Chapter 3: Strongest Gacha God ch3 First roll pt3.
A lizard of impressive size stood infornt of Felix, it's slitted yellow eyes reflecting him shifting into a predatorary gaze.
"....."
Felix looking down at the creature that almost blended in the darkness, gulped, his face growing pale.
Right there on the desert sand and under the moonlight, a stand off began.
An ordinary teenager whom had only stepped out into the sun twice during his summer break and a reptile that would make a salt water crocodile looked like a baby.
A powerful wind blown, spraying dust at the two combatants and just as it cleared Felix turned tail and began ranning with all his might.
The creature lunged at him from behind, rapidly stomping the ground with the weight of a natural disaster.
It's movement swift and too fluid was a thing of a nightmare and Felix pushing his arms and legs up and down fled like a madman with tears in his eyes as he heard the stomping grow closer and closer.
"Ahhhhh!"
He screamed and wailed up the desert hill, scattering sand in his wake.
Right when he reached the apex, he felt a brush of death, an indescribable heat coming from his back and out of pure instincts jumped foward.
The jaws of the giant lizard snapped foward missing him by a hair as he went tumbling foward, bouncing and rolling across the sand before pushing himself up only to find a set of razor sharp claws descending on him.
"Ha..."
Startled while still in the ground, he pushed his body back causing it to fall right as the claws sweeped pass him.
Then allowing himself to row missed being stomped.
"Ahahahh..."
Rolling down the slope he had just climbed, he screeched in anguish and was launched into the air by the force that carried him down.
Flaring his arms about, he vision warped around and around till he crashed back into the ground causing an eruption of sand to be lifted upon his descent.
When it subsided Felix completely drained laid admist a puddle of grains sand that covered his body whole.
The lizard having taken note of his location near the edge of the hill began skidding down to continue it's hunt.
Felix on the other hand was completely drained. His expression was unhealthy and sorry and his limbs laid spread apart in exhaustion.
His eyes a shimmering green watched one of the stars.
"I'm going to die." He thought, his mind growing blank for a moment.
He had came to another world and meet something he couldn't fight against.
No weapons to enhance his combat abilities nor allies to support him.
He was alone and alone he would be one's he was killed....eat by the hungry lizard that itch closer by the second.
Drop–!
A shadow engulf his face as drool from the lizard's mouth hovering right above his head fell on his face and stream down his cheeks like tears.
"No cheat just pure darksouls." He whispered, the lizard's head arching back and angling it's jaws right on his face.
Fear gripped his heart and his palms unconscious sunk into the sand that covered him.
Widening it's maw's it mouth grew closer believing it's prey was trapped.
Felix carefully keeping track of the seconds found his breath hitched but his left hand moving.
And just as the Lizard was about to devour him, he swiftly moved, scrapping sand with his left hand and tossing it straight into the lizard's eyes.
It's body twisted in discomfort only for a brutal trauma to smash into it's face and knocking it back.
That thing about not having any weapons it was a lie depending on what was classified as a weapon.
For instance the solid surface of a phone when swung hard enough could do some damage and the lizard had suffered the full weight of his anger.
Scarficeing his phone in exchange for landing a blunt attack on the lizard, he pushed himself out the sand causing it to spill on the lizard whom was still recovering from his blow.
Without a second delay, he took off in a frantic sprint not even daring to look back.
Abusing the effects of the aderline coursing within his veins, he ranned and ranned traversing the skewered terrains made more difficult by the unstable sand.
His breath was ragged, blood rapidly pumping out his hearts and hot sweat drenching his skin and clothing.
Forget madness, he ranned like the dinosaurs did during the coming of the meteor but he did not wanted to suffer their demise.
"Don't look back.... don't look back."
For a moment he was tempted to glance behind him just to know the gap between him and the lizard but fear continuously wrapped a chain around him.
He wanted to be delusional. He wanted to believe he would make it alive so he didn't want to face a possibility that would crash his dreams.
He didn't want reality to sink in.
That simple desire coupled with the continuous pumping of aderline through his veins gave him a momentarily burst of strength and energy that keeps him ranning for thirty minutes non-stop.
For half an hour he ranned but the desert was left unchanging.
Sceneries of piles and himps of sand surrounded him, eternally proclaiming his demise.
Tears began willing under his eyes and a scene of his death flashed in his life.
Like all humans being he was scared of death.
The pain and the effects of the unknown.
Strangely he had already died one's but that didn't mean he wanted another experience.
"Oh...no!"
Like a candle under an intense wind all his energy suddenly evaporated leaving his knees to collapse, taking his whole body along.
"Nononono!"
Continuously bubbling like a defected machine he struggle to get up, his body unwilling to respond.
And when the reality of his situation sunk. His complexation paled causing him to jerk his head to the side with the littlest of energy that he had.
As he did what he saw was much more than he expected.
