Chapter 2: Chapter 2
<
In Masachika's Stigmata Space, he lay on a fluffy bed. He suddenly felt the softness beneath him and realized he was indeed lying on a comfortable bed. Opening his eyes, he noticed he wasn't in the classroom with Alisa and the others, but in a completely different room.
When he saw this, he immediately recognized where he was. He was in the room from his previous life.
"why… am I?"
he muttered as he got out of bed. However, as he took his first step, he stumbled upon a mirror. He looked into it and saw that he was still Masachika Kuze but with silver-white hair and golden eyes.
When he sees this, he then tries to find something that is out of the ordinary, so he opens the window since he is in his previous life room so he knows that there is nothing that Is out of the ordinary. Sees the first thing he saw when he got out of that Darkness. It was the Cocoon of Finality
"so… it wasn't a dream, that I see that thing huh."
He can't believe it by this fact. He then dropped to bed again and started to think about what to do.
"shit, does that mean the World that I'm in right now will be fuck, and will enter a repetitive state if it fails to embrace it?"
Masachika said while biting his thumb. He read it in the wiki because he was interested in what a Cocoon of Finality is. And what he found is unbelievable, This thing is the Origin of Honkai and all of Herrscher. Every single one of Herrscher is just a mere Shadow of this thing. And what's more, it can even reset the entire world. And because of all those Reset, it created those things like Bubble Universe that fell into the Sea of Quanta.
As you may know from reading, this thing holds all of the Herrscher's Authority. Get it? This thing could do anything; even Time was on the list of things it could do. And from what I know, is that an Authority is a combination of both Law and Concept. This means that if someone holds Authority, they are holding the very Rules themselves.
Kevin Kaslana the Strongest Human stated that Herrschers are beings that need to be killed the moment they are born because they are too dangerous if they learn more about how their power works.
If they were to learn more then they alone could destroy any kind of civilization on their own, or even the World or the Universe, all by themselves need I mind you. Masachika then did some breathing exercises to try and calm himself down.
*inhale*
*exhale*
*Inhale*
*exhale*
"All alright let's all calm down right now. Let's be thankful that I'm in the world of Honkai Impact and not in the GGZ world where Outer Gods exist and the story there is much more depressing."
He said trying to calm himself down by saying it.
"that's where you are wrong master."
Masachika froze, startled by the voice. He quickly looked around the room, but there was no one there.
"who there?"
he called, scanning the room. He saw no one—just himself and the Cocoon outside the window. Then, something materialized inside the room.
A young woman appeared, tall with fair skin, a slender frame, and large breasts. Her waist-length white hair was tied into a French braid behind her head, and her purple eyes stood out. She wore a blue sleeveless maid dress with frilly shoulders and bottoms, a white crop top, a blue waist corset, and a white frilled apron around her waist. Her outfit was completed with white stockings, black ribboned pumps, and a maid headdress.
When Masachika saw her, he immediately recognized who she was. She resembled a character from one of the games he played in his previous life.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Belfast. And I have been created by my Creator to serve you, master."
"huh?"
When he heard that he was now completely lost by this sudden turn of events.
"I'm sorry. a What now? You are my new maid?"
"Yes, my Creator said that I have served you to the best of my being."
"ahh, right… I see. but can I ask you a question."
"Yes, master."
"can you tell me on where the hell am I right now? And why the hell is that the Cocoon of Finality is here?"
"right now we are in the Stigmata Space that the Cocoon made for you, Master. And as for why the Cocoon is in the Stigmata Space, is because it has integrated itself onto your soul master."
"huh?"
He was completely lost again.
'what do you mean by the Cocoon has now integrated itself into me?"
He asked himself in his mind because he couldn't process what he was hearing right now.
"umm, what does that mean right now?"
"First it means that you are now a one and only Herrscher of Finality master. And second, this is the only one of its kind master, and there are no more Cocoon of Finality."
"eh… ah…"
"Umm, is there something wrong master?"
Belfast said and leaned in to see if her new master was fine or not after hearing this. Masachika decided to raise his hand and said.
