Star Wars: the purge

As time steadily went by, one of the jedi council's highest figures was growing increasingly worried about an upcoming missions.

Since the outbreak of the clone wars,Yoda had become very attune to sensing when one of the missions the Jedi would be sent on would be more dangerous then usual.

And from what Yada was senseing form the force the battlefield that Shaak Ti would be heading to within the week would be extremely perilous. To the extent that it could pertentually lead to her death.

A prospect that no matter how many time he meditated on the thought he found the very idea distasteful. As one of the Jedi council members Shaak Ti could not be allowed to fall in battle. The possible ramifications of such an outcome if come to pass would be disastrous to the current jedi order.

All thoughts leading to only one solution, and that would be to warn her of the coming danger she might face. Though Yoda could not stop this mission he could at the very least have her prepare if the worst comes to pass.

Shaak Ti apon hearing that grand master Yoda of the Jedi order desired a private discussion with her relating to her next assignment. She made haste as she passed through the hallways of the Jedi temple.

A bad feeling was beginning to form within Shaak Ti.To have master Yoda indirect involvement im her next mission could only mean a few different scenarios.

Either this mission had become far more vital over the last few days. Or master Yoda had negative visions of the upcoming assignment that could pertentally bring her harm.

Arriving at a simple yet elegant door Shaak Ti knocked several time before waiting for answer from the highest authority within the Jedi order." Come inside, you should."

Apon hearing master Yoda's response, she walks inside the slightly sparten room that only had the bare minimum needed to function. But was designed for the purpose to bring tranquillity and help meditation so that the user may feel closer to the force.

With a delightful smile she respectfully greet the host." Grand master Yoda I'm pleased that you would reach out to myself, though I would be correct to assume that this discussion is not on good terms."

Sighing slightly, before making hand gesture towars the seatbinfront of him." Take a seat you should, talk we must."

With Yoda permision Shaak Ti sat herself down on the simple yet comforting seat before her. " danger I sense, perils you are to find."

Her smile slightly fading replaced by a frown as she knew better the to overlook the wisdom that she had been given." On my next mission you have seen an grim outcome within your visions."

Nodding his head in response was enough for her Shaak Ti to understand the problems she would find herself in with the next couple of days.

" then will I be receiving additional support for the upcoming mission, now that the risks have been greatly increased."

Slight pitty washes over Yoda before shacking his head dis confirming her earlier statement." Recive further support you will not. A spy the council suspects unfavourably this mission will be for you."

Understanding of what was been implied. The rest of the council had caught on the the idea of a spy among either the higher ups of the Republic or worse yet within the Jedi order itself.

If either were to be true , if the Jedi made request for additional support for this mission or applied more Jedi them originally allocated the spy within would most likly go quiet. Complete this mission and capture a spy, mait she must become.

Seeing the resolve within her sharp eyes Yoda smiled slightly." Volunteers you might still find,have faith in the force and all will be well."

Rising an eyebrow at master Yoda's attempt to relive her uncertainty,with the unlickly chance that someone would have any reason to volunteer for this mission that held no real value in the grand scheme of thing.

With the discussion over she leaves respectful understanding that what Yoda had given her was the ability to properly prepare.

Another half a day passed and grand master Yoda had called for a meeting with the Jedi council. Though not everyone was able to arrive in person they were still present.

" called this meeting I have to discuss Shaak Ti upcoming mission I have." Yoda speaks informing the other council member the reson for this meeting.

Master Plo finding the information disheartening." Though finding a spy is important I do not see the value of pertentally sacrificing master Shaak Ti for such little gain."

"This really isn't up for discussment Shaak Ti will follow through with her role, one life is not more important them the current delemer the galaxy faces." The ever strick Ki Adi Mumdi trying to point out the importance of the missions.

" I feel this is the work of either count Dooku or general Grievius. If either one is correct then it would be quiet a disadvantage encounter." Kit fister comments.

Plo still unsure." Can we at least try to gather some volunteers to support her. Her death should not come to be."

"Agreement I'm in volunteers we need."

Mace Windu finally deciding to interject." I assure you all that none of you have to worry about master Shaak Ti's safety. Before this meeting I received a report on the upcoming missions and believe it or not General Vincent recently volunteered for this mission."

His comment left them all silent for a shirt moment." The timeing of this is rather convenient, why would someone with a fearsome reputation such as Vincent even volunteer." Coment master Plo.

"Actually from report, general Vincent visited the Jedi temple just yesterday. His reason for visiting was stated to be a private talk with young skywalker."

" do you believe that skywalker much like master Yoda felt troubled with the upcoming mission, in doing so sought the help of general Vincent to aid Shaak Ti."

" that is the most likely case. But the most important question is weather Vincent has the ability to deal with Dooku or Greivous."

Kit fister hoping to reasure the others" from what I have witnessed working with the man in question I believe that handerling Dooku would be rather easy, but Greivous is a different matter, the probability of him losing is low but."

" if Greivous finds himself at a loss he would kost likely flee." Mace Windu interrupts.

" Hmm a great debt the young skywalker might find himself in."

With a solution found the council continued their discussions for some time. Before finally going separate ways, with the real reason for Vincent involvement unsolved.
