Chapter 3: Chapter 3
<
"Alright, I did mention a Herrscher earlier, right? Yuki, what does that word mean to you?"
Masachika posed a question, directing it toward the meaning of the word "Herrscher." Yuki responded promptly, saying:
"Herrscher is a German word that means 'Ruler' or 'Monarch,'"
Yuki answered confidently.
"That's right. But personally, I prefer to call them 'Lawmen'—because they have the ability to bend the laws of physics and reality to their own will."
"Eh?"
Yuki's eyes widened in shock at his statement. Ayano, though equally surprised, managed to maintain a composed expression, but her mind was reeling. Did he just say they could bend the laws of physics and reality to their will?
"What's more, their powers work on an atomic level."
"Wait! Hold on, stop! What do you mean by 'bending the laws of physics or reality'? Can they do that?"
Yuki's voice was filled with disbelief, her eyes wide with a mix of curiosity and concern as she stared at Masachika.
"Yes, and I mean exactly what I said, dear sister."
Masachika leaned back slightly, his tone calm but firm.
"Their abilities go beyond anything bound by natural law. Imagine reshaping the very fabric of reality—gravity, time, energy—at will. It's not about defying the rules but rewriting them as the undeniable truth of existence, as if reality itself bends to their command."
Yuki furrowed her brows, still trying to grasp the implications.
"But that's insane! Doesn't that mean they could make anything possible? Like... walking through walls or creating something from nothing?"
"Precisely,"
Masachika replied, nodding.
"But it's not limitless. It depends on their authority, their comprehension of the laws they're manipulating, and, of course, their energy reserves. Belfast can vouch for me."
He glanced at the maid, who had been silently observing the exchange, waiting for her input. Belfast stepped forward, her serene expression unwavering.
"Indeed, Miss Yuki. While such feats are extraordinary, they are not without their gravitas. A Herrscher alone possesses the power to bring about the end of civilization should they ever choose to. Their very existence is a force that can reshape or destroy the world as we know it."
At this revelation, both Yuki and Ayano froze, their minds struggling to process the weight of what they had just heard. The idea of bending reality itself was already overwhelming, but the fact that Masachika spoke of it so casually added another layer of shock. Yuki, still grappling with the implications, narrowed her eyes and pointed an accusatory finger at him.
"So… what you're saying is… you're one of those beings?"
Yuki asked cautiously, her voice trembling slightly.
"Yes, You're right. I am the Herrscher of Finality."
"The Herrscher of Finality…"
Yuki repeated, trying to process the weight of his words.
"Is that… like the last Herrscher? The ultimate one?"
"Exactly. You could put it that way,"
Masachika said with a small nod.
"I see…"
Yuki murmured, her mind racing. She paused, then recalled something he had said earlier.
"You mentioned before that a Herrscher's power operates on an atomic level, didn't you?"
"Yes, They have the ability to manipulate matter at its most fundamental level construct or disintegrate matter molecule by molecule—or even atom by atom—depending on their Authority."
At his words, Yuki and Ayano exchanged a nervous glance. A chill ran down their spines as they began to grasp the horrifying potential of what such power could achieve. It wasn't just strength; it was absolute dominance over existence itself.
"Oh, and since I'm the Final Herrscher, does that mean I can gift someone a Herrscher Core? Right, Belfast?"
He turned to Belfast, knowing she likely had knowledge of the Cocoon and Herrschers from her Creator. He was aware that the Cocoon could bestow a Herrscher Core to someone, but he wasn't sure if he had the same ability.
"Yes, Master. Since you are the Herrscher of Finality, you are next to the Cocoon of Finality. It is possible for you to do what the Cocoon can."
"Wait, a Herrscher Core? Is that like a power source for a Herrscher?"
"Yes, it's crucial. The Herrscher Core represents the Authority of a particular field—such as the Authority of Reason or Void. It makes them an Absolute Ruler in their respective domain, making it futile to challenge them in battle."
"Heeeh... Wait, then what about you?"
