One Click Billionaire

Adam stood on the sweltering sidewalk. The outing was called off. He was still hungry, though. He had a better idea. He would place online food orders. 

That was something he had never done before. The cost had always been prohibitive. A needless lavish lifestyles. However, he now possessed millions of dollars. He had the money.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He downloaded a well-known food delivery app from the app store. He browsed the list of eateries in the area. 

The options were numerous. Mexican, Chinese, and Italian. He had only ever dined at the cheapest burger joints and noodle stands. He picked a reputable Italian eatery. 

He placed an order for a large pizza with extra cheese and garlic bread on the side. He tapped once to pay for it. The entire procedure was easy. It was simple.

His door was knocked on a few moments later. The delivery man was the one. He gave Adam a box of hot pizza. Adam returned inside after taking the food. He opened the box while seated on his tiny apartment's floor. 

The room was filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and melted cheese. He consumed the whole pizza by himself. He had never had a better meal.

Adam went to the kitchen to get a glass of water after he had finished his meal.

On the counter, where he had left Sophia's empty noodle bowl to dry, he noticed it. She had most likely been waiting for him to give it back this morning, he realized. 

A twinge of guilt ran through him. But he waved it away. It did not matter. Tonight he would return it to her.

This was still on his mind when he picked up his cell phone once more. There was no longer any guilt. A familiar desire filled him. His goal was to earn more money. He launched the app One-Click Billionaire. He began tapping while seated on his bed.

The afternoon turned into evening. Adam did not stop. He was completely focused on the screen. The number in his bank account climbed higher and higher. Finally he stopped. His fingers were aching. His thumb was sore. But he had reached a new milestone. He now had a total of five million dollars.

He knew how much effort it had taken to reach this amount. He had earned it four dollars at a time. Every single click was a small act of will. He wanted to increase the level of the app again. He needed to make more money per click. But to do that he needed to earn three thousand dollars through investment.

An idea came to him. He would invest his money in cryptocurrency. He had heard people talk about it. They said it was high risk but it also had high rewards. 

If Adam lost his money he would not be devastated. He had plenty more. And he only needed to make three thousand dollars of profit from crypto. After that his level would increase automatically.

He was excited. He thought about how much money he would make per click at Level 3. Ten dollars? Twenty dollars? The possibilities were endless.

He immediately went to the app store. He downloaded a crypto investing app. Just like before the app disappeared as soon as the download was complete. Adam understood this time. He was not surprised. He knew what had happened.

He opened the One-Click Billionaire app. He went to the investment section. Now there were two options. 'Stock Market' and 'Cryptocurrency'. He tapped on the cryptocurrency option.

He saw a list of various cryptocurrencies on the new screen. However, it was not your typical cryptocurrency exchange. He had them sorted by the app. 

At the top were filters. "Most Potential" and "Highest Gainer." He picked the 'Most Potential' filter right away.

At the top of the list was a single cryptocurrency. 'XYZ' was its name. The app's straightforward recommendation appeared beneath the name. "This currency has the greatest growth potential."

Adam did not hesitate. He did not need to do any research. He trusted the app completely. He decided to invest one million dollars into XYZ. He tapped the buy button. He entered the amount. He confirmed the purchase.

As soon as the transaction was complete he started watching the graph. He watched it with intense focus. For a few seconds the graph dipped slightly. It went down. Adam's heart started to beat very fast. Even though he had earned this money with a single click it was still his money. The thought of losing it even a small part of it was terrifying.

But then the graph started to rise. It climbed slowly at first. Then it started to move faster. He watched as the value of his investment increased. A few minutes passed. The graph was still climbing. He looked at his profit. He had already made a 6% increase.

Adam checked his portfolio value. He had made a profit of sixty thousand dollars. In just a few minutes.

He leaped from his bed. He let out a loud cry of delight. In the center of his tiny room, he began to dance. He leaped to his feet. He raised his fists in the air. He felt a rush of sheer excitement. 

The rush of power was exhilarating. He had just earned sixty thousand dollars. Twenty times as much as he needed to level up had been earned. He could not be stopped.