"you know what. fuck it, I give up on processing things. Since it will be going nowhere."
He said and completely decided to give up on processing and accept what is happening right now.
"I see, then is there any more you want to know master?"
"I want to ask, why did the Cocoon of Finality choose me as the Herrscher of Finality? Shouldn't there be someone out there more worthy of becoming the Herrscher of Finality?"
Masachika said as he knew that the only one who was worthy of that was Kiana Kaslana.
"That was because of Cocoon's decision, Master. Though it's because my Creator threatening them to accept you as the Herrscher of Finality."
"I-I see…"
Masachika was stunned by this revelation. Belfast's Creator had threatened the Cocoon. He couldn't decide whether to be impressed by the Creator's power or shocked by the sheer audacity.
He thought for a moment about his next question. This one was crucial, as it related to his identity.
"There's something I want to know. Belfast, what happened to the real Masachika Kuze, the body I'm occupying right now? And... am I Masachika Kuze or Vyn?"
Masachika asked about what happened to the real Masachika. He felt guilty for using his body without the original's knowledge. He was struggling to discern whether he was Masachika or Vyn, as he couldn't quite figure out who he was anymore.
Seeing this, Belfast smiled warmly and reassured him that there was nothing to worry about.
"Master, rest assured that there is nothing wrong right now."
"What do you mean there's nothing wrong?"
He said to Belfast confused by what Belfast said. Belfast then answers him.
"right now, you are Still Masachika Kuze."
"huh? Why do you mean?"
"it means that you are still Masachika Kuze."
Belfast which made Masachika still not understand the implication of what she just said. And Belfast who saw this then said.
"sorry Belfast but I still don't understand. So could you tell me why? Since from what I know, I have stayed in that Darkness for who knows how long."
"then I will tell you step by step Master."
Belfast said before setting up a whiteboard. Her maid outfit then transformed into a black woman's suit, which accentuated her curves. Masachika, though focused on the situation, couldn't help but think,
'Why the glasses?'
He silently wondered why she was wearing glasses, almost like she was about to give a lecture.
Belfast then began writing on the whiteboard while speaking.
She then started to write something in the White Board, while saying.
"But first, Master, there is something I must tell you. Every living being requires three essential components. The first is a vessel—a physical body that serves as a container. The second is a spiritual body, often called the soul, which animates the physical body. Lastly, there is the consciousness—sometimes referred to as the ego, heart core, or simply whatever a living being chooses to call it—which stores all the memories accumulated throughout their life. Even a fragment of a soul is enough to sustain the body's movement, as the soul can recover over time, creating a new consciousness in the process."She said as she wrote it down on the Whiteboard.
"I see, but that doesn't answer why I'm in that Darkness."
"As for that, Master, the soul and consciousness are always interconnected. When half of your soul entered the body named Masachika Kuze, as I mentioned earlier, the soul began to heal over time, forming a new consciousness and essentially becoming someone entirely different. However, because your personality and desires are deeply rooted in your soul, the boy named Masachika Kuze shares the same personality traits as you. That's why, when you examine the memories, you see yourself reflected in Masachika Kuze, Master."
She said as she finished writing on the Board which made Masachika who saw the Whiteboard and heard her explanation nod in understanding.
"umu, umu, continue."
"As for the other half of your soul, it wandered through the darkness until it stumbled upon a cocoon. My Creator eventually found it and brought it back to reunite with your other half. When your soul fully merged, your memories were completely restored. That is why you are still Masachika Kuze, although your personality has now shifted to align more closely with that of Vyn."
She finished the explanation and the writing. Her clothes then transformed back into the maid outfit she had worn, and the whiteboard disappeared as if it had never been there. Masachika, hearing this, was now certain that the being in white he saw when facing the Cocoon of Finality was Belfast's Creator. But most importantly, he now understood what was happening.
Above all, he felt immense relief from having received confirmation and answers from Belfast. He let out a sigh of relief and thanked her for her explanation.
"I see… Now that you told me that, that's a relief. Thank you, Belfast."
"anytime, master."