Yuki, now more intrigued, asked what kind of authority the Herrscher of Finality possessed.
"So, what exactly does the Authority of Finality mean, Brother? Is it like... the end?"
"Well, you're not wrong in saying it represents the end, since 'Finality' is a synonym for 'end.' But, the Herrscher of Finality has the ability to use all the Authorities that any other Herrscher has, because it is the final Herrscher."
"Wha—Does that mean you can use every kind of Authority, Brother?!"
Yuki jumped up from the couch, leaning toward him to seek confirmation. Masachika instinctively backed away, feeling uncomfortable at how close she was. He wasn't sure how many authorities the Cocoon of Finality held, or what kind of Authority of Finality truly is. but let's just say that it lets the user be able to use all of the Herrscher Authority and he only knew about fourteen Authority so far.
Masachika didn't believe that the Authority of Finality was simply the ability to manipulate time. He suspected it had to involve another authority—something not covered in the game or the wiki. Since this wasn't part of the game but rather his reality, he began considering whether the Authority of Finality might truly represent the power to bring an end to one's existence.
If that were the case, he thought, it would be incredibly unbalanced. After all, if the developers of Honkai introduced the idea that the Cocoon's Authority of Finality meant bringing about absolute ends, it would be both overpowered and unfair.
He reasoned that this might explain why it was framed as the ability to manipulate time instead. He also considered that this concept might not apply solely to the Authority of Finality but to other Authorities as well. Some, like Finality, are straightforward in their implications, while others remain shrouded in vagueness, such as Void, Reason, Truth, Death, Rebirth and Stars. Each carries a profound power, their true potential hinted at yet left open to interpretation.
This was Masachika's theory, but without concrete evidence to back it up, he decided it was best to keep this idea in mind for now, just in case it turned out to be true.
"Y-Yes, and please sit down, you're too close."
"Ah, alright…"
Yuki settled back down, but her curiosity didn't wane.
"So, you said you're going to give us a Herrscher Core, right?"
"Yes, it's mainly for your protection."
He said this while taking a sip of his tea, but it had gone cold from the long conversation.
"Ah, it's cold."
"Please allow me to reheat it for you, Masachika-sama."
"No, it's fine. There's something I want to try."
Masachika closed his eyes, leaving Yuki and Ayano confused as to what he was doing. However, Belfast, who was observing closely, recognized his actions. Masachika was trying to sense something within himself.
After a moment, he felt a rhythmic beating inside of him. It was the Herrscher Core.
He realized it felt like a second heart, pulsing in perfect harmony with his own. And it was no illusion—Herrscher Cores functioned as a second heart. Unless forcibly removed, the Core rendered its bearer effectively immortal. It preserved their soul and consciousness, much like Welt Yang, who perpetually returned to life. By storing his essence within the Herrscher Core, Welt could wait for the right opportunity to reconstruct a physical body and revive himself. This remarkable process made the Herrscher Core not just a source of power but a vessel of eternal existence.
However, this capability was unique to Herrschers of Reason or Truth, as only they possessed the ability to construct a physical body. Unlike other Herrschers, their powers allowed them to reshape matter and energy with unparalleled precision, making such feats of self-revival possible.
Then, Masachika felt an energy swirling around him, filling the air. He recognized it immediately as Honkai Energy.
He focused, channeling the energy outward. His mind worked in tandem with the flow of power as he visualized the molecules in the tea accelerating, just enough to raise its temperature.
A moment later, steam began to rise from the tea, and it bubbled as it reached a rolling boil. Yuki and Ayano gaped, eyes wide in disbelief.
"Wha—what just happened?"
Yuki stammered, her voice filled with shock.
"I accelerated the molecules in the tea, raising its temperature. That's the Authority of Fire," Masachika explained casually, though his eyes were still focused on the boiling cup.
He took a sip of the now-heated tea.
"Ow! Too hot!"
