One Piece: Take the Uchiha Clan to the Grand Line

Chapter 209: Join Me

— — — — —

"Get ready for this move—it's no joke!"

"Tempest Kick: Firebird!!"

Uchiha Kitaro swung his leg upward, and a massive flaming bird erupted, speeding straight toward Guy.

"The Sixth Gate! Gate of View—OPEN!!!"

With a thunderous roar, Guy activated the sixth of the Eight Gates, the Gate of View.

"Morning Peacock (Asakujaku)!!!"

Guy unleashed a barrage of high-speed punches, the friction between his fists and the air generating fiery shockwaves. These waves collided with the flaming bird like a peacock spreading its feathers.

BOOM!!!

The two immense forces clashed, creating an explosive shockwave that rippled through the battlefield.

"Finger Pistol!!"

Kitaro pointed at Guy, firing a high-pressure air bullet.

Guy quickly raised his arms to block the attack.

Bang!

The impact sent Guy skidding backward, his feet carving deep grooves into the ground. His arms bore the brunt, with a bullet-like dent on one. Blood trickled from the wound, but it was just a surface injury—not deep enough to hit bone.

"This is the Six Powers, a special martial art I learned. Honestly, the moment I mastered it, I thought of you, Guy. These techniques seem perfect for you since not many can handle them."

Guy's heart swelled at the unexpected praise.

"That was just a warm-up. Now, let's get serious."

"More?!"

Both Kakashi and Guy were taken aback.

Kitaro's arms began to darken as he coated them with Armament Haki. His arms turned jet black with an otherworldly sheen.

Whoosh!

Kitaro appeared right in front of Guy in the blink of an eye, his fist hurtling forward.

Guy clenched his own fist and met the attack head-on.

Bang!!

Their punches collided, but the result was clear.

"Arghhh!!!"

Guy was sent flying, clutching his fist and yelling in pain.

"So hard! Damn, that hurts! What the hell is that?!"

"This is Armament Haki. It hardens your body to make it as tough as steel. It boosts both offense and defense, making you impervious to most weapons. It's far superior to chakra. Some skilled users can coat their entire body with it, rendering even advanced ninjutsu ineffective. Honestly, it's perfect for someone like you who relies on taijutsu."

Kakashi's expression shifted. He understood how valuable such power could be in battle, especially for a taijutsu specialist like Guy.

"Incredible!!"

"But wait, there's more—Observation Haki."

Kitaro turned to face Shisui, who raised his right fist, catching on to Kitaro's intent.

"Right fist!"

Shisui switched to lifting his right leg.

"Right leg!"

No matter how Shisui changed his stance, Kitaro called out each move accurately, as if he had eyes on the back of his head.

Guy and Kakashi were left speechless. It had only been a year and a half since they last saw Kitaro, but now he seemed like an entirely different person.

Guy stammered, pointing at Kitaro in disbelief. "You—you—how are you doing this? Do you have eyes on the back of your head?!"

Kitaro chuckled. "Nope. This is Observation Haki. It lets me sense an opponent's moves by reading their unique life energy. With enough focus, it reduces the chances of being ambushed. The truly skilled can even foresee the future."

"That's… impossible!"

"Kitaro, where the hell did you go? What the hell did you experience to learn all this?!"

Guy's heart raced as he thought about the possibilities. These techniques were perfect for him and could massively increase his strength.

Closing the Gate of View, Guy sighed. He could open the Gate of Wonder and even the Gate of Death, but doing so caused excruciating pain—or worse. The Sixth Gate was more than enough for a sparring match.

The Eighth Gate was a death sentence, reserved only for the direst situations.

"I can't say much about where I've been, but trust me—it's more incredible than you can imagine. Kakashi, Guy, you're my brothers. I want you to join me in this."

"What?!"

Both Kakashi and Guy's faces changed at his sudden proposal.

"For every light in Konoha, there's an equal darkness. Kakashi, you've seen it firsthand."

Guy, being a straightforward ninja, only knew the basics of Konoha's missions. But Kakashi had been part of the Anbu and knew the village's dark secrets.

"I'm not asking you to betray Konoha, and I haven't betrayed it either. I left with the Uchiha clan to prevent a coup and save the village from a bloodbath. Konoha is still my home, and I promised the Fourth Hokage I'd never betray it unless absolutely necessary.

"But you've seen how Konoha treated me and the Uchiha clan. After the Nine-Tails attack, rumors spread that I was behind it."

Kitaro let out a bitter laugh. "Ridiculous. If I wanted to destroy Konoha, I wouldn't need the Nine-Tails.

"The higher-ups knew it wasn't me. They stationed over twenty Anbu members around my house to monitor me. The Third Hokage even forbade me from stepping outside. The Uchiha clan was kept busy escorting villagers and banned from joining the fight.

"In the end, Minato-san and Kushina-san gave their lives to protect the village. Their only surviving family is their son, Naruto. And how did the Third treat him? Like trash. What would Minato-sensei and Kushina-san think if they saw this?"

Kitaro's voice grew heavier. "I care deeply for Konoha, but the higher-ups? I have no respect for them. The Will of Fire has been twisted into a tool for control.

"So, what do you say? Join me!"
