Chapter 24: White Mask
It was night, the air was tick and the broken moon of Remnant was the hugging almost like a for telling, as in the night people were moving wearing white fang Uniform as they were loading dust, as leading them was a man
He is a tall and lanky man with slanted, dark-green eyes and bright, long, orange hair, with long bangs covering his right eye. Black eyeliner traced his visible left eye.
As a result of his affiliation with Spider, he had the organization's emblem tattooed on his right wrist.

Next to him was a girl, she seemed themed after Neapolitan ice cream, had the appropriate trio of colors in her hair and on her outfit. While sometimes altered via illusion for disguise, her hair color was typically half pink and half brown, with white streaks on the pink side. She wore a white cropped wide, broad tailed jacket with a pink interior, collar, a single pink button and large pink cuffs. She wore skintight brown leather pants with a dark belt that had a gray buckle and an additional narrow belt under it. Under her jacket was a brown over bust whalebone corset, curved in the middle and at the bottom, which exposed her hips. She also wore a multitude of black beaded necklaces, which hung haphazardly around her neck. Neo also wore black and white spat styled under the knee boots alongside black gloves.

They were leading trh white fang, as Roman was smoking loading the dust cart, as then they saw something moved as then one there men fell, as they saw a man in cloak with that of a broken Grimm mask.
The man looked at them as he spoke in his mind. "This is bad idea Oscar, why am I doing this and why am I speaking in the third person, just remember don't actually talk unless need".
Roman Torchwick raised an eyebrow, the flickering light of his cigar casting shadows across his sharp features. He gestured for the White Fang soldiers to halt their work, his tone dripping with bemusement.
"Well, well, what do we have here? Another masked vigilante? Or just someone who really likes playing dress-up?"
Neo smirked, twirling her parasol with a casual grace that belied the sharpness of her eyes as she assessed the cloaked figure.
The cloaked man—Oscar, or rather the part of him that regretted this impulsive decision—took a slow, steady breath. He could feel his heart pounding, but he kept his posture calm. If he was going to do this, he needed to commit.
One of the White Fang soldiers stepped forward, drawing his weapon. "Who are you supposed to be, huh? Some kind of hero?"
Oscar didn't answer immediately. Instead, he tilted his head, letting the dim light from the loading bay catch the eerie gleam of his Grimm mask. He raised a hand, conjuring a small, flickering orb of fire magic that hovered ominously above his palm.
Roman's eyes narrowed, his playful demeanor sharpening into something far more dangerous. "Oh, great. Another one of you. Let me guess—you've come to ruin my night, right?"
Neo's smirk widened, and she tapped her parasol against the ground, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.
Oscar finally spoke, his voice deliberately low and distorted behind the mask. "Leave the dust. Walk away."
The soldiers exchanged nervous glances, but Roman laughed, the sound echoing through the loading bay. "Oh, sweetheart, you've got the wrong crew if you think we scare that easily." He gestured lazily toward the cloaked figure. "Take him out."
The soldiers rushed forward, weapons drawn, but Oscar was ready. He extended his hand, the orb of fire exploding into a burst of light that temporarily blinded the attackers. Moving quickly, he sidestepped their clumsy strikes, using his staff to knock weapons out of their hands and disarm them without unnecessary violence.
Neo darted forward, her parasol spinning as she aimed for Oscar's blind spot. He barely managed to block her strike, the force of it sending him skidding back.
"Fast," he muttered to himself.
Neo grinned, twirling her parasol again as if to taunt him.
Roman, meanwhile, leaned against the cart, watching the fight unfold with an amused expression. "You've got some moves, kid, I'll give you that. But you're outnumbered and outmatched. Do yourself a favor and run along before you get hurt."
Oscar didn't respond. Instead, he used his fire magic to create a barrier of flames, forcing the remaining soldiers to back off. Neo lunged at him again, but he managed to counter with a burst of energy that sent her sliding across the ground.
Roman's smirk faltered for a moment, but then he sighed and straightened up. "Alright, enough playing around." He reached for his cane, ready to join the fray.
Oscar tightened his grip on his staff, bracing himself. "This was a bad idea," he thought again.
But he wasn't about to back down now. Neo then moved in high speed, as she used her legs to fight, Oscar Actived his [Agility Skill], she then used the legs to attack using her speed to take an advantage but then Oscar blocked and then moved her then used water blast to sent her back, a few of rrb white fang member came.
After so many fight in the dungeon agents monster, these grunt's was light work they were smart do, unlike the mind less monster in the dungeon, he then punched one of the men sending him back breaking the man mask as showing that it was not a Faunus.
Oscar then used earth pulled and slammed his hand down, as the grutns fell to the ground In a thud.

