Overlord: Ancient one

After finishing his conversation with Rory, Arthur decided it was time to pay a visit to the Occult Research Club. He was curious to see how Rias was handling her new pawn, Issei, now that the young man had been successfully reincarnated as a devil.

Walking through the corridors of the old school building, Arthur couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia or irony, he couldn't quite put his hand on what he was currently feeling. But he was happy, that's for sure. 

It wasn't often that he found himself in the middle of human institutions like this, but there was something refreshing about the simplicity of it all.

In all these years, after the war with the players, Arthur doesn't have a specific job. Arthur's main job was just to fool around with girls, you can even say he is the biggest playboy in the world and of all time.

Even though his main job is to fool around with girls and even cause mischief in the different pantheon of gods, he has an important duty, which he has been doing from the moment he reincarnated billions of people from the war to the heart of Yggdrasil. A duty so important if he doesn't do it, the whole world will be destroyed leaving only dimensional gap—the home of Great Red and Ouroboros dragon—and Chaos—the place where the primordial god originated from.

His job is to regulate the flow of soul between this world and Yggdrasil. As Yggdrasil has many worlds—currently around 26,000 leaves, which means approximately 26 universes or more than 16 million habitable worlds—and due to this world being at the bottom of Yggdrasil, sometimes souls are transported to this world.

—since this world was supposed to be sacrificed in order for the heart of Yggdrasil to become complete but Arthur prevented it and terraformed this world into DxD, the soul transfer between the worlds is one of the side effects of that—

These souls vary greatly in nature and origin. Some belong to great conquerors, ruthless murderers who have claimed millions of lives, or powerful rulers who have governed multiple worlds. If such potent beings were to reincarnate here unchecked, they could pose a significant threat to the balance and stability of this universe.

To prevent potential disasters, Arthur assesses each soul that crosses into this world, determining their nature and past deeds. Based on his judgment, he administers appropriate rewards or punishments.

If it murders or other such beings who committed horrible crimes, then Arthur will put them on the seventh floor of Nazarick—Demiurge is the guardian and Antares is the co-guardian—where they will torture for eternity, because it is Demiurge's domain, he more than happy to do so. Because of that seventh floor has become a floor, which contains worse of the worst criminals. 

If it's a good person, who crossed over then according to their good karma, he will reward them.

He also has a job of destroying worlds, even the universe, if that world or universe badly affects the rest of the worlds in Yggdrasil. So far he has destroyed around 5,000 worlds.

Some might ask, even with all this, why the whole world—DXD world—calls him the weakest.

This perception stems from his ability to foresee future threats and eliminate them before they can fully manifest. He often deals with potential dangers in their infancy, eradicating threats when they are still relatively weak.

To those who don't understand his foresight, it appears as though Arthur only targets weaker beings, earning him the reputation of being 'weak.'

And he only showed his Incubus form to rest of the world.

Thus Arthur is called weak (Among the strong, mind you), who hunts the weakest, but has the strongest and most loyal subordinates.

Only one who knows he is strong, other his subordinates, is Great Red and Ouroboros as he was there when they come to existence. And he was the one, who gave them their first fight.

And some of his lovers from different factions.

Anyway back to present.

Arthur pushed open the door to the clubroom without knocking, his presence immediately drawing the attention of everyone inside.

By everyone, he means Rias and Akeno. As rest has to join the morning class.

The room was dimly lit, with a heavy, almost gothic atmosphere. A large desk sat at one end, covered in various occult books and paraphernalia. The walls were adorned with mystical symbols and artwork that reflected the club's supernatural focus. Rias was seated behind the desk, her crimson hair flowing over her shoulders like a waterfall of fire. She looked up as Arthur entered, her blue-green eyes narrowing slightly with curiosity.

"Arthur," she greeted, her voice calm but tinged with surprise. "I wasn't expecting to see you here so soon."

"I saw Issei on my way, it's seems you have successfully convert him to devil." Arthur said.

"Yes, thought I am still in skeptical as it was a right move." Rias said with a sigh.

"Why?" Arthur said, as he said down on the sofa.

"It's true that her possess, boosted gear, which can gives issei the potential to become the stronger but he is too perverted." Rias said.

Hearing that, Arthur looked Rias.

Girl, he was your husband in original world. Now you are complaining about it.

"Oh, don't worry about that, he will become stronge with that perverted personality." Arthur said.

But he won't able to squeeze your boobs to become stronger. Arthur thought to himself.

Then Arthur continue, "It's seems issei doesn't know that he has become a devil, right. "

"Yes, I haven't told him, but I am planing to call him on lunch break or after school ends." Rias said.

Just then, Akeno at me with tea on her hand and placed it on the desk.
