One Piece: Flirty System

Chapter 33: Chapter 33: Space Slash: A Sword Cuts the Sea

Everyone turned their eyes to the deck, where Lynn stood, his long hair fluttering in the sea breeze. His face looked as smooth as jade, his eyes bright like stars, and his nose… well, more like a hanging gallbladder, but who was paying attention to that?

The long dress he wore rustled softly, and for a moment the whole scene felt enchanted—like a fairy had descended to the ship. Thousands of hearts skipped a beat.

Usopp was the first to break the silence, exclaiming, "Lynn, are you some kind of immortal? Sugoi!!"

Nami stared blankly at Lynn's profile. Was he really that handsome? Oh no, she was starting to fall for him!

Everyone—from the restaurant staff to Don Kreig's pirate crew—couldn't look away, completely forgetting the tense situation.

Sanji, standing nearby, eyed Lynn's clothes suspiciously. They seemed familiar, but he couldn't place where he'd seen them before.

Luffy, unable to contain himself, ran up to Lynn, sweat dripping down his forehead, eyes sparkling like polished titanium dog eyes. "So handsome! So handsome!"

He scrutinized Lynn from head to toe. Wait, wasn't Lynn's hair shorter before?

Without warning, Luffy grabbed at Lynn's hair…

The mood instantly turned awkward.

Lynn's "long hair" was actually a wig he'd bought from the system with Flirty coins. And that flawless face? Foundation, of course—otherwise, how could he look so "ugly yet jade-like"?

His clothes? Just some curtains from Sanji's room he'd repurposed because system clothes were too expensive.

Luffy held the wig in his hand. The two stared at each other for a long moment.

"Nani?!"

"What? It's fake! I thought he was an immortal!"

"That's what I said. Immortals are just legends. There are no real immortals—just stories."

The crowd's laughter dragged Lynn back to reality.

He glared at Luffy, snatched the wig, and put it back on. "Can you please stop causing trouble?"

Luffy nodded seriously. "You have to dress me up like this later. This look is awesome!"

Lynn waved him off. "Fine, go sit down…"

Adjusting his posture, Lynn began a sword dance. "I have a sword that can move mountains, overturn seas, and can, can—"

Oops. He blanked out.

"Can?"

"But can what?"

"Is he lying to us again?"

Amid the teasing complaints, Lynn's cheeks flushed red. He spun around and asked Usopp, "Hey, what comes next?"

"Ah? Break the mountains and rivers, establish the world..."

Lynn's face brightened. "Right! Break the mountains and rivers, establish the world, ah!"

"Ah?"

"Hahaha, this guy's hilarious. He doesn't even know his own words and still comes out here to embarrass himself."

"Seriously, want me to teach you how to say it?"

Sanji took a slow drag from his cigarette. "Luffy, are all these weirdos on your ship?"

Lynn's face burned. Damn, after spending so much on wigs, foundation, and makeup tech, this was the thanks he got?

He was furious. Forget it—he'd just show them what his sword could do!

Snapping, Lynn tore off his wig and threw it to the deck, then ripped off the long dress and tossed it aside.

Sanji's eyes widened. "Lynn! You actually tore down my curtains?!"

"Is he mad from shame? He looks furious!"

"What's he planning? I've got a bad feeling about this!"

The bad feeling was spot on.

On deck, Lynn formed a fist with one hand. His index and middle fingers aligned under his chin as if chanting a spell.

A transparent space vortex appeared beside him, and Gao Feng—the sword—slowly slid out.

"What's he about to do?"

Everyone wondered.

Lynn gripped the hilt and raised his head. "Space Slash! Cut the sea with one sword!"

Clang…

A sharp ringing filled the air as a flash dimmed the surroundings.

Don Kreig's crew and the restaurant staff froze, eyes drawn mechanically to Lynn's sword, slashing from bottom to top.

Horror dawned on them as they saw the sea itself split apart. This slash was far more terrifying than even Hawkeye's!

Don Kreig barely had the strength to care about his ship, now split into four pieces.

"Everyone, help! There's a massive whirlpool forming!"

"We don't have time to argue! Stabilize the ship or we're all going under!"

"Oh my god, that guy is terrifying!"

What about Lynn?

Because he hadn't fully mastered his Space Fruit ability, he overexerted himself and collapsed, fainting right there.

As consciousness slipped away, Lynn thought bitterly, "Flirting system, you're not strong enough!"

When Lynn finally woke up, Nami was lying beside him. What had happened?

What about Don Kreig's pirates? What about Luffy and the others?

His stirring woke Nami from her rest.

Seeing Lynn was okay, she rolled her eyes and twisted his ear. "You idiot, you nearly killed us all!"

"I know, I'm sorry!" Lynn begged. "Let go, it hurts!"

When Nami finally released him, Lynn noticed how quiet it was. Only the occasional cry of seagulls drifted in from outside. It felt strangely peaceful.

Still, he needed to know what happened after he fainted.

So he held Nami's hand and asked quietly, "Are Luffy and the others alright?"
