Pokemon: This Trainer is Too Cautious!

Chapter 75: Chapter 75: The Small Grove

After a night of rest by the hot springs, Ace and Cynthia, clean and refreshed, set off again, heading towards the summit of Mount Silver.

The cold wind howled. Cynthia tightened her trench coat, then looked at Ace, who was only wearing a short-sleeved shirt amidst the fierce wind, and couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you cold?"

Ace smiled and shook his head at Cynthia.

Having had his physical fitness strengthened so many times, a mere drop in temperature was harmless to Ace.

Of course, if they reached the snowy parts at the summit, Ace would probably change into thicker clothes.

After all, he was just physically stronger, not impervious to fire and water.

"Another turbulent weather pattern. Flying-type Pokémon are out of the question. What's the plan for today?"

Cynthia opened a Poké Ball, and Riolu landed beside her.

The temperature was a bit low, which wasn't ideal for her Grass-type Roselia and Dragon-type Gible.

"Let's look for Miltank," Ace said to Cynthia, his eyes scanning their surroundings. "I want to catch a Miltank."

"Miltank? You mean Moomoo Milk?!"

Cynthia's eyes immediately lit up, instantly understanding Ace's meaning.

They had been training here for so long, constantly exposed to the elements, and over time, their nutrition was starting to fall behind.

Even Cynthia, after only five days of training, could distinctly feel that she had lost a lot of weight, her belt having loosened a whole notch.

Ace and Cynthia were still just kids, in their growth spurts, so their nutritional needs were quite high.

Although Ace tried his best to gather ingredients and rely on Pokémon food to supplement the necessary nutrients for their bodies, the high-intensity consumption during training still felt like a deficit.

Just then, he discovered that Johto region Pokémon were appearing here, and Ace immediately decided to catch a Miltank.

Miltank's Moomoo Milk was currently known as the most nutritious Pokémon food.

It was rich in nutrients and high in calories, especially suitable for high-intensity training like theirs.

Cynthia was also very clear about this, so when Ace mentioned Miltank, she immediately thought of Moomoo Milk.

And from Moomoo Milk, she also thought of her favorite food: ice cream!

"Alright, our goal is to find Miltank!"

Cynthia quietly swallowed, her fighting spirit instantly ignited.

Ace looked at Cynthia, who had suddenly "ignited," and held back the rest of his words.

Miltank's milk was nutritious, so it was naturally extensively farmed. Finding a wild Miltank in the wild was naturally difficult.

Ace although he said he wanted to catch a Miltank, he also knew how low the probability of encountering a wild Miltank was.

He just wanted to try his luck, but he didn't expect Cynthia to take it seriously, instantly igniting her fighting spirit and single-mindedly beginning to search for Miltank's tracks.

However, Ace was quite relaxed about it, thinking it was great if they found one, and fine if they didn't.

Along the way, he also selected some suitable wild Pokémon as opponents, specifically training his Pokémon, and didn't spend all his time just looking for Miltank.

However, whether it was Ace's good luck or the world just favoring Cynthia, the future Champion, after a morning of searching, Ace and Cynthia found a slightly flat clearing and began to eat lunch.

As they were feeding their Pokémon, a herd of Miltank emerged from the bushes not far away!

Ace stared at the Miltank, dumbfounded, then looked at the excited Cynthia.

"This luck is unparalleled."

Ace smiled, then stood up and nodded at Golbat. Golbat flapped its wings and landed on Ace's arm.

Cynthia, meanwhile, told Dragonair to follow, as she wanted to catch a Miltank too!

But just as the two approached the Miltank, who hadn't even noticed Ace and Cynthia, a series of rumbling sounds came from the other side.

Ace turned his head and his pupils instantly contracted. Without a word, he grabbed Cynthia and retreated to the side.

The Pokémon who were still eating lunch also immediately grabbed their food bowls and scurried away once they realized what was happening.

Cynthia stumbled as Ace pulled her. When she turned back, she saw a large group of Tauros also running towards the clearing.

The two types of bovine Pokémon quickly converged. The Miltank remained aloof, while the arriving Tauros, as if pumped with adrenaline, began to fight among themselves.

"Bang bang bang…"

For a moment, the Tauros in the entire clearing began to wrestle, using their horns to compete in strength.

Soon, one Tauros consecutively defeated three opponents, standing out from the herd.

Then, this Tauros proudly walked towards a Miltank, and soon they were exchanging coy glances.

And then, the two bovine Pokémon disappeared into the nearby small grove.

"…Is this a matchmaking convention?"

Ace's mouth twitched, and he instantly understood why their luck had been so good.

"Ace, what are that Tauros and Miltank doing in the small grove?"

Cynthia, the curious little one, looked towards the small grove, appearing very eager for knowledge.

"Ahem, never mind them. Looking at the situation, the Miltank and Tauros probably won't be done anytime soon. We'll wait for them to finish before trying to catch a Miltank… Where did she go?!"

Ace cleared his throat, glancing at the now bustling clearing. This was definitely not the time to catch a Miltank.

But when Ace turned back, he found that Cynthia had disappeared.

As he looked around, he finally spotted Cynthia secretly making her way towards the small grove, like a thief, trying not to make too much noise.

"Don't!"

Ace felt a wave of helplessness. As a transmigrator, he naturally knew more than this little kid, Cynthia.

Cynthia was currently in a muddled and ignorant state, where she knew there was a difference between boys and girls, but why that difference existed, she still wasn't quite clear.

Suddenly exposing her to that kind of knowledge seemed a bit too early for her.

However, although Ace wanted to stop Cynthia, she had already reached the edge of the small grove and peeked inside.

Ace's outstretched hand slowly fell, and he sighed helplessly, lamenting in his heart that a pure little lily had just been sullied.

"Ace, what is that Tauros doing, lying on top of the Miltank?"

It turned out Ace had overthought it. For Cynthia, the scene was several levels too advanced, like trying to teach calculus to someone who had just learned addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. If she could understand it, that would be truly astonishing.

So, the muddled and ignorant Cynthia turned to Ace, seeking outside help.

"…"

"What's that stick-like thing?"

"…"

"And what's all that moving back and forth about?"

"…"

"Aren't you going to say something?"

"…"
