Behind them, the Rock Horned Dragon Rhinoceros caught Ken Aishi's twisted face in its peripheral vision. It hefted the Snow Crystal Giant Tortoise like a massive boulder and brought it crashing down.
"Boom!"
Blood splattered everywhere as Ken Aishi's body was slammed into the ground. With a roar, the Rock Horned Dragon Rhinoceros unleashed a shockwave from its fist, piercing through the Snow Crystal Giant Tortoise and the nearly lifeless Ken Aishi.
A faint white smoke drifted from the round hole in the tortoise's hard shell.
The Rock Horned Dragon Rhinoceros cracked its knuckles without a backward glance, its thick tail swaying as it followed in the direction Blaze Regret had gone.
The forest edge returned to silence, with only the lingering thin mist of blood hinting at the ferocity of the recent battle.
