Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

Chapter 188: Chapter 188: T5 Paladin-Class Stellar Annihilation Battleship

As Feng Mo predicted, just an hour after he uploaded the battle footage, the Frostmark Fleet, one of the three fleets of the Moonfrost Empire, appeared stationed at Snow Eagle's main planet. This fleet, having recently engaged in a battle with the Interstellar Human Federation Fleet, was severely worn down, with many of its ships in dire need of repairs—conveniently now funded by Snow Eagle Empire.

One day after the video upload, Hua Qin and Silia successfully seized control of the U1 System, encountering little resistance as the fleet's arrival led the locals to surrender en masse.

Three days after uploading the footage, Feng Mo's forces had secured the entire U-series system. The Spark System's task panel registered progress—a temporary mission was completed.

[Temporary Mission: Occupy Systems U1, U2, U4, and U5 (Completed) | Reward: 10,000 points, T5 Paladin-Class Stellar Annihilation Battleship]

[Temporary Mission: Defeat the Snow Eagle Fleet (Completed) | Reward: 5,000 points, T5 Pegasus-Class Interstellar Missile Ship]

Feng Mo claimed the rewards.

[Rewards successfully claimed: 15,000 points, T5 Paladin-Class Stellar Annihilation Battleship, T5 Pegasus-Class Interstellar Missile Ship.]

These two ships, both classified as special warships, were exceedingly costly. Among standard warships, battleships and interstellar carriers were the priciest, but each of these ships far surpassed even battleship costs by double.

Especially the Stellar Annihilation Battleship—its cost was nearly triple that of the Storm God. However, its performance far exceeded both the Storm God and the Orca. Details for the two warships are as follows:

T5 Paladin-Class Stellar Annihilation Battleship:

Armor Strength: 3000 units

Ship Dimensions: 7.9 km × 1.5 km × 1.3 km

Speed: 450 stellar knots

Warp Drive: Level 5

Stellar Shield Energy: Level 5, 100%

Armament: T5 Cluster Annihilation Cannons ×4, T5 Neutron Pulse Cannons ×12, T5 Antimatter Energy Cannons ×24, T5 Close-Range Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons ×200

T5 Pegasus-Class Interstellar Missile Ship:

Armor Strength: 2200 units

Ship Dimensions: 6 km × 1.3 km × 1 km

Speed: 430 stellar knots

Warp Drive: Level 5

Stellar Shield Energy: Level 5, 100%

Armament: 2000-unit missile launch bays, carrying 10,000 T5-class interstellar missiles at full load

Of the two, the Paladin-Class Annihilation Battleship represents the pinnacle of starship engineering. Its size, armaments, speed, and armor strength vastly surpass those of the Storm God, making it a colossal force in interstellar warfare. As its name suggests, it can destroy stars and even devastate entire inhabited planets in a single strike. If this ship had been present during the battle with the Snow Eagle Fleet, a single volley would have obliterated the flagship and cleared the surrounding ships.

The missile ship, on the other hand, is undoubtedly the ace of special starships. Its only downsides are cost and a tendency to explode when overloaded. Each volley can launch 2000 T5 interstellar missiles. With a fleet of ten of these, Snow Eagle Fleet—or even the entire Western Sector—could be leveled in a single barrage. However, the entire Federation only possesses five such ships. A small kingdom like the Storm Kingdom could never muster ten; it lacks sufficient territory and resources.

The schematics for these two warships were promptly delivered to the storage bay by Ai Er, with Alisa personally overseeing their construction—one T5 Paladin-Class Annihilation Battleship and two T5 Pegasus-Class Interstellar Missile Ships.

In addition to these starships, Feng Mo received a points reward of 15,000, bringing his total to 22,660. This amount allowed him to exchange for two more T5-class ship designs, perfect for his plans to expand and consolidate the fleet over the next year.

Currently, the regular fleet lacked a T5-class destroyer, so Feng Mo spent 10,000 points on the T5 Wolf King-Class Interstellar Destroyer. Given the need for extensive supplies during upcoming large-scale operations, he also required a resupply ship. Feng Mo reviewed all T5-class interstellar supply ships and selected the T5 Gulf-Class Interstellar Supply Ship. Specifications for both ships are as follows:

T5 Wolf King-Class Interstellar Destroyer:

Armor Strength: 2200 units

Ship Dimensions: 3 km × 560 m × 489 m

Speed: 450 stellar knots

Warp Drive: Level 5

Stellar Shield Energy: Level 5, 100%

Armament: T5 Annihilation Cannon ×1, T5 Neutron Cannons ×4, T5 Shock Missiles, T5 Proton Torpedoes, T5 Close-Range Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons ×120

T5 Gulf-Class Interstellar Supply Ship:

Armor Strength: 2000 units

Ship Dimensions: 8 km × 2 km × 1.6 km

Speed: 400 stellar knots

Warp Drive: Level 5

Stellar Shield Energy: Level 5, 100%

Armament: T5 Close-Range Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons ×200

These two ships are each approximately 5% superior in performance compared to similar models across major empires. Feng Mo was quite pleased with his carefully selected treasures. However, neither offered the same thrill as the Paladin Annihilation Battleship or the Pegasus Missile Ship. Once you've seen the best, the rest seems lackluster.

He handed these two schematics to Alisa, instructing her to produce ten of the Wolf King-Class Destroyers and ten of the Gulf-Class Supply Ships.

Feng Mo was certain that the coming year would keep Alisa fully occupied. After finalizing these exchanges, he turned his attention to integrating the new star systems. His studies revealed that the area now occupied by the Interstellar Human Federation once consisted of two star regions. After the Federation was established, it divided into seventeen great empires, and the original names of the regions were gradually forgotten.

With the numerous systems now under his control—ten in total—it made more sense to organize them by star region.

Combining the Starwind System, Celestial Crystal System, Beast Roar System, Hurricane System, Storm System, Gale System (U3), Coldwind System (U1), Wildwind System (U2), Faithwind System (U4), and Sacredwind System (U5), Feng Mo consolidated them into the Storm Region, with the Storm System as the main system and Storm Star as its capital. This Storm Region would also serve as the Storm Kingdom's primary region.

Thus, there was a hierarchy from main star to system, region, and kingdom. Though it seemed complex at first, it was a necessary framework to prevent disorder as they occupied more systems—a process they would grow accustomed to over time.

After the star system consolidation, the next task was fleet reorganization. With one region and ten systems under the Storm Kingdom, stationing a fleet in every system was too costly, and the financial burden would be immense.

However, since five main fleets had already been established, Feng Mo decided to retain them. Each fleet would now cover two systems instead of one.
