The Alpha Soulbound Mate [BL]

Chapter 43: Chapter 44: A difficult decision

After Aiden left his mother and went to his room, he closed the door behind him and walked over to his bed, feeling a mix emotions swirling inside him. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts, his fingers hovering over Kaiden's name before he finally mustered up the courage to call him, he knew his father would have called kaiden or about to call him ,and Aiden knew he needs to hear kaiden's opinion before doing anything.

As the phone rang, Aiden felt his anxiety build up, his heart racing with anticipation. And then, Kaiden's deep, soothing voice came on the other end, "hello, baby. What's up?"

Aiden's composure crumbled as soon as he heard Kaiden's voice. He burst into tears, great sobs racking his body as he struggled to catch his breath. Kaiden's voice grew concerned, "Aidie, what's wrong? What happened?"

Aiden tried to speak, but his words were incoherent, lost in a sea of tears and sobs. Kaiden's calm, gentle tone was the only thing that kept him grounded, and he clung to it like a lifeline, pouring out his emotions to the one person he knew would listen and understand.

Kaiden's voice was calm as he consoled Aiden, "Hey, Aidie, stop crying. It's okay. just tell me what's wrong, okay." Aiden's sobs slowly subsided, and he took a deep breath before speaking.

"My father is trying to send me abroad," Aiden said, his voice shaking. "I don't want to go, Kaiden. I don't want to leave."

Kaiden's tone was gentle as he tried to cajole Aiden. "Aiden, you have to go. I know you don't like the ideal ,but believe me I also don't like it anymore than you do. but what can I do? It's the only way to keep you safe from Alpha Kael."

Aiden's voice cracked as he spoke. "But I'll miss you, Kaiden. I won't be able to see you. I can't live without you."

Kaiden's voice was thick with emotion as if he had been crying himself. "Aiden, I also can't live without you either. I don't want you to go, but I know I have to let you go. It's the only way to keep you safe from Alpha Kael's grasp."

There was a pause, and Kaiden's voice dropped to a whisper. "It hurts me that I can't protect you, Aiden. that I can't protect the one I love more than anything in the world, I feel helpless. But I know that if you stay here, Alpha Kael will kill you. And if you die, I won't be able to live in a world without you."

Kaiden's voice cracked as he spoke. "My heart will break when you leave, but at least I'll know you're okay, that you're alive. Please, Aiden, go to wherever your father wants you to go. Please, for me, for us, just go."

Aiden's voice trembled as he spoke, "Kaiden, I'm scared that If I'm far away from you, I'm afraid you might find someone else and...and dump me."

Kaiden's response was immediate and reassuring. "Aiden, no, no, no. I won't find anybody else. I won't even look at anyone else's face. My heart, body, and soul belong to you, and I will keep them safe until you come back and claim them. You are mine, and I am yours. Forever."

Aiden's fears began to dissipate as Kaiden's words washed over him. Kaiden continued, "I promise you, Aiden, I will find a way for us to communicate, to keep in touch. We will make this work, no matter what. And I want you to know, Aiden, I love you. I will continue loving you until my last breath."

Aiden's face broke into a smile, and his voice was filled with emotion. "I love you too, Kaiden. And I will continue loving you until the end of time."

With a newfound sense of determination, Aiden said, "I'll go and tell my father that I'm ready to go anywhere he wants to send me. I'll do it for us, Kaiden. For our future together."

Kaiden's voice was filled with pride and love. "That's my boy. I'll be waiting for you, always."

Aiden and Kaiden talked for a while longer, reassuring each other and making plans for their future together. As they spoke, Aiden felt the courage he didn't know he has before , knowing that Kaiden would always be there for him.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they said their goodbyes and ended the call. Aiden lay back on his bed, and curled up into a ball, his body shaking with sobs as he let out all the tears he had been holding back.

As he cried, Aiden felt a sense of sadness and loss . He was leaving behind everything he knew and loved, including Kaiden. But he also knew that he had to do this, for his own safety and for their future together. The thought of being apart from Kaiden for so long was almost too much to bear, but Aiden knew he had to be strong, for himself, for Kaiden and for the love they shared.