He hissed in pain, quickly setting the cup down, and rubbing his mouth from the unexpected burn. Belfast and Ayano, who had witnessed the incident, quickly approached him to check if he was alright.
"Master/Masachika-sama, are you okay?"
They both asked at the same time. Masachika nodded, reassuring them.
"Yes, I'm fine. But there you have it. Now you believe me, right?"
"Y-yes... and you could even give us a Herrscher Core?"
"Yes, that's right."
Yuki, upon hearing this, couldn't help but be captivated by the idea. The thought of bending reality to her will, of achieving feats straight out of her favorite manga and anime, overshadowed any lingering doubts or fears. The power to shape the world around her seemed far too tempting to resist, especially when it came at no cost—her brother was offering her the Herrscher Core for free. With that, all hesitation melted away. Without a second thought, she decided that becoming a Herrscher was the right choice. After all, why not? The possibilities were endless.
"Then what's the hold-up, Brother?! Give me a Herrscher Core! Anything is fine! I want to try things I haven't been able to do!"
"I'm afraid I have to stop you there, Sister."
Masachika halted his sister, who was already excitedly imagining what she might do with the power of a Herrscher Core.
"Eeeeh? Why?"
"I want to give it to you, but we don't know if you have enough Honkai resistance yet."
Masachika explained. He knew that girls and women generally have a higher resistance to Honkai Energy compared to men. Why that was that the case? He didn't know. If you want to know, go ask Mihoyo.
"Ehh, how boring."
"I know. But it's for your own safety, as you've probably gathered from what I just told you about how I ended up in the hospital. It's because I didn't have the necessary resistance for it."
"I see…"
Yuki fell into thought as she processed his words. Masachika, noticing her contemplation, continued.
"so to cover for that, I'll give you Stigmata first. That way, we can test if you have the necessary resistance for it."
"Stigmata? What's that? Is it like a nerf version of a Herrscher Core?"
Yuki asked, tilting her head. Masachika was a little baffled to hear that comparison. The Herrscher Core and Stigmata shouldn't even be on the same level. Stigmata simply enhances physical abilities to surpass that of a normal and even athletic human, whereas a Herrscher Core makes someone godlike.
"Stigmata, also known as a Witch Mark or Cursed Mark, is a design that forms on the skin as a visual indicator that the person has mutated to adapt to Honkai energy."
"Heh, so it's a witch mark, huh? So this will help me adapt to Honkai Energy?"
"Exactly. There are currently three known types of Stigmata: Artificial Stigmata, Natural Stigmata, and True Stigmata."
"Three types? Can you explain what each one is, Brother?"
"Alright. First is Artificial Stigmata. These are designed to mimic Natural Stigmata. They're created by infusing artificial DNA with Honkai energy, derived from a compatible bloodline. This method improves Honkai adaptability, but it shortens the person's lifespan significantly and increases the risk of a cascade event over time."
"Hmm… So it's pretty dangerous for someone with an Artificial Stigmata, huh?"
"Yep. Next is Natural Stigmata. These are naturally found in individuals with a high Honkai adaptability, often passed down through bloodlines."
"So it's a bloodline type Stigmata?"
"Exactly. And finally, we have True Stigmata. These are bestowed upon chosen individuals with the potential to become a Herrscher."
"I see. So those are all the types?"
Yuki asked, trying to process the new information. Masachika nodded.
"That's right."
"Hmmm. So which type are you going to give me? You better not give me the Artificial one."
"I know, like hell I'll give you that. I'll give you a True Stigmata."
"Heh, so it's to compensate for the Herrscher Core."
"Exactly. This will allow you to resist Honkai Energy. Once I see that you have the necessary resistance, I'll implant a Herrscher Core inside you."
"Yipeeee!"
Yuki cheered with uncontainable excitement, her eyes sparkling with joy as she leaped forward and threw her arms around Masachika in a warm, enthusiastic embrace.
"I love you, Brother!"
she exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine happiness and gratitude. She held him tightly, as if conveying all her emotions in that single gesture.
