Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Leaving Coruscant (1)
Jayden spent the day exchanging knowledge with other younglings for the day.
After his new master had checked his skills, she let him have the rest of the day to say goodbye to his friends, and that's exactly what he did.
Though Ayla didn't say that they would be leaving the Capital, Jayden had a feeling that his master and he would be leaving soon, but when would that be? He has no idea.
So, he decided to spend the evening with other younglings. Luckily, that was yet to be restricted, as the Order still only saw him as a child, and not a true threat to their doctrine.
Jayden, though a genius, never acted as such with others. He helped many when they stumbled, especially his roommates. This act gave him a few friends.
---
"So, you finally got a master", Elia asked Jayden, as they sat on his bed, which would soon become not his.
"Yes, I did", he answered.
Elia is a human girl from the next room, who, for some reason, always tagged along with Jayden, which also made the other three girls from the next room become friends with Jayden and his roommates.
Derek, Boran, and Verlok sat opposite his bed, saddened by the fact that Jayden would not be staying with them anymore.
He has informed them about the fact when they met in the mess hall, but he didn't say anything about the fact that he might be leaving the capital as well, just that he won't be sharing a room with them anymore.
Even though that was the only information he gave them, they were still saddened by that. All these years, he helped them to grow, which made it easier for them to progress in their skills and everything.
Now that help would disappear, they are sure that they would return to their original progress speed. Of course, with the foundation they have already established, they won't be falling down, just slowing down a bit.
Elia liked Jayden from the start, but only later learned that romance was forbidden among Jedi. Even then, she felt that it would be okay as long as she served alongside Jayden, but now that might not be the case anymore.
From the moment Jayden passed the trials, she knew that sooner than later, his new master would come and he would leave them, maybe even the capital, when there are missions.
Even the three girls who shared a room with Elia were saddened by the fact that their friend would be leaving them.
Though they didn't have any romantic feelings towards him, they still liked him better when compared to other boys, who usually try to flaunt their greatness in front of others, especially in front of girls.
Jayden, on the other hand, never did that. He even helped others whenever he could. Sure, he never went out on his way to help everyone out there, but he did help the ones that he felt friendly toward.
Even without his previous life memories, his behaviour was slightly affected by his last life. He would not give away things freely if they were not appreciated by the recipients.
For some reason, when someone acts arrogant or like an asshole even after he helped them, Jayden would ignore them in the future. There was no reason to waste his time on someone like that.
Maybe he was in contact with his family, who were worried that someone might take advantage of his kind heart, and would always give him advice on restraint.
Even kindness should have a restraint.
Everything should maintain a balance. There always should be an equivalent exchange, whether material or spiritual, but both parties should get something out of any transaction.
This was the motto that his family drilled into his mind.
He also acted accordingly. If the other didn't show any gratitude, he would stop giving them any useful advice. There was no need to waste his time and energy on someone who believes that someone owes them everything and shows no gratitude for their help.
The eight members spent some time together talking about all the days and nights that they had spent together in these halls. They had made a lot of memories in the temple, and now it was time to separate, which they couldn't accept.
They are kids, so they were reluctant, but years of Jedi teachings were for nothing. Though they were sad that one of them was leaving them, they still hoped that they would see him from time to time.

The Next Morning...
Jayden woke up early and packed his things. His master has told him that last night would be the last time he would be staying with his roommates.
He said goodbye to his friends, even to the four girls from the next room.
"Don't forget about us. We will find you again", Elia said as she hugged him for one last time.
It was unknown when they would be able to see each other again. So, she gave him a long hug. In fact, that was what everyone there did. They hugged him as much as they could before they let him go. There was even a group hug.
After saying his goodbyes, he arrived at the training grounds with a small bag that had his clothes and a few items that belonged to him.
When he arrived, his master was already present there.
"Good, you are here and came with your bag. Follow me", Ayla said as she led him through the halls to a different room for the stay.
"This is my room here on Coruscant. From now on, this is your room too, at least when we are on Coruscant", she said.
"Master, what do you mean whenever we are on Coruscant?" Jayden asked his master.
Though he estimated what would happen to them, he still had to act as a child who knew no such things.
"Haha, it's nothing, but my official job was not here. We can talk about that later. For now, let's get used to each other while we are here", she spoke as she urged him inside.
