Chapter 252
After a brief moment of contemplation, Jack Mana nodded firmly. As long as he could become a spirit Lord master, the future of Bloodstone Pass would be controlled by the Jack family and the Blood seal Sect. Perhaps even the Blood seal Sect could...
Thinking of such a scenario, Jack Mana's eyes flashed with excitement, and his resentment towards Blaze Regret for breaking Jack Nan's legs diminished significantly.
"In that case, Master Jack, please wait a moment."
With a light laugh, Blaze Regret flicked his black robe and sat cross legged. A pill cauldron appeared in front of him, and a light yellow flame suddenly flared up from it.
The brilliantly shining Aurora Grass was casually tossed into the cauldron by Blaze Regret, and after a short while, an Polar Day Pill was refined. The calm and effortless manner in which he worked left Jack Mana in awe.
"A third grade alchemist!" Jack Mana murmured softly.
A second grade alchemist clearly couldn't produce an Polar Day Pill so quickly, and even if they could, there would be a significant failure rate. Yet in Blaze Regret's hands, it was as easy as eating or drinking.
The only explanation was that this young man's alchemy skills had surpassed the second grade level.
Watching Blaze Regret place the Polar Day Pills on the ground one by one, Jack Mana felt a cold sweat break out on his back. Even though this young man's strength might not be high, his superior alchemy skills would make even the Blood seal Sect lower themselves to curry favor with him.
If it had been the Blood seal Sect instead of him, the Jack family might have been drenched in blood by now.
"Nan'er, Nan'er, do you realize you almost brought disaster upon the Jack family?" Jack Mana thought, his throat dry, as he silently vowed never to let Jack Nan step outside the family estate again.
"Master Jack, the method to use the Polar Day Pills is very simple. Just crush them and sprinkle them evenly into the Hundred Spirit Pool."
A quarter of an hour later, Blaze Regret stood up, brushed the dust off his black robe, and handed all ten Polar Day Pills to Jack Mana with a smile.
"Rest assured, young friend. The Snow family won't set foot in my Jack family again!" Jack Mana accepted the pills, repeatedly assuring him.
"Roar!"
Suddenly, Red, who was curled up on the ground, twitched its small ears, its serious gaze fixed on the distance. There, a figure, her clothes stained with blood, was fleeing in panic, with several laughing men in pursuit.
"Blaze Qistina!"
Seeing that figure, Blaze Regret was momentarily stunned, and then an unmistakable surge of furious killing intent erupted on his face.
On the desolate rocky ground, Blaze Qistina used all her strength to run quickly. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the young men pursuing her, and a trace of despair surged on her pretty face.
"Hehe, stop running. Come back with us obediently, and you might suffer a little less," one of the young men laughed wildly, looking at Blaze Qistina's back.
"In your dreams!" Blaze Qistina shouted angrily without a second thought, which only resulted in more mocking laughter.
"Brothers, since this little girl doesn't know what's good for her, we'll have to use force. But be careful, she's someone the young master specifically asked for, so don't hurt her!" The leading young man turned his head and laughed, though his smile carried a hint of ambiguity.
"Whoosh!"
As soon as the young man finished speaking, six thick, sharp wooden stakes whistled through the air, piercing the sky and instantly trapping Blaze Qistina's forward moving body inside.
Seeing the sudden shadows descending before her, Blaze Qistina's face changed, and she quickly stopped, her gaze shifting to the few people walking toward her with sinister smiles, her face turning pale.
"Why don't you listen when we speak nicely?" The leading young man smiled as he scrutinized Blaze Qistina, his hand brushing his waist, revealing a sturdy long rope in his palm.
Seeing this, Blaze Qistina's eyes turned red. She knew very well the tragic fate that awaited her if she fell into their hands. Tears welled up in her eyes.
"Don't cry. Our young master will treat you well."
The leading young man spread his hands in feigned helplessness. Suddenly, his gaze caught sight of a black robed youth walking over slowly, and his voice turned extremely unfriendly: "Kid, can't you see I'm busy here? If you don't want to die, you'd better get lost!"

Looking at the helpless Blaze Qistina through the gaps between the stakes, Blaze Regret suddenly felt a pang of heartache. Clenching his fist, an ice blade appeared and, with a swishing sound, sliced through one of the thick wooden stakes.
"Cousin?" Blaze Qistina was slightly dazed upon seeing the sudden figure. Was she hallucinating?
Blaze Regret didn't speak. Instead, he pursed his lips and lifted his foot, kicking all the surrounding wooden stakes away with a thud.
"Are you okay?" Blaze Regret turned his head, revealing a gentle smile.
Blinking, Blaze Qistina finally realized that the black robed youth in front of her was indeed her cousin, Blaze Regret. Though they hadn't seen each other for over a year, his face now bore more determination and composure.
"Kid, if you're going to play the hero, you better know your limits. Do you have any idea who you're offending?" the young man said ominously, staring at Blaze Regret.
"I only know that you are dead men," Blaze Regret replied coldly. A pale yellow shadow suddenly darted from afar, flashing through the scene like lightning, as blood spurted into the air.
"You..." The young man clutched his throat, staring incredulously at Blaze Regret. Moments later, he collapsed to the ground, unable to hold on.
"Swish!"
Stopping by Blaze Regret's leg, Red wagged its three pale yellow tail, looking at Blaze Qistina with a mischievous grin.