Masachika smiled at how humble she was. He then decided to ask her another question, as Belfast seemed capable of answering right now, so he figured he might as well make the most of it.
"Oh, right. Belfast, what happened to my body just now? I suddenly felt incredibly hot, as though I were melting from the inside. What exactly happened?"
"Master, that was because your body is rejecting the Honkai Energy and the Herrscher Core so strongly that it feels like you might melt from the heat."
"Ah, I see. That makes sense. So it's because of Honkai Corruption, huh?"
Masachika said, now understanding what had happened. He knew about Honkai Corruption—though he wasn't fully aware of its symptoms, he had seen people with pink circuitry lines and white carapace-like plates on their skin. What wasn't clear was what the victims felt.
Having experienced it, he now understood why those corrupted by Honkai were killed on sight. It was a mercy kill, releasing them from their pain and suffering. While he knew it wasn't ideal to kill them, it was better than allowing them to live in false hope, and it prevented the spread of corruption.
"yes, but because of my Creator's interference, your body is slowly but surely accepting the Honkai Energy and the Herrscher Core, and my Creator also adds some Ultraspeed Regeneration and Reactive Evolution in your body."
"ohh…"
Masachika was taken aback by this revelation. He began to wonder if Belfast's Creator had something to do with him in the past. The Creator's presence reminded him of someone, but he wasn't sure if it was the person he was thinking of. The person in question was one of his girlfriends, who always gave him a mysterious vibe that he had never been able to fully understand. The other girls also seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place where he had seen them before.
As the memories resurfaced, a forlorn expression crossed Masachika's face. He wished he could see the two women one last time before his untimely death. But it was too late—there was nothing he could do. All he could do now was move forward, leaving the past behind and focusing on the future.
"…Master… is something wrong?"
"Ah, no. I just remembered something from the past," he replied, trying to hide his emotions. Yet, he already knew that Belfast could see through his feelings. Even so, Belfast chose not to push him.
"If that's what you want, Master, then very well. But if there's anything you wish to share, please don't hesitate to let it out,"
"all right. Thank you, Belfast."
He was deeply grateful to whoever had created her.
After a few moments of silence, during which Masachika calmed himself, he recalled something about Herrschers and the destruction they brought.
"oh right! Belfast. Did my surroundings become a desolate place or ruin, when I awaken as a Herrscher?"
"Don't worry master. My Creator has prevented something like that from happening, so you can be reassured."
"I see, but what about me leaking Honkai Energy?"
"My Creator has also done something to make sure that you don't leak out Honkai Energy to the world unconsciously."
He releases a big sigh of relief and drops to the ground after hearing those two things.
"Now that's a huge relief. I guess I owe your Creator a big thank you."
"I will relay your gratitude to my Creator when I have the chance, Master,"
"thank you, Belfast. Well, I guess that's pretty much it."
A quiet moment followed, and Masachika felt a little awkward. Breaking the silence, he asked.
"Belfast there is something that I want to know, what do you mean that I'm wrong at the start of our meeting?
He asks because, at the start of their meeting, Belfast says that he's wrong. Then what was he wrong about? The Universe he's in or what?
"it's because of the thing you said, about you being in the Honkai Universe, and the GGZ universe."
"so right now I'm not in the Universe of Honkai. Is that what I'm wrong about?"
"yes, master."
"Now that's interesting."
"Just to inform you. Before you Stumble upon the Cocoon, the Cocoon was already in the process of trying to embrace another Earth."
"eh? is that so?"
he said, surprised. He hadn't expected the Cocoon to already be attempting to interact with the Honkai.
"Yes, and it is placed in the Honkai Universe where the Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quanta is."
"I see… then where are we now? Is this Universe a part of the Imaginary Tree?"
"No, Master. This Universe isn't connected to the Tree or the Sea."
"then how?"
"it's because it is located in Another Dimension or Plane of Reality Entirely."
When he heard that he was trying to process what he just heard.
"does that mean that it is in a Different Multiverse Entirely?"
"Yes, Master. that is right."
