With the Door-Door Fruit, Bege could open doors on any surface—walls, floors, even thin air. Stepping through a door instantly transported him to another location, including their first target's stronghold, located tens of thousands of nautical miles away. Such a feat would take Karl over half an hour to cover, even with his flight abilities. Bege achieved it in seconds by simply opening a door.

However, long-distance travel drained Bege's stamina. After extensive experimentation, he was already exhausted.

"This ability is incredible!" Karl marveled. "In large-scale battles, you could lead a strike force directly into the enemy's rear. Properly developed, this power surpasses even teleportation!"

Inspired, Karl helped Bege brainstorm ways to enhance the Fruit's potential. Fully mastered, the Door-Door Fruit could serve as a powerful control skill, granting dominance over space and unparalleled escape routes. Upon awakening, it might even transform entire areas into doors, allowing Bege to drop enemies into the deep sea or a volcano—wherever his imagination led.

Moved by Karl's guidance, Bege shed tears of gratitude, almost kneeling to express his thanks. Karl also briefed him on the shadowy underworld, preparing him for its complexities. With Bege's talents, entering that dark world was no issue; all he lacked was a guide. Karl planned to have Kuro lead Bege into the underground, envisioning their partnership as a rival to Doflamingo.

Between the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Door-Door Fruit, Doflamingo would be outclassed entirely. With their combined intellect, Kuro and Bege posed a formidable threat.

Karl could hardly wait to see what kind of synergy the two would develop.

As the day progressed, Karl's teaching continued until dusk. Placing a hand on Bege's shoulder, he smiled warmly.
