One Piece: Starting with Sign-in Naruto Character Cards

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: It's Poisonous

"Eight Gates Released Formation—Third Gate, Gate of Life, Open!"

With that silent chant, Rikuya's entire body turned red as blood rushed through his veins. His speed and strength were boosted even further.

Seeing Rikuya's transformation, Hannyabal gulped and gripped his trident tightly, preparing for the fierce battle ahead.

"It's game over! Hidden Lotus!" Rikuya roared.

The next second, Hannyabal saw only a blur—a mysterious force flashed past his eyes. Before he could react, Rikuya's fist smashed upward into his chin.

Hannyabal shot into the air like a rocket, his face contorted grotesquely.

But it wasn't over yet. As Hannyabal was still airborne, Rikuya bent his legs and launched himself up like a spring.

Reaching Hannyabal mid-air, Rikuya raised his right leg—and slammed it down viciously.

BOOM!

Hannyabal was kicked straight into the ground, crashing down at such speed that the floor split apart from the impact.

Ding! Congratulations, Host, for defeating the enemy. You've earned 15,000 Reputation Points.

As the system's voice rang out, Rikuya knew Hannyabal wouldn't be getting back up.

Meanwhile, watching from the surveillance feed, Magellan let out a long sigh. He stood up, adjusted his black suit, and calmly walked out of his office.

With Hannyabal defeated, the third-floor prison guards completely collapsed.

Most of them were beaten to death by the furious prisoners.

The floor was now littered with bodies on both sides.

The riotous mob, high on adrenaline, surged forward toward Level 4 of Impel Down!

Level 4—Blazing Hell—was one of the most critical floors in all of Impel Down. Not only was Magellan's office located here, but also the kitchens and food storage. The entire level was sweltering with heat.

At the center of this floor was a massive blood pool, like a huge iron cauldron bubbling with flames.

But as Rikuya reached the entrance of the fourth floor, he suddenly saw countless prisoners lying motionless on the ground.

At the same time, the air on the fourth floor was filled with a thick, deep purple gas.

Seeing this, Rikuya immediately retreated back to the third floor.

It was clear—this was one of the techniques from Magellan's Doku Doku no Mi, the Venom-Venom Fruit!

Magellan's Paramecia-type Devil Fruit allowed him to produce a variety of deadly toxins from any part of his body—sweat, saliva, breath, even sighs were laced with poisonous gas.

These toxins could cause paralysis, pain, hallucinations, or even death. His venom was so corrosive it could melt solid rock.

And once poisoned, a person required Magellan's own antidote to survive. However, the side effect of frequent use was chronic diarrhea.

This fearsome power was precisely why Magellan had been able to hold down the entire Impel Down facility and suppress countless legendary pirates.

"Haha! Kid, no matter how strong your attacks are, you'll never overcome my poison!"

Magellan bellowed with laughter as he saw Rikuya flee in panic.

Back on Level 3, Rikuya wasted no time and immediately opened the system shop to search for a solution.

He knew that defeating Magellan required neutralizing his poison first. His Might Guy character card was no longer enough.

The first person that came to Rikuya's mind was the so-called "demigod" Hanzō the Salamander!

Hanzō had the ability to release poisonous gas with every breath. Because of this, he wore a respiratory mask to prevent accidental poisoning.

But even Hanzō's abilities wouldn't be enough. Magellan's poison could invade through direct contact, making it far more dangerous.

Just then, Rikuya heard footsteps approaching the stairs from Level 4.

That could only mean one thing: someone had survived and was coming down to Level 3.

Rikuya began to feel nervous—until something caught his eye in the system shop.

He had just discovered a new character card: Sasori of the Akatsuki, the master of puppets!

Most characters could still be poisoned, but a puppet had no organs or bloodstream, so even if poison entered, it would have no effect!

But then he looked at the cost:

Sasori (Character Card) – Requires 50,000 Reputation Points.

Rikuya cursed under his breath, "Damn scammer system!"

Still, this sparked a new idea.

The world of Naruto had more than one master puppeteer!

Just as he thought that, another character came into view:

Chiyo-ba (Character Card)

Cost: 30,000 Reputation Points.

Likely due to her old age, Chiyo's cost was much lower than Sasori's.

Rikuya quickly checked his own stats—after defeating Saldeath, Hannyabal, and other elite guards, he had just over 30,000 reputation points!

Without hesitation, he chose to redeem the card.

Ding! Character Card "Chiyo-ba" successfully redeemed. 30,000 Reputation Points deducted.

Just as the exchange completed, Magellan arrived on Level 3.

"Still resisting, boy? You'll die a horrible death soon enough," Magellan said, stepping toward Rikuya.

His entire body was now cloaked in thick, deep purple poison gas.