"I see… That's surprisingly straightforward."
This information was intriguing and useful. He then asked what happened to the Earth after the Cocoon transferred itself to him.
"so what happened after the Cocoon just moved itself into me?"
"The Earth and its inhabitants were shocked to find that the Honkai and Honkai Energy had disappeared entirely. Before the Cocoon integrated with your soul, it retrieved the Herrscher Cores from all the Herrschers. My Creator also dealt with Prometheus to ensure it wouldn't interfere with the Cocoon anymore."
"heeee, wait! If the Honkai Energy disappears then doesn't that mean that all of the Honkai Technology that they've used is now completely useless?"
"Yes, that's right."
"and the Herrscher?"
"The Cocoon take back the Herrscher Core."
Masachika fell silent. He didn't know how to react. Should he be happy that Earth was no longer at war with the Honkai? Or sad that the sacrifices of the Current Era and the Previous Era seemed almost meaningless? The thought of Kevin, who lost the love of his life to the Honkai and swore to exterminate it, weighed heavily on him. It felt akin to a relentless invader leaving abruptly after centuries of destruction.
He decided not to dwell on it. Thinking too much about it might make him an enemy in Kevin's eyes. Instead, he asked another question.
"umm, Belfast you said that this is my Stigmata Space, right? So how can you be here?"
He asks Belfast if this place is his Stigmata Space. Because this place is only accessible only to him, and the Stigmata Consciousness if there is any inside of him, he thought. No one could enter it unless they have the same Bloodline of the Stigmata he carries.
"That's because, as your maid, my Creator has granted me powers that surpass the Cocoon of Finality, including the ability to enter your Stigmata Space. No matter where you are—in the Stigmata Space, another universe, or even outside the Omniverse—I can be there whenever you call, Master."
"huh?"
He gawk at this.
"you know what? fuck it. I will accept that kind of Reasoning."
He said, deciding to just give up all reason, logic, and common sense since someone like that is devoid of such a thing, just like Belfast Creator. Though he has to say it kind of reminds him of someone who was like that in his past life, and it's of course the Girl that he thought of, and also the other girls too.
He chuckled as memories of his past life surfaced. The Creator's eccentricity reminded him of one of his past girlfriends and her amusing antics, as well as the other girls he had known. Unbeknownst to him, his thoughts made someone, somewhere, extremely happy yet equally embarrassed as they were reminded of their silly moments.
"I guess that will be all then."
"I see, then if you'll excuse me, Master. I will take my leave."
"yes, thank you, Belfast."
With that, she disappeared from his Stigmata Space, leaving him alone with the Cocoon of Finality. Masachika walked to the window and gazed at the Cocoon.
"I don't know why you have accepted me when you couldn't have chosen me. But let's help each other from now on all right?"
He said with an open heart. He doesn't know why but he could feel that the Cocoon was greeting him back. Smiling at this, he felt his body starting to turn transparent.
"I think it's about time I get back. So see you later."
He said and his consciousness dispersed from the space.
===================
In the hospital room, Masachika began to stir from his deep slumber. Slowly opening his golden eyes, he felt unusually refreshed. Sitting up on the bed, he glanced around the room. Everything seemed normal—no signs of destruction or chaos as he had feared might accompany his awakening as a Herrscher. Judging by the sterile surroundings and the faint hum of medical equipment, he realized he was in a hospital.
"ugh… how long… have I been asleep now?"
he murmured groggily, running a hand through his hair. His gaze fell on the window, revealing the night sky.
"I guess I got almost twenty hours of sleep."
he joked to himself, remembering how it was morning when he lost consciousness.
As he prepared to leave the bed, he noticed a gentle pressure on his hand. Looking down, he saw Alisa holding onto him, her head resting on the edge of his bed as she slept.
"I see… she staying here to accompany me,"
he said softly, a tender smile forming on his lips. He felt a warm gratitude toward her and decided to wake her, knowing it was late and she shouldn't be out this late alone.
He reached out, poking her cheek lightly.
"Alya. wake up."