Masachika, slightly taken aback by her sudden burst of affection, softened as he looked at her radiant expression. A small, fond smile spread across his face.
"Anytime. Now come on. I'm going to implant the Stigmata now."
"All right, but before you do that…"
Yuki slowly released her embrace, stepping back slightly as her cheerful expression turned thoughtful. She looked up at Masachika with curiosity in her eyes and asked,
"Brother, you have a True Stigmata too, don't you?"
Her question was laced with both intrigue and a hint of expectation as if she already suspected the answer but wanted to hear it directly from him.
"Yes, and if you want to know where it is, it is on my back."
"I see. Can I see it?"
"Well, if you want."
Masachika nodded in response and slowly began removing his shirt. As the fabric slid off, Yuki's gaze fell on the Stigmata etched into his back: a striking purple, four-pointed star. She couldn't help but step closer, her fingers almost instinctively reaching out to gently trace the intricate mark.
"So… this is the Stigmata?"
"Yes. Now you see it. It's like a Witch Mark, right?"
"yes…"
After hearing her confirmation, Masachika let out a small sigh of relief and began slipping his shirt back on, his movements calm and deliberate as if the weight of their conversation had momentarily lifted.
Yuki eagerly rushed toward her brother, her excitement evident as she urged him to implant the True Stigmata on her without hesitation.
"Now, come on, dear Brother! Implant the True Stigmata on me!"
"Alright, alright. So, where do you want it?"
Masachika asked. Yuki smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief.
"Hehe, I want it between my chest!"
"wha- oi, are you sure about that?"
"Of course I'm sure! Isn't it arousing for anyone who sees a mark right there?"
Masachika couldn't help but understand her reasoning. For someone as stunning as Yuki, a mark placed between her chest would undoubtedly draw attention, making it all the more captivating.
If she were to wear something that exposed her upper chest, the Stigmata would be clearly visible, drawing attention and making it even more provocative.
"Sure, but that only applies to some people,"
he muttered.
"I know! So, are you going to put it there or not?"
Masachika paused, weighing his options. Should it be on her back, or on her chest? After a brief moment of hesitation, he let out a quiet sigh, ultimately deciding to go along with her request.
"fine! So, which Herrscher Stigmata do you want?"
"hmm, is there an Authority that is related to creation?"
"yes, there is. but it is called as Authority of Reason you see."
"I see, then I want that one."
"alright, then take off your clothes."
Yuki nodded and slowly removed her top. Masachika remained calm, though Yuki noticed his lack of visible reaction. She felt a little disappointed, expecting a more typical response, like in the manga or anime. Now, standing only in her bra, she eagerly said,
"Now, come on! I'm waiting!"
"Hold on. Geez. Belfast, could you support me with this?"
"Of course, Master."
Belfast stood beside them, ready to assist Yuki if needed. Before proceeding, she shared the necessary knowledge with Masachika on how to implant a Stigmata, which was a huge relief since he had no idea how to do it himself.
Masachika placed his hand gently between Yuki's chest. Yuki twitched slightly at the touch, trying to remain calm. Masachika focused, on visualizing the process of bestowing the Stigmata to Yuki. Once he had a clear image, he sent a small pulse of Honkai Energy into her body.
As the energy flowed into Yuki's body, Masachika observed with surprise. There was no sign of Honkai Corruption, no pain or discomfort. Instead, her body absorbed the energy smoothly and effortlessly. He quickly realized that while most individuals had a strong resistance to Honkai, Yuki seemed to possess an even higher resistance than most. It was as though she were destined to become a Herrscher herself, especially if the Cocoon of Finality were to ever manifest in this World.
After a brief moment, the Stigmata of Reason manifested on her chest. Masachika had briefly considered bestowing the Stigmata of Truth upon her, but doubts lingered. The Herrscher of Truth was known as the most powerful manifestation of Reason, but its abilities came with no true limits—its power was bound only by the user's imagination. He wasn't sure if he could grant her that level of control.
