Strongest Gacha God.

Chapter 16: Strongest Gacha God ch16 The act of killing.

As Diesel prepared to be devoured by the serpent, she felt surprisedly at peace.

There was no regret or remiscaning.

Her life didn't flash before her eyes she merely closed her fist burning with her mana and clenched it tightly.

She was no longer in tune with the world and had entered a trance were she had even been deviod of color.

Pulling back her right fist, she stomped the ground and clenched her teeth.

Time seem to came to a halt but that was her perception in truth all her senses had been maxed out allowing her to process information much faster.

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

Pushing her fist foward with an undying scream and attempted one finally stand even if she knew she wouldn't make it and yet her fist never made contact with her target.

Not because the serpent dodged her desperate blow but because it's form shattered leaving her fist to phase through it and unleashed all her accumulated power into a beam of dark light that was launched up into the air, parting the veil cloud to reveal the sunlight.

Bathed in it's rays, she collapsed on her kneels, her arms dangling beside her while she stared in awe at the hole in the Necromancer's head.

His face had an arrogant smirk frozen and never to be changed.

"How?" She wondered while the Necromancer's corpse fell to the ground before her.

As it did the sight of a young boy with platinum blonde hair was revealed.

His stop beside the corpse, his face flushed in anxiety and worry.

His eyes a charming green flickered with a sense of guilt while he placed down the catapult he held.

"You.."

Noticing her gaze, Felix expression warmed up a bit followed by him walking over the corpse to lend her a hand.

"You... Why didn't you ran?"

Her voice was tensed and filled with frustrating at Felix's behaviour.

"You wouldn't believe me if say it. So just ignore it."

Streching his hands towards her, he smiled.

"You're all save and that's what matters!"

Diesel grasped, so shocked to even refute his gesture.

Before she knew it, she had grabbed his palms and he tried pulling her up.

He failed at first but that didn't discourage him as he followed with two hand only to fail again.

He wanted to scream about how humiliated he was but out of self respect he didn't.

Diesel on the otherhand undisturbed by the continuous tugging of his outstreched arm wondered what the boy's true intention were.

"Boss.."

"Dis..."

"Diseal."

Marcus and Dorothy approached, Evelyn whom had her left hand twisted held in Marcus's arms.

She was squirming in pain but ones Diesel came into view, she regained some of her composure and muttered out her name.

"Dorothy can you heal her."

Dorothy clutching her body in discomfort shook her head, the black cat on her shoulder leaping of her and landing on Felix's head.

The trio two preoccupied to take notice of him, finally gained his attention, altering their gaze between him and the dead Necromancer.

"You, did you kill him?" Marcus questioned, his face blank.

"I hid and sinped him." Felix responded, the memories of his first kill still hunting.

"I thought you were a Swordman?" Dorothy her eyes on Fortune followed suit.

" I just happen to use a sword but no I'm not one."

" You came back." Evelyn said her expression complicated.

They all didn't know how to react. They had paved a way for him to escape in hopes of him not getting involved with the mess they were in and yet he ended up returning and worst saving them.

Should they thank him or scorned him.

"Leaving the kid out of equation, Evelyn where did you put the package?"

Finally after what seemed like an eternity, Diesel allowed Felix to pull her up before following by presenting the wounded assassin a question of great interest.

"..ah.. original I thought we wouldn't make it. So I hid it within the kid's pocket."

All attention were focused on Felix again.

" Sigh."

Placing his hands within his trousers, he retrived what seemed to an obsidian blade shard with a violet outline.

Before he could even marvel at it's beautiful, Diesel snatched it from him.

" You're really were out lucky charm."

While Diesel hid the item, Marcus approached and placed his arms around his neck like he was his best bud.

" That was more of the work of a the cat."

"Now that you're drawn my attention to it, what exactly is this cat?"

Poking at Fortune whom growled and scratch him, Marcus said full of curiosity.

" When I woke up, it was around me. It seems to bring me good luck, which was also how I found you guys so kept it around."

" Well I owe your cat a thanks for saving miss damsel over there." Marcus grinned poking fun at Dorothy.

Following his gaze, he glared at Dorothy, whom nodded at him in approval.

She seem to what to say something but the presences of the others made it hard for her to speak so she redrew to bid her time.

"The necromancer whom sent him?"

Parting with Felix, Marcus neared the corpse of their assaulter and squatted down. He then ranned his hands through their cloak searching for something.

"Ewh..." Dorothy winced in disgust, her actions imitated by Felix whom gulped trying to prevent himself from throwing up.

"Shut it. I don't like it either." Marcus snapped, glaring at them both in irritation.

While he search, Evelyn whom had gotten of him a while back, strolled next to Diesel.

"You broke through!" She muttered sensing a increase in Diesel's mana.

"You really are a prodigy." She grinned but not one of joy, merely cold laughter.

"Evie I..."

"I found something!"

Before her words could come out, Marcus interrupted pulling out a dark crystal from within the corpse pocket.

" A transmission cystral!" Evelyn muttered.

" Aren't those things outdated." Dorothy commented only for Marcus to began a lecture.

"With the existence of phone maybe but for full covert mission or for fugitives they are god sent especially because their signal can't been tracked but even among all the cystral I've seen over the years, this colour is only unquie to one organization."

"Pantheon!"Evelyn chimmed in, a dead silence following suit.