Alisa stirred, frowning slightly at the disturbance. Slowly, she opened her eyes, rubbing them groggily.
"Kuze-kun…"
As her senses cleared, she realized he was awake and instantly straightened up, concern flashing across her face.
"Kuze-kun! Are you okay?! Is there anything wrong with your body right now?!"
She said with a worried look on her face and went near him to check on his body, to see if there was anything wrong with him. Once she confirmed he was truly all right, she let out a sigh of relief, placing a hand over her chest.
"*Sigh* Thank goodness… you're okay. Wait here—I'll get the doctor to check on you!"
Before he could say anything, Alisa hurried out of the room, leaving him alone. He lay back on the bed, staring at the ceiling, his thoughts swirling.
"I'm a Herrscher now, huh? But why? What does Belfast's creator want from me? Why go to such lengths to make me inherit the Cocoon of Finality?"
He said to the ceiling. And contemplating on why they made him a Herrscher. From what he knows from the memories, there is no Supernatural stuff like Magic, or anything the like. He wishes that Belfast was here to explain if there is something in this world that needs me to become a Herrscher.
"…Belfast…"
"did you call for me, Master?"
Belfast suddenly appears beside him which scares the living shit out of him.
"aaahhh!!"
He yelped and instinctively shifted to the side, only to tumble off the bed with a loud
"ow! my head!"
he groaned, rubbing the back of his head where it had hit the floor. Despite his transformation into a Herrscher, pain was still very much a part of his reality. His nerves hadn't magically disappeared just because he had changed.
"Master, are you okay?"
Belfast asked, her tone laced with concern as she knelt beside him to inspect his condition.
"It's very obvious from what it looks like right Belfast?"
He said and gave her a deadpan look at her since she was the one who scared him by appearing out of nowhere.
"Belfast, please don't appear out of nowhere. It's very bad for my heart."
He said to Belfast, that it was just to make sure that whenever Masachika called her name she didn't just appear behind him like she was a ghost.
"as you wish, Master,"
she replied with a graceful bow, her expression as calm as ever. Masachika let out a small sigh, nodding to himself before climbing back onto the bed. Settling down, he looked at her with a more serious expression.
"so, there is something I want to ask Belfast. Why did I become a Herrscher of Finality?"
"that's because-"
Masachika raised his hand and made Belfast stop what she was saying.
"If you're going to say it's a 'gift,' don't bother. What I want to know is why. Is there something about this world that I don't know? Something that requires me to become a Herrscher? Because from what I remember, there's no supernatural element here—no magic, no gods, nothing like that."
He said and interrupted Belfast's answer. He always believes in the Cause and Effect. And the fact that he was turned into a Herrscher must mean that there is something in this world or Universe.
"it's related to the Supernatural, Master."
Masachika frowned deeply, resting his chin on his hand as he mulled over her words.
"I knew it, so it's Devil, Angel, Fallen Angel, and the Gods right?"
"yes, Master."
He let out a heavy sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"*Sigh* is there anything more that I need to know other than this, Belfast?"
He said, he only hoped that it was only that because he doesn't want to deal with that right now since he is just newly born and hasn't gotten any kind of training on how to use his Herrscher Power.
"There is more, Master."
Masachika groaned audibly, running a hand through his hair in frustration.
"Great. Just great. We'll talk about the rest later. I can hear someone coming. You'd better go now."
"as you wish."
Belfast replied with a slight bow. In an instant, she vanished, leaving no trace of her presence behind, as if she had never been there at all.
A moment later, the door opened, and in came the doctor, followed closely by Alisa.
"Masachika Kuze-kun, right?"
"yes. doctor."
"I see you're awake. Are you experiencing any discomfort?"
"None at all, doctor. I feel incredibly refreshed like I've had a full 12 hours of sleep."
"Good. Let me conduct a quick check-up to confirm."
The doctor began his examination, but as he progressed, disbelief became apparent on his face. Masachika's vitals showed no abnormalities, leaving the doctor puzzled. Given the severity of what he had observed earlier that morning, the current results seemed almost impossible.
