The Alpha Soulbound Mate [BL]

Chapter 20: Chapter 21:Wounded

Ryder and Alpha Kael clashed in a flurry of teeth and claws, their bodies locked in a fierce struggle. Ryder's heart pounded in his chest as he fought to hold off the more experienced Alpha Kael.

Despite his best efforts, Ryder found himself on the defensive, struggling to keep Alpha Kael's snapping jaws at bay. He knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer - Alpha Kael was too strong and powerful for him.

But Ryder remembered the words of his father. "A true warrior doesn't just fight with his body," he had said. "He fights with his heart and his mind."

Ryder taking a deep breath, he focus his thoughts and channel his energy. He remembered the love and loyalty he felt for his family, and the determination to protect them at all costs.

With renewed strength and purpose, Ryder landed a powerful blow against Alpha Kael. The two werewolves clashed in a frenzy of teeth and claws.

But Ryder now has a renewed strength, he knew he was no longer just fighting for himself. He was fighting for his family, for his pack, and for the future they all deserved.

And with that realization, Ryder found the strength to overcome Alpha Kael's defenses and land a decisive blow.

Alpha Kael stumbled backward, his eyes widening in shock and pain. Ryder stood over him, his chest heaving with exhaustion, his eyes blazing with triumph.

"You should have stayed out of our territory," Ryder growled, his voice low and dangerous.

Alpha Kael snarled, his eyes flashing with anger and humiliation. "This isn't over," he spat, before turning and fleeing into the trees.

Ryder watched him go, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. He knew that Alpha Kael would be back, and next time, he would be more than ready.

But for now, Ryder had saved his siblings and defended his pack. He had proven himself to be a true warrior, and he had earned the respect and admiration of his family and pack

Running through the dense forest, Aiden and Aurora thought they had escaped the clutches of Alpha Kael and his pack. But they were wrong.

A warrior from the Shadow Claw pack, a burly man with a cruel grin and a bloodshot eyes , emerged from the underbrush, his bulging eyes fixed on the twins. "Well, well, well," he sneered. "What do we have here? The little Silvermist twins, all alone and vulnerable."

Aurora and Aiden exchanged a terrified glance, before turning to run in the opposite direction. But the warrior was too fast, and he quickly gained on them.

Aurora, being the stronger and faster of the two, managed to stay ahead of the warrior. But Aiden was slower, his omega nature making him more vulnerable and weaker than an average werewolves.

The warrior quickly caught up to Aiden, his jaws snapping wildly as he attacked. Aiden tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the warrior's brute strength his claws ripped through Aiden's flesh, tearing through his shoulder and chest. Aiden's body crumpled to the ground, blood gushing out of his wounds.

Aurora, feeling her brother's pain, stumbled and fell to the ground. She groaned in agony, her body wracked with pain. She could feel Aiden's wounds as if it was on her,she instantly knew that her brother had been hurt and she had to get to him.

With a strenuous effort, Aurora dragged herself to her brother's side , her eyes fixed on his prone form. She cried out when she saw him laying on the ground motionless, her heart heavy with fear and worry.

As she reached his side, she saw the extent of his wounds. His shoulder was torn and bloody, his chest ripped open. Aurora's eyes welled up with tears as she realized the gravity of her brother's injuries.

"Aiden, no," she whispered, her voice trembling with fear. "Please, don't die. I need you."

Aiden's eyes flickered open, and he looked up at Aurora with a weak smile. "I'm...sorry, Rory," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "I...should have been faster."

Aurora's eyes overflowed with tears as she realized that Aiden was slipping away. She held him close, her heart heavy with grief and fear.

The shadow claw warrior stood a foot away from them watching in excitement as they both cry out in pain and agony .

As Aurora held Aiden's lifeless body, she felt a wave of dizziness wash over her. She tried to stand up, but her legs wouldn't cooperate. She fell to the ground, her head spinning with a mix of fear, worry, and pain.

Ryker, still reeling from the battle to defend his pack, set out to search for his alpha's children. He had to know that they were safe. As he made his way through the forest, he came across Ryder, who was standing tall , proud, and unharmed.

Ryker's heart swelled with relief as he saw Ryder. "Thank the goddess you're safe," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

Ryder nodded, his chest puffing up with pride. "I held off Alpha Kael" he said with broad smile, "and I told Aurora and Aiden to run and hide. I think they might be in their secret hideout."

Ryker's ears perked up at this. He knew the twins had a secret hideout, but he didn't know where it was located in the forest. Deciding to follow their smell, He set off into the forest with Ryder by his side.

As they stepped into the forest, they were immediately hit with the strong scent of blood. Ryker's eyes met Ryder's, and they both knew that something was terribly wrong. The scent of blood was too strong, too pungent, and it could only mean one thing: the twins were hurt, badly.

Panic set in as Ryker and Ryder quickly followed the scent, their hearts racing with fear. They pushed through the underbrush, their senses on high alert, as they desperately followed the blood scent hoping the twins were unharmed.

As they rounded a bend in the path, they caught sight of the them lying on the ground. Aiden's shoulder was torn open, a deep gash stretching from his shoulder to his chest. Aurora's body was still, her eyes closed as if in sleep.

Ryker's heart felt like it had been ripped from his chest. He let out a loud growl, and Ryder stood frozen beside him, his eyes fixed on his siblings in horror.

Ryker's eyes scanned the area, taking in the scene before him. he saw the Shadow Claw warrior responsible for the twins' current situation, standing a short distance away, a contented smirk on his face.

Ryker felt a wave of rage wash over him. He shifted into his wolf form, his body transforming into a powerful, snarling beast. He launched himself at the Shadow Claw warrior, his jaws snapping wildly.

The warrior tried to defend himself, but Ryker was too powerful. He tore into the warrior's flesh, his claws ripping through his flesh. The warrior let out a blood-curdling scream as Ryker's jaws closed around his throat.

With one final, vicious bite, Ryker ended the warrior's life. He stood over his lifeless body, his chest heaving with exertion, his eyes blazing with fury.

As the warrior lay lifeless on the ground ,Ryker turned his back to the twins. looking at them , his anger give way to grief. He knew he had avenged them, but at what cost? They were still lying lifeless on the ground, their bodies broken and battered.

Ryder's heart felt like it was shattering into a million pieces. He had failed to protect his siblings , and now they were paying the price.

He gently lifted Aiden's body into his arms, cradling him like a child. And Ryker also reached down scooping Aurora up carefully holding her close to his chest.

"Help!" Ryker shouted at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing through the forest. "We need help here!"

As they ran back to the pack house, Ryder could feel the body temperature of Aiden turning cold.He knew that time was of the essence, and that every second counted.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they saw the pack house coming into view. They burst through the door, shouting for help as they laid the twins down on the floor.

The pack healer rushed to the twins' side, her eyes scanning Aiden injuries with a practiced gaze.

"We need to get them to the infirmary, now," she said, her voice firm and urgent. "We must stop Aiden's bleeding and stabilize his injuries."

As the pack's warriors and healers rushed to the twins' aid, Ryker stood back, his eyes fixed on the two young wolves he had sworn to protect.
