged to Nora Lilith, and always would.
