Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 473: Chapter 473: Participate in the Special Training Camp Mission!

At this moment, Reiki was far too exhausted to care about what was happening in the outside world.

Instead, he was surrounded by a group of friends nagging him incessantly, delivering a barrage of lectures.

"How could you treat yourself like this? Using your life force is no joke!"

"If you hadn't pulled through, you could have died!"

"Yeah, what if you died without managing to revive the First Hokage? What would have been the point of it all?!"

"How confident were you to let the teacher take such a risk alongside you?"

"Don't tell me reviving the First Hokage was skill—it was sheer luck!"

"Also, do you think..."

...

The group showed no concern about whether Reiki could rest or recover. As far as they were concerned, he could go to the afterlife, slap Yama's head, and come back—it didn't matter to them.

[Uchiha Shisui, Namikaze Nozuki, Kurenai Yuhi, Shizune Kato, Chodori]

These five nags spared no effort in scolding Reiki.

After over an hour—probably because they were exhausted—they finally stopped.

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again," Reiki said awkwardly.

He had no retort for this kind of heartfelt [criticism].

The most he could do was allow himself to be berated and apologize afterward.

"I'll forgive you first. Now, when can I recover? Hand over the medicine!"

Chodori stretched out her hand impatiently.

"Here's the medicine! I've prepared everything you asked for."

Reiki quickly handed over the potions.

Of the group, Chodori had scolded him the most, and the others had merely followed her lead.

"Hmph! Call me next time only if it's a fight. Otherwise, I'll terminate the contract with you!"

With an arrogant snort, Chodori vanished in a puff of white smoke.

After she left, Reiki breathed a sigh of relief. At least the worst of the scolding was over.

"Reiki, we've been selected to participate in the special training camp," Nozuki said.

"You're assigned to the camp's exclusive medical team. When will you join us?"

"I can go now, but I doubt the teacher will allow it," Reiki admitted, looking sheepish.

In truth, his body still needed some recovery time.

Although the damage wasn't severe, Tsunade wouldn't let him undertake any missions in his current state.

"As long as you're healthy... I have to admit, I admire your guts for doing what you did. But don't take such risks next time!"

"We'll see you at the camp," Nozuki added before turning to leave.

"I'm heading off too," Shisui said, extending his fist toward Reiki.

"See you soon?"

"Yes!"

Reiki bumped fists with Shisui, smiling back.

Shisui grinned, said nothing more, and ran after Nozuki.

Turning to Shizune and Kurenai, Reiki asked awkwardly, "You two aren't going to start lecturing me again, are you?"

Instead of replying, the two girls burst into tears and threw themselves into his arms.

No matter what Reiki said, they just kept crying.

"All hands!"

Feeling helpless, Reiki activated his Lan Shou ability, using it to adjust their emotions to happiness.

The crying stopped abruptly, replaced by a light-hearted sense of joy.

Both girls, however, quickly realized Reiki's interference.

"Reiki, we don't like you anymore!" Kurenai said angrily.

"Ah… you..."

"The teacher is back," Reiki interrupted, sensing Tsunade's chakra aura.

He quickly lay down on the bed, pretending to rest. He knew Tsunade wouldn't hesitate to make him rest properly.

The two girls immediately straightened up, behaving like model students.

Tsunade's authority was more than enough to keep them in check.

Moments later, Tsunade entered the room.

"Stop pretending. You've almost recovered by now. Get up," she said, cutting straight to the point.

Reiki hesitated but sat up slowly.

"Teacher, can I go to the special training camp now?" he asked sheepishly.

"As a medical ninja, you should know whether your body is ready for missions. If you're confident, you can go," Tsunade said.

"However, Madara Uchiha is currently missing, and my grandfather has gone to find him. What do you think about this situation?"

Tsunade's voice grew serious. She had returned so quickly from the Hokage's office specifically to ask this.

"Madara-sama went to face Ishiki?!"

Reiki stood abruptly, his expression tense.

Even if Ishiki hadn't fully recovered, he was still a formidable member of the Otsutsuki clan.

Though Uchiha Madara wasn't weak, Reiki couldn't help but worry.

However, knowing that the First Hokage had gone to aid Madara eased his concern somewhat.

Together, they should at least be able to force Ishiki to retreat, if not defeat him outright.

"It should be fine. For now, we can only wait for news from Madara-sama and Shodaime-sama," Reiki said, calming down.

Hearing this, Tsunade seemed reassured.

"Good. You can handle your own preparations. Shizune and Kurenai are also on the list for the special training camp. Take them with you," Tsunade said before leaving.

"Are you two coming along?"

"Let's go now," Reiki said with a smile. "The camp can't function without its medical team!"

"Hmph, we're still mad at you!" Kurenai said, crossing her arms in mock indignation.

"Alright, alright. I won't take such risks again. Let's go," Reiki coaxed.

Soon, Reiki led the two girls to the hospital, where they joined the medical team. Together, they set off for the special training camp.

The next challenge was to complete their assigned tasks and gain valuable experience.

Reiki believed the situation with Otsutsuki Ishiki wasn't too dire.

Their long-term goal was to eventually rescue Otsutsuki Kaguya and block the Otsutsuki clan's ambitions in the ninja world.

And slowly but surely, they would strengthen the ninja world enough to stand against the Otsutsuki.