Even Alisa, standing quietly at the side, struggled to believe what she was witnessing. She had stayed by Masachika's side throughout the ordeal and seen how dire his condition had been.
Unbeknownst to either of them, Masachika had been in his Stigmata Space during his unconscious state and was oblivious to what had transpired externally. While he knew he had been afflicted by Honkai Corruption, he lacked specific details about the suffering he had endured, as such information wasn't even documented in the records.
The doctor, gathering himself, began explaining the events to Masachika.
"Earlier, your body temperature surpassed 40 degrees Celsius, continuing to climb until it exceeded 50 degrees. While unconscious, you were grunting in apparent agony, and steam was visibly rising from your body. Your skin turned pale white, a white carapace formed in certain areas, and pink circuits appeared across your body. Additionally, there was a purple four-pointed star on your upper back."
The doctor paused, his confusion evident.
"Frankly, I've never seen a condition like this before. We took samples of your blood and the white carapace to run tests at the lab. We're still waiting for the results to determine what kind of illness you may have contracted."
Masachika listened intently, offering a faint, wry smile. He already knew the "condition" wasn't an illness but rather a manifestation of his transformation into a Herrscher. What caught his attention, however, was the mention of the purple four-pointed star. He surmised it was likely his Stigmata.
When no further symptoms were presented, the doctor concluded that Masachika was in perfect health. He was discharged from the hospital with a word of caution to rest and take care of himself to prevent any recurrence of the mysterious episode.
Masachika changed back into his uniform and prepared to leave. As he walked out of the hospital, Alisa accompanied him. Concerned for her safety, he decided to escort her home, reasoning that it was too dangerous for a young girl like her to walk alone so late at night.
"Hey, Kuze-kun… are you okay?"
Alisa asked softly, her worried gaze fixed on him.
"I told you, I'm fine, Alya. Didn't the doctor say so too?"
"But this morning… you scared me. You kept grunting like you were in unbearable pain."
Her expression was filled with genuine concern, and Masachika felt a pang in his heart. He couldn't reveal the truth about the Honkai Energy or that he was no longer fully human. Still, her care warmed him, and he offered her a reassuring smile.
"I'll say it again, Alya. I'm fine. The doctor confirmed it. You don't have to worry anymore."
Seeing his smile and hearing his confident tone, Alisa reluctantly nodded.
"alright…"
"good. And also thank you for worrying me, Alya."
Alisa's cheeks flushed at his sincere gratitude. As he smiled at her with his now slightly altered appearance, she quickly turned her head away, hoping to hide her reddened face.
Masachika noticed her reaction and chuckled softly to himself, finding her bashful demeanor endearing.
While they were walking Masachika then decided to ask her.
"so… is this your first time Skipping school right Alya?"
Masachika said, noticing that Alisa was usually diligent about attending every class and never seemed to skip school.
Alisa, who had finally calmed down, responded with a nod.
"Yes, that's right."
"I see, sorry."
"don't worry. I already told the teacher and everyone I would be accompanying you to the hospital. So it's fine."
When he heard that, now he was sorry for making her skip school.
"Once again, sorry."
He said, bringing his hands together in an exaggerated apology.
"I told you don't worry."
She reassured him with a smile.
In a softer voice, her cheeks slightly flushed, Alisa muttered something in Russian.
[I did this because I was concerned about you. Otherwise, I might not have done that.]
Masachika, caught off guard by her sudden confession, felt a warmth spread across his face. Her words, unexpected and sincere, left him momentarily flustered.
After a few minutes of walking in silence they then finally where Alisa lived.
"I will be going home now, Alya."
"Mm, yes. See you later, Kuze-kun. Take it easy and follow what the doctor said, all right?"
"All right, alright. Well, see you later, too, Alya."
Masachika smiled and watched as Alisa entered the building. He then turned away, heading toward his apartment. While walking, he took a deep breath, preparing himself, and called out to Belfast.
"Belfast."
"yes, master."
"let's continue where we left off, while we walk to the apartment."
"yes, master. There are more than just the Devil, Angel, Fallen Angel, and Gods. There is also a Demon, and Hero, Master."
