One Piece: Lord of Calamity

Chapter 59: Chapter 59: Whole Cake Island

"I'll be waiting for you in Totto land, Big Brother Roa." With a sweet farewell, Stussy on the other end of the line hung up the phone.

Roa put away the Den Den Mushi, feeling a sense of emotion. "I guess I'll have to go to Totto land."

"Do we need to notify the Beast Pirates?" Dylan asked opportunely. "Charlotte Linlin's influence has expanded rapidly over the years; she's much more dangerous than Kaido."

Roa wholeheartedly agreed with his chief butler's statement. At this stage, Auntie Linlin, at thirty-six, was certainly stronger than Big Brother Kaido, at twenty-seven, both in strength and influence.

But how much stronger? Definitely not to the extent of Uncle Shiki or Whitebeard. Otherwise, before Roger became King, it wouldn't have been three great pirates dominating the New World, but the Yonko system would have formed earlier.

Her own strength hadn't reached its peak yet, and the Charlotte family's children were still growing. So, what was there to be afraid of? Although becoming a sword rack was a bit embarrassing, acquiring Enma had indeed elevated his strength to a new level.

Roa's lips curled into a smile, and he reprimanded, "What are you talking about, Dylan? Auntie Linlin is my most respected elder, a woman like a mother to me. How could she harm me?"

"Yes, I'll notify Judge immediately and have the fleet head towards Totto land waters." As the chief butler who had been with Roa the longest, Dylan had long grown accustomed to Roa's fickle nature.

Except for the rare occasions where he would falter due to incomprehension, most of the time he calmly followed Roa's wild decisions. Because Lord Roa had never made a mistake.

"Hmm—" Just as Roa nodded, he suddenly remembered something. "It wouldn't be good to show up empty-handed. Have Judge custom-make a cake for my dear auntie."

"Judge?" Dylan was surprised.

"Yes," Roa replied. He had a chef son; surely he must have some cooking talent himself, right? Besides, chemistry and cooking should be pretty similar, no? Aren't they all just various elements arranged and combined under different conditions?

So, Judge, who was in his lab researching the secret of black blades with Kozuki Sukiyaki, a craftsman, suddenly received a rather nonsensical order.

"Huh? Me? Make a cake?"

Totto land, Whole Cake Island.

This country, centered around the island known as Whole Cake Island, with dozens of islands arranged around it, was a vast archipelago nation.

It was originally a small, ordinary country with a small population, conquered a few years ago by the great pirate Big Mom, becoming one of the not-so-uncommon pirate-ruled nations in the New World.

After the initial panic, the country's residents gradually adapted to the Charlotte Family's rule. For no other reason than that, compared to their original king, the great pirate Charlotte Linlin seemed more human.

Although they had to surrender two months of their lifespan each year as payment for residing in this country, the Charlotte Family truly guaranteed their safety.

Moreover, the magical creatures called Homies, created by Her Majesty the Queen, largely served as the country's labor force, allowing the citizens to live much richer lives than before.

Therefore, when Queen Charlotte Linlin announced a lively tea party, the entire country mobilized. Those who could contribute strength did so, those who could provide materials did so, all to ensure that the revered Queen would not lose face in front of outsiders.

By the day of the tea party, Whole Cake Island had been completely redecorated. Everywhere were decorations in the Queen's favorite sweet pastry style, making Whole Cake Island, which already resembled a cake, seem even more deliciously sweet.

When Stussy arrived at Whole Cake Island, what she saw was a joyous populace and an island in a festive mood.

"It's quite different from what I imagined," the beautiful woman, wearing a white dress, a wide-brimmed sun hat, and carrying a small handbag, spoke softly. "I thought a country ruled by you, Linlin, would definitely be a living hell."

"Mama Mama! Do you think I'm that brat Roa, who loves chaos?" Charlotte Linlin laughed heartily, who came to greet her. "My dream is to build a fantasy country where all races can coexist harmoniously!" "If it's a fantasy, how can there be pain and wailing?"

"How remarkable," Stussy chuckled, covering her mouth. "Linlin, you should be one of the Five Elders."

"I'm not interested in becoming that kind of monster, but Stussy," Charlotte Linlin looked at her old friend, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, with surprise. "You've become normal after getting away from that Whitebeard guy." When they were in the Rocks Pirates, she was generally fine; Stussy was no different from now, but once she got close to Whitebeard, she would become crazy.

"As they say," Stussy's smile didn't diminish, "love makes people blind."

"Mama Mama! Love? I don't understand that kind of thing." The woman who had given birth to dozens of children said with grand swagger. "But Stussy, if you want men, I have as many as you want here, of every race."

"Thank you, but no need, Linlin. I'm no longer interested in men," Stussy said softly.

"That's right," Charlotte Linlin nodded. "I've heard about the Pleasure Quarter you run, woman. How could you lack men?" Thinking of something, her eyes lit up. "Since you have so many connections, Stussy, how about helping me find people of other races? I want to collect all races, and I'm still far from it."

"That's no problem," Stussy didn't refuse.

"Mama Mama! Excellent!" Charlotte Linlin was very happy. "Those two brats, Roa and Kaido, are hanging out together. Thankfully, I have your help too!"

Stussy smiled faintly. Roa will be here soon. Also, Linlin, I'm here on the government's orders to gather information.

Soon, Charlotte Linlin led Stussy to the tea party venue. There, Stussy saw Roa's target: Umit, the shipping magnate, who was in his early twenties.

Besides him, there were many other tough characters: a killer boss, a human trafficker, a loan shark magnate, and the youngest vice president of the World Economic Journal, a bird-man named Morgans.

Speaking of which, these guys all had imposing titles, but in reality, they had no real status in the New World. The true monsters looked down on them.

It was rare for real big shots to want to play with them, so they all eagerly rushed over. Stussy naturally blended in with them. Her identity as a former Rocks Pirate member and Charlotte Linlin's best friend was indeed useful.

Judging by the time, Roa should be here by now, right?

Time rewound to a little earlier.

Giant snails sailed into the Totto land waters, and inside the palace on the back of one of them.

"Wow!" Roa looked up, his face full of amazement. "It's huge!" In front of him was a cake mountain over ten meters high, adorned with various fruits on white cream, exuding a rich, sweet aroma.

"I collected many cake recipes and continuously arranged and combined them like making medicines," behind him, Judge, with heavy dark circles under his eyes, spoke carefully. "The final product is this. Are you satisfied?"

"You did very well, Judge!" Roa nodded in satisfaction. "Auntie Linlin should like it."

"As long as you're satisfied!" Roa's praise seemed to be a supreme affirmation for Judge, making him instantly beam with joy. His dark circles seemed to fade quite a bit.

The gift was ready. Now, he could make a dignified visit! Roa was full of confidence.

But.

"Who are you people! Stop right there!!" They were immediately stopped. Not being stopped would have been strange. A fleet of this scale sailing majestically into Totto land waters; the Charlotte Family wasn't blind. Roa walked onto the deck and took a look. Oh, familiar faces.
