Chapter 223: Chapter 223
Koala, left alone in the sauna, blinked in confusion as she glanced around. She tightened her towel, perplexed. "What's going on? Why did everyone leave so suddenly?"
She looked over at Ain and Hancock, who were both avoiding her gaze, their expressions tinged with embarrassment. They mumbled something vague before quickly exiting, leaving Koala even more puzzled.
Alone now, curiosity got the better of her, and she decided to follow. She crept down the hall and peeked into the open massage room door. Before she could step inside, she overheard Kujaku's voice echoing within, questioning Olivia in a tone dripping with betrayal.
Hina, Nami, and Kalifa were also inside, each adding their own condemnations, while Luffy's voice mumbled pitiful apologies. Leaning against the door frame, Koala's eyes widened as she took in the scene.
Her face flushed a deep red as she gasped, pulling back from the door. Did I… did I just see Luffy and Olivia…? She felt her heart race, cheeks burning at the thought.
But curiosity wouldn't let her leave. Instead, she carefully leaned back in, eyes wide and ears pricked, trying to piece together what was happening.
"Unbelievable!" Kujaku's voice was filled with disappointment. "I thought we were like sisters! We've shared so much, yet you didn't think to invite me for something like this? Betrayal!"
Meanwhile, Hina was in full interrogation mode. "Luffy, you've been hiding things from us. How long has this been going on with Olivia? Have there been others?"
Kalifa and Nami crossed their arms, glaring down at Luffy as if he were on trial. Cornered by their questions, Luffy stammered, clearly at a loss. "I-I swear, I'm innocent! Nothing happened, really… Well, the room's soundproofing is terrible…"
He looked around nervously, then let out a sigh of defeat. "This was my first time. I swear I won't… well, maybe I've been with Ain and Hancock a couple of times, but I'm still innocent!"
"Innocent?" Hina scoffed, rolling her eyes as she conjured an iron ring and bound Luffy in place. She turned, her eyes narrowing at Ain and Hancock, who had begun to back away slowly.
"Some leaders you two are," Hina sneered. "Especially you, Ain. You're supposed to be the head of the group! What happened to sisterhood?"
Ain lowered her head, looking ashamed. Seeing her chance, Hancock quickly tried to distance herself as well, standing by Hina's side. "Yes! I despise traitors. Ain, you should step down from your position. It's clear you don't deserve it!"
But Hina, Nami, Kalifa, and Kujaku weren't buying it. They surrounded Hancock, their faces dark with suspicion. Realizing she was cornered, Hancock blinked twice, her tone turning sweet and innocent. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean it…"
Hina laughed, unaffected by her charm. "Nice try, but I'm immune to your tricks when it comes to Luffy." She turned to her sisters, rallying them with a wave. They surged forward as a team, giving Hancock a few firm knocks.
Ain, still annoyed at Hancock's betrayal, joined in without hesitation.
Seeing the chaos unfold, Olivia tried to sneak away, dropping to the floor and crawling toward the door. But halfway there, Nami's keen eye caught sight of her. With a devilish grin, Nami grabbed her by the collar, dragging her back with a grin.
Meanwhile, Luffy had found a quiet corner, watching the commotion with a look of melancholy. He took a deep drag from a cigarette, a small sigh escaping his lips.
"Well, there goes my peace," he muttered, blowing out a smoke ring thoughtfully. "Once this gets out, I can kiss my restful nights goodbye."
Outside the door, Koala's mouth hung open as she took in the spectacle. She quickly pulled back, her heart pounding as she covered her mouth in shock. This is intense… If I ever join in, will I end up like this too?
She shook her head, trying to clear her mind. "No way, why would I ever get involved? Luffy and I… we're just friends!" She gave herself a firm nod of affirmation.
But her curiosity got the better of her again, and she took another peek, watching Luffy from afar. Her cheeks flushed at the sight. "But… he is really charming. Maybe I could… I mean, it's possible… right?"
Still blushing, she bit her lip and leaned in for a closer look, intent on sneaking another glance at him.
But this time, the room was empty.
"Huh?" she whispered to herself, eyes darting around in confusion. "Wait… where'd everyone go?"