Without Masachika's conscious decision, something seemed to stir within him, almost as if his very being had made the choice on its own. Before he could stop himself, a powerful surge of energy poured into Yuki, and the Stigmata of Truth materialized on her chest. The intricate, glowing design was different from what he had planned, more complex and unpredictable.
Yuki looked down at the mark now on her chest.
"is that all? I don't feel any of those kinds of things that you talk about dear Brother?"
"y-yeah."
Masachika wasn't sure how to break the news to Yuki that he had inadvertently given her the Stigmata of Truth, making her the potential future Herrscher of Truth. Even Belfast, who had been observing the procedure, was taken aback by this unexpected turn of events.
Yuki, noticing the slight shift in Masachika's demeanor, tilted her head and asked, "Nee, Brother. Is something wrong?"
"A-ah, what do you mean?"
Masachika stammered, trying to maintain his composure.
"Well, I just have this feeling… like you messed up on something,"
she said, her eyes narrowing slightly as if she were peering into his thoughts.
Masachika froze for a moment. He couldn't decide if Yuki was exceptionally sharp or just incredibly perceptive. Ultimately, he sighed, realizing it would be better to come clean rather than keep it a secret or lie to her.
"Well, let's just say that I didn't give you the Stigmata of Reason."
Masachika said, a slight pause in his voice.
"Hm? What do you mean?"
Yuki asked, her brow furrowing in confusion as she looked at him. Masachika took a deep breath before continuing.
"Well, I gave you a more powerful version of the Stigmata of Reason—it's called the Stigmata of Truth."
Yuki's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Wha—oi, are you serious, Brother?"
"y-yeah, sorry."
Yuki, seeing her brother's mistake, was completely baffled. She opened her mouth to say something but paused, holding herself back as she tried to process what had just happened. The only that come out of her is just sigh.
"Sigh Whatever. If you're saying it's the stronger version of Reason, then I guess it's fine."
Yuki shrugged, her frustration fading as she tried to make peace with the situation.
"I see..."
Masachika replied, feeling a little sheepish. He didn't know what else to say, knowing he had just made a small mistake by implanting the wrong type of Stigmata, but it seemed like there was no turning back now.
He then tried to change the topic by saying.
"w-well, after knowing that you have the Resistance for Honkai Energy, I can safely assume that you will be fine in housing a Herrscher Core."
"oh, right. then to fix that mistake then implant the Herrscher Core in me!"
Without hesitation, Yuki seized the opportunity to get what she wanted—the Herrscher Core.
Masachika, hearing her response, realized he couldn't refuse. Since he had made the mistake, it would be better to take responsibility and correct it, even if it meant going along with her wishes.
"Alright. Belfast," Masachika said, calling for her assistance.
Upon hearing this, Belfast transmitted the necessary knowledge to him, detailing the process of bestowing a Herrscher Core. Masachika absorbed the information, feeling the weight of the task ahead.
"Thanks. Now, get ready, Yuki,"
he instructed.
"Un!"
Yuki nodded eagerly.
Masachika placed his hand gently on Yuki's chest, channeling the knowledge Belfast had shared. He focused intently, beginning the process of implanting the Herrscher Core of Truth into Yuki's body. The air was thick with concentration as he followed the detailed instructions, making sure every step was executed slow and precisely.
Minutes passed in tense silence. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Masachika sighed in relief.
"There, it's done. Phew..."
He wiped the sweat from his brow, exhausted from the intense focus required. Yuki, still processing the procedure, closed her eyes to check her own body. After a few moments of stillness, she felt a pulse—strong, yet unfamiliar. It wasn't her heartbeat. It was something else. She opened her eyes with certainty. That was the Herrscher Core.
Masachika who see this then said.
"you feel it right?"
"yes, that was my Herrscher Core right?"
"that's right. you are now the Herrscher of Truth."