Oscar moved bsu head to the side, as he saw a bullet sent pass him as he looked at who fired it was Roman, as he was holding his weapon.
Oscar just spoked in his mind. "Is everyone weapons also a type of Gun".
Oscar sighed internally as he dodged Roman's follow-up shot, rolling to the side and using his [Agility Skill] to close the distance. Roman smirked, raising his cane-gun, Melodic Cudgel, and firing another shot. Oscar raised an earth barrier to absorb the blast, shards of stone flying everywhere.
"Impressive," Roman said, lowering his weapon slightly. "But I hope you're not planning on getting close to me with just that stick."
Oscar didn't answer, instead conjuring a small whirlwind to scatter the debris. He leaped through the dust cloud, aiming his staff at Roman's weapon. The thief anticipated the move, parrying with surprising finesse.
"Looks like you've got some tricks up your sleeve," Roman said, chuckling as he kicked Oscar back. "But you're not the only one who knows how to fight dirty."
Before Oscar could recover, Neo appeared again, this time faster and more aggressive. She used her legs to deliver rapid, high-speed kicks, forcing Oscar to stay on the defensive. Each kick landed harder than the last, but his [Agility Skill] and dungeon training helped him deflect or evade most of the strikes.
Oscar saw an opening as Neo overcommitted to a spin kick. He countered with a water blast, sending her skidding across the ground. The blast also doused Roman's cigar, earning him an annoyed scowl.
"You really have a knack for ruining my nights," Roman grumbled, adjusting his hat. "Neo, sweetheart, I think it's time we stop playing with our food."
Neo nodded, her grin turning sinister as she activated her semblance, creating multiple illusions of herself. Oscar blinked, now surrounded by an army of Neos, each moving in a slightly different pattern.
"Damn it," he muttered.
Roman laughed, pointing his cane at Oscar. "Good luck finding the real one, kid. By the way..." He fired a round, grazing Oscar's arm. "...tick-tock."
Oscar clenched his jaw, ignoring the pain. He focused his senses, recalling his dungeon battles. This wasn't the first time he'd dealt with trickery.
Ding!

He smirked. "Found you."
With a swift motion, Oscar used his staff to strike at the real Neo, disrupting her semblance. The illusions shattered like glass, and Neo stumbled back, surprised.
Roman's grin vanished. "Well, that's inconvenient."
Before either could react, Oscar slammed his hand into the ground, creating a shockwave of earth spikes that forced them to retreat.
"Enough games," Oscar said, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. "Leave the dust and go."
Roman chuckled, tipping his hat. "You're persistent, I'll give you that. But we've got what we came for." He glanced at Neo, who nodded and activated her semblance again, covering their escape with another wave of illusions.
Oscar tried to pursue, but by the time he cleared the illusions, they were gone.
He sighed, looking around at the unconscious White Fang members and the scattered dust crates. "This is going to be a long night," he muttered.

Oscar rubbed the back of his head as he glanced at the notification. "At least I got something out of this."
As he turned to leave, he couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of something much bigger.
"You there"
Oscar stopped, as he then saw the local authority of Vale and Penny
Oscar just spoked in his mind. "Ah shit, also Penny here".
One of the cops said looking at him. "You understand".
Oscar just jumped, he pulled out his sword stabbed into and walll and escaped, seeing this Penny actived her truster as she follows as the other officers can't, why was she here she saw a chance to help and she did, that is what made sense to trh robot Girl's head.
As Oscar scaled the wall and leapt into the alleyways of Vale, his heart pounded. He knew this wasn't the time to engage with the authorities—especially with Penny involved. The situation was already complicated, and adding her relentless pursuit into the mix didn't help.
Penny's thrusters ignited, propelling her through the air as she followed him with precision. Her bright, cheerful voice carried over the wind. "Wait! You don't have to run! I just want to talk!"
Oscar groaned internally. "Yeah, sure. Talk to me after I just fought a gang of criminals. That's going to end well."
He darted through narrow streets and climbed over fences, using his [Agility Skill] to stay ahead of her. But Penny's aerial mobility gave her an advantage, and she was closing in fast.
"Stop right there, criminal scum!" Penny declared, clearly mimicking something she'd seen in a movie or read in a book.
Oscar rolled his eyes. "Seriously?"
He turned a corner and found himself on a rooftop overlooking the docks. The shimmering water of the harbor reflected the broken moon, providing a fleeting moment of serenity. But there was no time to appreciate the view—Penny landed a few feet behind him with a graceful thud.
"Please, I'm not here to hurt you," Penny said, raising her hands in a non-threatening gesture. "I just want to understand what happened back there."
Oscar hesitated, gripping his sword tightly. He could feel the ancient presence within Penny again, that protective yet ominous force that had revealed itself earlier. It was both a warning and a challenge.
"I don't know who you are or why you're here," Oscar said cautiously, "but I don't have time to explain myself to someone who's working with the authorities."
Penny tilted her head, her expression earnest. "I am not working with them. I just happened to be there. And besides, you seem... different. I wanted to know why."
Oscar's grip loosened slightly. There was no hostility in her tone—only curiosity. But he couldn't risk exposing himself further.
"You're persistent, I'll give you that," Oscar said, taking a step back toward the edge of the rooftop. "But you don't want to get involved with me."
Penny's eyes narrowed slightly as she analyzed his movements. "If you're not guilty, why are you running?"
Oscar chuckled dryly. "Because explaining the truth is a lot harder than it sounds."
Without another word, he jumped off the rooftop, landing on a stack of crates below and disappearing into the shadows of the docks.
Penny watched him go, her expression a mix of determination and curiosity. "I will find out who you are," she said softly, before activating her thrusters and flying back toward the city.
As Oscar slipped away, he couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't the last time he'd cross paths with the strange girl. "Just great," he muttered. "Another complication."
After a while the other officers arrived, asking her if she caught him she just said that she lost him, as for Oscar he was hiding in Wearhouse.
He opened his inventory and pulled out a few pancake's and ate, as his health started to recover