Masachika couldn't help but groan, rubbing his temple in frustration.
"*Groan* so annoying. I'm just a newly born Herrshcer and don't have time to deal with this kind of crap."
His voice carried irritation, but he also couldn't shake the thought of whoever these beings were. He hoped they wouldn't target anyone he cared about, or they'd regret it. If they were immortal, he'd enjoy using them as guinea pigs for his future experiments.
Eventually, he arrived at his apartment building and stopped in front of his door. That's when he noticed something unusual: several boxes were piled up beside his door. He assumed someone had recently moved in, but it didn't concern him much.
As he reached for the door handle, he glanced at Belfast.
"Belfast, can you turn invisible?"
"Yes, Master. I can."
"Then do it now. I have a feeling someone's in my apartment."
"Understood, Master."
Belfast turned invisible, leaving Masachika to glance back at his door before stepping inside. The moment he entered his home, someone suddenly tackled him with great force, knocking him backward.
"Ugh!"
"Brother, are you okay? Is there something wrong that you got hospitalized?"
"ugh. Yuki. Can you please let go right now?"
"Ugh!"
"Brother, are you okay? Is there something wrong that you got hospitalized?"
Masachika, groaning, looked down to see a young girl clinging to him. She had an entrancing figure, a blend of delicate beauty and refined elegance. Her long, lustrous black hair flowed gracefully to her waist, and her petite, well-proportioned frame only added to her allure. The violet hue of her eyes further enhanced her charm.
Her name was Yuki Suou.
But why was she calling him "Brother"? The answer was simple: they were blood-related. Her family name had recently changed, but the bond between them was clear.
"Ugh... Yuki, can you please let go now?"
"But I need to know if you are okay."
"by lunging at you're brother first thing when he got home from the hospital? I'm afraid not."
"Yes, now. Let me check your body to see if you are okay!"
"No! This is sexual harassment!"
Masachika said as he tried to push Yuki away from him, but Yuki pushed herself to Masachika. The two continued until they were both tired.
"*Huff* *Huff* let me change my clothes first. *huff*"
"yeah, *huff* then I will wait in the living room."
Yuki said, stepping back and heading to the living room, with Masachika following her inside. He quickly closed the door behind them, relieved that no one had seen their little... scene. After a minute of changing clothes, Masachika walked into the living room, where he found Yuki already seated on the couch.
"come on, dear brother. Sit down and explain to us what happened this morning. And also why are your hair and eyes like that."
"yeah, yeah. Calm down will you."
Masachika took a seat on the couch. A moment later, a cup of tea was placed on the table in front of him. He looked up, only to find it wasn't Belfast who had served him but a young girl with long black hair and dark brown eyes, wearing a maid outfit. It was Ayano Kimishima.
Ayano is currently wearing a maid outfit. When he sees this he pretty much knows that Ayano will get along with Belfast very well, since the two are maids.
"Please, enjoy the tea, Masachika-sama"
"thank you, Ayano."
"come on, I'm waiting Dear brother."
"Alright, alright, geez."
Masachika sighed and began to explain everything to Yuki and Ayano, leaving out the fact that he was no longer human. He told them what the doctor had said about his condition and the symptoms he'd gone through.
After he finished explaining, Yuki seemed deep in thought for a moment before she asked another question.
"I see, I see. And, did you feel like you got some kind of power?"
"huh?"
Masachika blinked, not sure whether to be impressed or concerned by Yuki's insight. She had hit the nail on the head without him saying a word.
"Why do you say that, Sister?"
"Hehe, don't you know, Brother? Everything you just described sounds like what happens to protagonists in light novels or fanfics when they gain some kind of supernatural power."
"That's true, but you know this is real life, not fiction. If it were fiction, I'd probably believe you."
"It doesn't matter if it's fiction or not, Brother. The fact that it happened to you in real life means you've got something, right? Now come on, show me what kind of power you have!"
Yuki continued to counter everything Masachika said, pushing him further into a corner. Masachika, at a loss, glanced at Ayano for help.