As the weight of the realization that she was now a Herrscher settled on her, Yuki paused for a moment, feeling the gravity of the transformation. Yet, rather than dwelling on the implications, her mind shifted. The thought of all the things she could now do—the incredible feats she had only dreamed of in manga and anime—pushed away any doubts or concerns. After all, why dwell on the heavy stuff when she could now have the power to do the things she'd always fantasized about?
"is that all now Brother?"
"yes that should be all. oh right, Ayano do you want to have a Stigmata or perhaps a Herrscher Core?"
Masachika ask if Ayano who is being quiet. And when she heard that she stunned because Masachika has given her the choice if she want to have a Stigmata or Herrscher Core.
"I-Is that okay, Masachika-sama?"
"Yes, that's fine with me since this is also very beneficial for you since you are Yuki's maid and protect her if need be."
Yuki nodded in understanding, then began putting on her shirt again. It had been a long and eventful night, and she decided it was best to call it a day.
"Well, I'll call it a night now. I'm a little tired after hearing all this new information,"
she said. Masachika nodded in agreement.
"Alright, get some rest."
"Goodnight, Brother, Ayano, and also Belfast."
"Goodnight, Yuki,"
"Goodnight, Yuki-sama," Belfast added, bowing politely.
Yuki smiled before heading to her room, leaving Masachika, Ayano, and Belfast alone in the room. Masachika turned to Ayano, his expression thoughtful.
"So, what do you think, Ayano?"
he asked. Ayano took a moment to consider the pros and cons of accepting a Stigmata. She was unsure, but the idea of gaining power that could help her in her duties as a maid didn't seem so bad after all.
"W-well... if you please, Masachika-sama... Bestow upon me a Stigmata,"
she said, her voice hesitant but resolute. Masachika smiled gently.
"Alright, then. Come here."
Ayano nodded and walked over to sit beside him, taking a seat near him.
"So, where would you like your Stigmata to be placed?" he asked.
"My back, please,"
Ayano replied, carefully removing a part of her maid uniform, revealing a purple-colored bra beneath. She shifted her hair to the side, exposing her back to him. Masachika remained calm, focusing on the task at hand.
"Alright, I'll begin now. If you feel any discomfort during the process, just let me know, alright?"
"Un,"
Ayano responded, her voice steady despite the nerves she felt.
Masachika placed his hand gently on her back, and Ayano couldn't help but let out a small yelp.
"Kya!"
Masachika immediately pulled back slightly, concerned.
"Ah, sorry, did I startle you?"
"No, no. Please, continue," Ayano reassured him, steadying herself.
Masachika nodded and began sending a small stream of Honkai energy into her. As the energy entered, Ayano felt a strange discomfort. Her skin began to pale, and pink circuit-like lines appeared on her back. The energy was more violent than she had anticipated, and her cells seemed to degrade under the overwhelming force of the Honkai energy. It felt unsettling, but she kept herself composed, knowing this was the process.
After a full minute, Ayano's body began to develop antibodies to the Honkai energy. The pink lines and pale skin started to recede, gradually disappearing until they were no longer visible. When the process was complete, a Stigmata had manifested on her back, marking the successful implantation.
"Alright, the implantation of the Stigmata is complete. Do you want to move on to the Herrscher Core, Ayano?"
Masachika asked, knowing that her body could now handle the violent energy of the Herrscher Core. Ayano nodded in response.
"Yes, please do so, Masachika-sama."
"Alright, here it goes."
With that, Masachika focused entirely, knowing that planting the Herrscher Core of Void inside Ayano's body was a delicate task. Even though it was his second time implanting a Herrscher Core, the pressure was still immense. One misstep could result in disaster for both of them, so he needed to be completely focused to follow the steps correctly.
After several minutes of pure concentration, Masachika finally finished implanting the Herrscher Core of Void into Ayano. She was now the Herrscher of Void.
"There, it's done. Phew…"
He wiped the sweat from his brow, feeling exhausted after the intense focus it required.
Ayano, now processing the transformation, closed her eyes and waited for any signs of the change. A moment later, she felt a new heartbeat, one that wasn't her own. She suspected it was the Herrscher Core.