He made his way back to Beacon and sneaked into his room, he was really thankful for his [Stealth Skill] he has a few new skill to train his daily training helps.
Next morning, everyone was reading the news as a blurry picture of Oscar in his Hero Prasanna was on the news and they said the nema was the White Mask
The headline read Hero or Menace, as Ruby was reading this on her scroll and so we're other Students in Beacon Academy, as for Oscar he was wondering how the hell they got the picture
Oscar sat at the breakfast table in the Beacon Academy cafeteria, casually eating his food while trying to avoid any suspicious glances. His mind raced as he pondered the blurry photo on the news and the ridiculous nickname: White Mask.
"Hero or Menace, huh?" he muttered to himself, smirking at the irony. "Why not just call me trouble and be done with it?"
Ruby, sitting nearby, held up her Scroll and squinted at the image. "Wow, this White Mask person is all over the news! Look at this—he took out a whole group of White Fang operatives last night. Isn't that insane?"
Weiss rolled her eyes, sipping her coffee. "Insane is an understatement. If he's going around interfering with criminal operations, he's bound to get himself hurt—or worse. Vigilantism is reckless and illegal, Ruby."
"But... isn't it kinda cool?" Ruby said with a sparkle in her eyes. "I mean, he's taking down bad guys!"
Weiss sighed. "That's what Huntsmen are for, Ruby. Not random people in masks."
Blake glanced up from her book, her expression unreadable. "What worries me more is how the media is painting him. If they can't decide whether he's a hero or a villain, that ambiguity could lead to trouble—for everyone."
Oscar, seated a few tables away, kept his head low. He could feel the stares and murmurs around him as students read the same headline. Despite the blurry photo, the resemblance was close enough to make him uncomfortable.
Jaune joined the conversation, leaning over Ruby's shoulder to look at her Scroll. "You think this guy is a student at Beacon? I mean, it'd explain how he's so skilled."
"Maybe," Ruby said, tilting her head. "Or he could be some mysterious rogue Huntsman. Either way, I'd love to meet him!"
Oscar nearly choked on his food. Oh no, you wouldn't.
Yang smirked as she grabbed a seat next to Ruby. "I dunno, Ruby. Maybe he's just a show-off looking for attention. Or maybe..." She leaned closer, lowering her voice for dramatic effect. "...he's got a dark and mysterious past."
"That's ridiculous," Weiss said, waving her hand dismissively.
"Not as ridiculous as people thinking he's a hero," Oscar finally chimed in, his voice steady despite the internal panic. "The guy's just stirring up trouble, making things harder for real Huntsmen."
Ruby blinked, surprised by his comment. "You don't think he's trying to help?"
Oscar shrugged, keeping his tone neutral. "Intentions don't matter if the execution causes more problems. The White Fang isn't going to back down because of one person."
Blake's gaze lingered on Oscar for a moment, as if she were trying to read his thoughts. Then she closed her book and stood up. "He has a point. This could escalate things."
As the group continued their discussion, Oscar quietly excused himself, his mind swirling with plans to stay under the radar. He needed to be more careful—and figure out who managed to snap that photo.
As he left the cafeteria, Ruby called out, "Hey, Oscar! You don't think he's a total menace, right?"
Oscar paused, glancing back with a faint smile. "I think... sometimes people see what they want to see. Hero or menace? Maybe he's just someone trying to do what he thinks is right."
Ruby tilted her head, pondering his words, while Blake watched Oscar's retreating figure with a thoughtful expression.
