Terraria: Shadow of the Last Light

I ran as fast as I could, doing my utmost best to ignore the courpses of all the people in my village although I wanted to at least bury them.

I knew everyone in my village and my eidetic memory really wasn't helping me ignore them, but things like this never bothered me before, but I also knew this is not the right time.

I heard the noises of some angry goblins that have noticed me, they were probably already pursuing me.

Luckiliy I was fast enough to lose them.

I was very close to the breach the goblins made in the wall.

But then...

I saw the courpses of my parents...

They were embracing each other, in a pool of blood.

A few tears ran down my cheeks.

I couldn't let Henry and my parents die in vain.

I needed to live on.

I kept on running towards the hole in the wall.

But before I could have escaped I heard a voice.

"Well, seems there is on survivor left..."

And what looked like a goblin sorcerer was standing on top of the wall.

"I thought I wouldn't need to intervene in this... But it looks to me like they're more incompetent then I thought. So I guess I will simply take care of you myself"

He threw a chaos ball at me.

I swiftly swung my sword to destroy the chaos ball like in the game.

*BOOOOOM!*

And it exploded when it came into contact with my sword, just like in the game, but unlike the game I was sent flying from the explosion.

Luckily it didn't deal any damage.

And despite the speed I launched at, I was able to do a quick backflip and land on my two feet.

"What an interesting weapon you have, it managed to absorb the energy of the explosion..."

I ignored his words and dashed towards the hole.

"But how much energy can it absorb without breaking?"

He started firing a barrage of fireballs at me.

I jumped towards his fireballs to jump off them using my sword.

After a few fireball jumps I got to the top of the wall, I got my bow out and shot an arrow directly to his eye.

At the same moment he hurled one more fireball at me, I quickly switched to my sword and and destroyed the fireball at an angle that propelled me towards the goblin, before I got to the goblin my arrow hit his eye directly and he started screaming in pain, and then my sword pierced his abdomen.

He was screaming with pain and we got knocked to ground because of the force behind the explosion.

I quickly got up and took my sword that was sticking out of his abdomen, and tried to stab him in the head with it using all my strength.

But, he teleported away before the sword reached him.

I looked at the outside and searched for a good place to hide while listening if that goblin sorcerer were to come back or fire another fireball or chaos ball at me.

I found a good place to go to and hide from these goblins in the forest, I just need to figure out how to get to there.

I could try teleporting, but it might be too far for me now... Making a glider will take too long, and there are a lot of archers too...

Fuck it, I need to get out of here, but I need to get down first.

Archers can only shoot so fast and far, jumping is the quickest way down, and I can slow my fall by sticking my sword in the wall and sliding down.

I took a deep breath and jumped, moments after I jumped I took my sword out and stuck it in the wall, the amount of force from the fall made me slide down slow enought to not fall to my death.

When I got close enough to the ground I jumped from the wall and started running towards the nerby forest.

I ran as fast as I could trying to dodge all the arrows and fireballs that were shot at me, one arrow hit me but I didn't let it slow me down, after it hit me, I started using my acrobatic skills to their fullest, I was a true acrobat, I dodged every attack they threw at me.

I then hid in the forest, I knew the forest wouldn't be enough, so I searched for a cave as well to hide in.

After a few minutes of searching and hiding I found a cave that would be suitable for hiding.

So then I hid in the cave and placed some blocks so they couldn't get in and search for me.

Plus I have a pickaxe and some food too, I can some time down in the caves to mine stone, ores, gems, and maybe even find tressure like: chests, pots and heart crystals.

But it does seem like I'll have to be extra careful, because apperantly I'm in Legendary mode and hardcore mode, meaning all the monsters are so much more powerful and I only have one life.

I think I'll stay in this cave for a few hours, maybe even days or weeks.