"Umm, Masachika-sama. What kind of Herrscher Core did you give me?"
Ayano asked, her tone as monotone as ever.
"Oh, it's the Herrscher Core of Void. It grants you the ability to bend space to your will. Essentially, it allows you to teleport as long as you know the coordinates," Masachika explained, glancing at her.
Ayano paused for a moment, absorbing the information.
"...I see."
Her voice remained even and neutral, but the weight of the knowledge seemed to settle in her mind. The prospect of bending space was powerful, though her expression didn't reveal the extent of her thoughts on the matter.
"Thank you for giving me the Herrscher Core, Masachika-sama," Ayano said, slipping back into her maid outfit and offering her gratitude.
"No problem. As long as you use that power to protect Yuki, then I'm fine with giving you the Herrscher Core"
Masachika replied, his tone calm but serious.
"I see. Once again, thank you,"
Ayano said, bowing slightly. Masachika nodded and said.
"Alright, now go get some rest. It's almost midnight, and you have school tomorrow."
"Of course. If you'll excuse me, Masachika-sama."
Ayano bowed politely before turning and leaving, leaving Masachika and Belfast alone in the living room. Masachika who see this decide to head to his room to rest. A lot had happened on his first day in this new world.
"Well, I'll call it a night too. Oh, right—Belfast, before you rest, could you create an exosuit that can increase its weight anytime I want, with no limit to the weight increment? It should also be able to remain hidden while I'm wearing it. Can you make it?"
Masachika asked because, given that Belfast's creator had already given him Ultraspeed Regeneration, Reactive Evolution, and Belfast herself, he figured he might as well take full advantage of it. He planned to train like a maniac, copying a method he once read in a fanfic. He hoped that his Regeneration would be strong enough to heal any severe muscle tears without leaving scar tissue. Additionally, Reactive Evolution would continuously strengthen my bones and muscle fibers, making them progressively stronger with each iteration, far surpassing their previous limits.
"certainly master."
She quickly created the exosuit as requested and handed it to him. Masachika was surprised at how light it felt—almost like a feather.
"Here you go, Master."
"t-thanks Belfast."
he said, stunned at how easily she made such a thing. He wanted to call her a cheat but decided against it, realizing her creator was likely even more of cheat and capable of creating things with mere thoughts.
"you can rest now."
"thank you, master."
She said as she was grateful that her master is also very nice to her maid. She then disappeared from her place, when Masachika saw this he thought that she probably went to her own different Dimension to have a rest.
Masachika headed to his room to sleep. Once there, he fell onto the bed, thinking about everything that had happened.
"sigh so many things have happened on this first day."
He realized he had forgotten to explain important concepts like Honkai Energy, Stigmata, and other related topics to both Yuki and Ayano. However, it was too late to address it now. He decided that he would explain everything to them later, either over the phone or when they had some free time. After all, a conversation about Honkai couldn't be wrapped up in a single sitting.
He then closes his eyes, to try and get some sleep in since some much has happened in the span of one day.
Masachika suddenly opened his eyes and sat up in bed, exclaiming,
"I can't sleep!"
Despite his rest in the hospital, he still felt completely refreshed and full of energy. Since sleep eluded him, he decided to read some material online, knowing that his Herrscher power was closely tied to his knowledge. His ability to wield the Authority of Fire, for instance, came from his understanding of molecular acceleration.
With that in mind, he headed to his computer and powered it on, preparing to dive into a wealth of information on the internet. To keep himself from losing track of time while reading, he set an alarm on his phone.
=====================
Meanwhile, in a laboratory, a tall woman with long, curly green hair cascading to her waist stood amidst her research. Her lab coat and glasses complemented her sharp, piercing gaze, with eyes displaying a gradient from green to light pink.
Currently, she was researching skin tissue samples from the hospital where Masachika had been. She examined his blood and the white carapace on his skin with a frenzied intensity that unsettled the other researchers.