"kuh! Ayano, please calm down your master right now!"
"I'm sorry, Masachika-sama,"
Ayano replied, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"But I'm also interested in what Yuki-sama said."
Masachika, seeing no escape, felt hopeless. Well, there was one person he could ask for help—Belfast—but he couldn't say that right now. Neither Yuki nor Ayano knew who she was or why she was his maid.
"…"
"the fact that you keep quiet, means that what I said is true! Now out with will you!"
Yuki crossed her arms, wearing a smug smile, clearly confident she had hit the mark.
"tch! fine! You win!"
"yatta! So so! What is it?"
Yuki leaned in closer, her face mere inches from his, eagerly awaiting his answer. Masachika pushed her back slightly, feeling uncomfortable with the proximity.
"calm down! Geez, I will tell you so calm down will you?"
"All alright, alright. I will calm down now. So what is it?
"I was just a newly born Herrscher."
Masachika decided to give in, figuring it was only a matter of time before he'd tell her anyway. He also realized he'd need to explain things to others, like Alisa or Yuki, in the future. He was planning to bestow a Herrscher Core or Stigmata to someone he cared about to protect them from the supernatural side.
If there were no Supernatural and Extraordinary side, he would have to go about his every day in a peaceful day drowning In laziness and sometimes he would go on an adventure in another world.
But after knowing they exist, he decides to make a plan to put them down all in their place, especially the Devil, and those Arragont Gods. he doesn't want anything to bother him and those around him, especially the Devil since they have a track record with the Stray Devil, running around in the World.
If they don't behave then he's fine to do a public execution, to let them know what happens when you mess with him. he doesn't care if the people call him a tyrant, all he wants is no one mess with anything or anyone that he cares for.
"Hm? A Herrscher?"
"Yes, I'm no longer human. I'm a Herrscher now."
"I knew it! So, what can you do as a Herrscher, dear brother? Come on, tell me! Tell me!"
She leaned forward, practically on top of him, her face inches away.
"I already told you to calm down! Geez, I'll tell you in a bit."
He turned toward the other maid.
"Belfast."
"yes, Master."
He said and Belfast suddenly appeared behind him. The two who witnessed this were stunned, unable to believe someone had just appeared out of thin air.
"!!"
"Can you make sure no one is listening to what we're about to talk about?"
Masachika's voice was serious, even though there was no one else around. He couldn't shake his paranoia—he didn't want anyone, especially the government, eavesdropping on their conversation. The thought of them experimenting on him made his blood run cold.
"let me check, Master."
Belfast closed her eyes, extending her senses to ensure no one could overhear their conversation.
"B-B-Brother! Who is that maid right now?!"
Yuki said while pointing at Belfast who is currently searching if someone is hearing what they're gonna talk about.
"Masachika-sama who is that maid?"
Ayano asked, her eyes sparkling even brighter than when she was curious about Masachika's power. Masachika sighed, already knowing what was coming.
"*Sigh* she is my new maid. Her name is Belfast."
Belfast opened her eyes and turned to Masachika.
"There's no one who will be able to listen to what we're about to discuss, Master. And it's a pleasure to meet you, Yuki-sama, Ayano-san."
She gracefully pinched the hem of her skirt and gave a polite bow to both Yuki and Ayano. The refined way she introduced herself and her conduct immediately convinced Ayano to consider asking her to be her mentor.
"y-yes, Nice to meet you Belfast. I'm Yuki Suou, and this is."
Yuki trailed off as Ayano lifted her skirt slightly, giving a formal introduction of her own.
"I'm Ayano Kimishima. It's a pleasure to meet you, Belfast-san."
"Hehe, nice to meet you as well, Yuki-sama, Ayano-san."
Belfast gave a warm smile, and both women couldn't help but feel a motherly aura radiating from her.
"All right then, Since Belfast confirmed that no one will be listening to what we're about to discuss, I'll explain what a Herrscher is."
At those words, both Yuki and Ayano's attention sharpened, eager to hear what Masachika was about to reveal.
