Chapter 4: Strongest Gacha God ch4 First roll pt4.
There was nothing.
He had lost track...no he had outrunned the lizard and now all that remained behind him were he rough footsteps and grains of sand being brushed away by the cold evening winds.
"Phew... I made it."
He was still afraid but it wasn't like he was going anywhere soon so he allowed himself to relax for a few seconds.
Looking up at the starry skies one's again, he saw a golden streak of light flashed quickly across the skies.
"I won an SSR!" He smiled raising his now battered phone.
[Ding...]
A soft sound clicked in his mind but he didn't panic.
[You have gazed upon a star of fortune.]
"And..."
[System unlocked.... Initializing.... Initializing.]
[Welcome host to the Gacha System]
"Stats."
He didn't brother questioning anything. He expected it would happen and right now survival was a must.
So what ever means that would be provided he will take but...
"Why did it have to be gacha thou?"
He had lost enough rates on banner to know he was probably going to be scammed by whomever gave him the System.
[The system was moulded after you last thought.]
"So If I thought of a vampire."
[Yes host, a vampire system would have been attained.]
"Noted."
Turns out this one was on him.
"Eitherway enough fooling around. Gimme Stats."
Immediately after he commanded a long list of information housed on a transparent blue screen popped up before him.
Name: Felix Taylor.
Age:17
Potential: Undecided.
Core rank:F
Class: Warrior.
Physique:none
Skills:none
Inventory: empty.
[Banner system]
Beginner.
Intermediate. (Locked)
Advanced. (Locked)
Ultra. (Locked)
Banner points:30.
[You destiny have been divinated to be grandeur.]
[Mother Goddess has blessed you with 30 banner points to begin you legend.]
"An investment." He smirked understanding the intention of his benefactor.
"What are banner points used for?"
[A total of four banner are presented to the user. Banner points are used to roll on said banners.]
"Do the banners have a pity system?"
A pity system was basically how many roll it took to obtain a wanted character or item in a gacha. In [Aurora Grandeur] it ranged from 300 to 700, shattering the dream of all those unprepared and reliant on luck.
[There is a pity System but it is not shared across the four banner and banner ranks.]
He expected this so he couldn't complain.
"What is the pity number then?"
[The pity number is 100. Where what you roll at number is certain to be one rank higher than the banner pulled on.]
Gaining enough strength to stand up, he began to walk.
"The banner ranks I'm guessing are the beginner, Intermediate,Advanced and Ultra."
[Precisely as you grow in strength they will also rank up. Allowing you to roll for more incredible prizes.]
Now more literate about how his system works he clicked on beginner banner sending four colorful options at him.
[Beginner banner]
[Special event void series available]
[Void series weapons banner]
The first banner showcase dozens of dark weapons each frightening and equally beautiful.
[For every ten pulls done a void weapon is bestowed to the user. On the 100 pull a weapon of the Intermediate rank is obtained resetting the banner's pity.]
[Counter:0/100]
"I will need a weapon to survive so no harm in pulling this banner."
As he spoke his finger tip brushed against the pull button, followed by a notification.
[Due to beginner privileges the first fourty pull done across banners will cost 80% their original price.]
"Noice." He smirked.
[Do you wish to spend 8 banner points on the beginner weapon banner.]
[Y/N]
Without hesitation he clicked yes and he was transported to a serene world filled with nothing but water and the skies above.
The skies was filled with stars of different colours. Red, golden, white and even pure black. They all sparkled engertically.
[Pulling session in progress.]
The serene world of water and sky hummed softly as the skies cracked revealing a hole of pure darkness that unleashed a frightening purple star down on him.
Crashing into him in a matter of second Felix's eyes widened in awe when he wasn't crashed or burnt but rather his body absorbed the light, followed by a prompt.
[10x pull registered.]
[Hunter's catapult and void pouch received.]
[Steel sword×5]
[Battered dagger×3]
As his pull was revealed more and more pop-ups bloated his sights but he ignored most of them and settled for the most unquie items he had gained.
[Hunter's catapult.]
With a mere thought a wooden y-shaped catapult manifested into his arms. A brown lengthy rubberband was fastened to the two branches that made up the Y and at the center were the rubberband meet was a leather pad were projectiles would be placed in for aiming.
"Soft and smooth."
Feeling the texture and surface of the catapult he couldn't help but exclaim.
[Details: Made from the mana filled branches in the elven forest of Alfheim, it's mana enhancement properties are second to none.]
[Passive: Increase accuracy when infused with mana.]
"Void pouch!"
Streching out his other palm he called out the next item that caught his interest.
A dark small sack knitted from the finest of silk materialized and fell into his palms.
[Detail:Born from the hands of a kind elf and blessed by the magic of a travelling witch. By destiny it was passed onto the hands of a famous beast hunter whom paired it with his catapult.]
[Passive: While most of it's original properties has been stripped. It hold an unlimited about of pebbles. If said pebble are loaded into it's other pair, all hits landed are considered lethal strikes.]
"Woah!"
Actually impressived by the passives of both items, he couldn't help but muttered.
He doubted pebbles would do much in the endgame but fortunately for him, he knew he was in the progloue and as long as the world played fair, the catapult and it's pouch wouldn't be useless anytime soon.
"Now for the next banner."
With a wave of a hand most of the prompt with the exception of the banners disappeared.
Now focused, he stared at the next banner name.
[Beginner skill banner.]
[Elemental season]