"Fascinating! Fascinating! For this phenomenon to appear here... and this blood, this skin tissue—they fascinate me the most!"
She exclaimed, watching the results of her tests. She observed what happened when other blood samples were mixed with Masachika's. Each one melted due to an unknown phenomenon.
"I don't know what this is, but I need to find the owner of this blood sample,"
she declared, her voice laced with excitement. Turning to her assistant, she shouted,
"Klein! Find out who owns this blood!"
A petite woman with wavy green hair falling to her shoulders and pink-green gradient eyes entered the room.
"Yes, Professor Mobius,"
Klein responded, immediately beginning her task.
"Hehe, I can't wait to meet this person,"
Mobius licked her lips, her eyes gleaming with anticipation as she considered the prospect of researching this extraordinary specimen. Her expression, filled with dark excitement, sent a chill down the spines of the other scientists, who couldn't help but feel uneasy around her. Just then, someone tapped her lightly on the back of the head with a book, breaking her focus.
"Mobius, calm down. you are scaring the others."
said a young woman with turquoise eyes, fair skin, and long brown hair streaked with turquoise, loosely tied with a golden DNA-shaped hairpin. She wore a pearl earring on her left ear and a matching pearl necklace around her neck.
Mobius turned to see who it was.
"Ruan Mei. Why did you hit me with that book?"
Mobius asked, rubbing the back of her head. Ruan Mei simply replied.
"it's because you are scaring the others. Look."
She gestured toward the other researchers in the lab. Mobius followed her gaze and noticed the terrified expressions on their faces, their fear amplified by her reputation in the lab.
Mobius shrugged, showing no concern. She didn't regard them as her equals—not like Ruan Mei.
"So, why are you here?"
Mobius asked, redirecting the conversation.
"Me? I was called to analyze the blood sample and the white carapace that were sent to this lab. And it seems you've already started,"
Ruan Mei replied, glancing at the equipment and samples Mobius was working on.
"Yeah, and I have to say, this is making my blood boil with excitement. I can't wait to figure out what's behind this blood and carapace,"
Mobius said, her eyes glinting with enthusiasm.
"Yes, yes,"
Ruan Mei muttered absently, her attention shifting to the report Mobius was writing.
She began reading the detailed analysis, her own excitement growing as she processed the findings. The report described phenomena unlike anything she had ever encountered. The potential discoveries hidden within the blood and the white carapace set her pulse racing.
Ruan Mei glanced at Mobius, her turquoise eyes narrowing slightly.
"You know, Mobius, with findings like these, we might be looking at something that rewrites our understanding of biology. Imagine the possibilities—genetic adaptations, enhanced resilience, maybe even new evolutionary pathways!"
Mobius smirked.
"That's exactly why this is so exhilarating. We're standing on the brink of uncovering secrets that could change everything."
The two shared a look of mutual understanding, their shared thirst for knowledge outweighing any other concerns. Their passion was palpable, and the atmosphere in the lab seemed to intensify with their resolve.
And the others in the lab had already left the moment Mobius relaxed slightly, not wanting to remain any longer for fear that something bad might happen if they stayed.
Unbeknownst to him, Masachika had just reeled in not one but two mad scientists.
Meanwhile, Masachika, who was in his room studying materials related to biology, molecules, and electromagnetism, suddenly sneezed.
"Achoo! Is someone talking about me?"
he muttered, wiping his nose before resuming his reading on the computer.
=====================
hello this is the Author here again, i want to know if i nail the Yuki and Ayano part again since this is a hard one for me. if so then tell me in the comment.
as for the Mobius and Ruan Mei, i know that Mobius is a Mad Scientist but i don't know if Ruan Mei is considered Mad Scientist but the fact that in her Star Rail Trailer she said that she want to be an Aeon already just sells to me about the fact that she is a Mad Scientist. so tell me if i'm wrong, as for their personalities please tell me if i got them wrong.
that's pretty much it from me, just like always thank you for Reading my Fanfic
