Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 474: Chapter 474: Trouble in the Special Training Camp!

This was the plan, but the next operation was crucial.

After all, elevating the ninja world's power to a level capable of combating the Otsutsuki clan was no easy feat.

It had taken years of struggle, countless opportunities, and immense resources for the two "heroes" to gain the strength to challenge the Otsutsuki.

What Reiki aimed to accomplish now was something similar but on a much grander scale.

Soon, everyone arrived at the special training camp.

The camp had been established on the plains near the Valley of the End.

The site was chosen intentionally—to inspire the participants by training in the shadow of the legendary battle between the God of Shinobi, Senju Hashirama, and the Demon of Shinobi, Uchiha Madara.

By noon the next day, ninjas from various villages had gathered, and even the instructors were ready.

The training grounds were entirely open. Within the boundaries of the camp, any area could serve as a venue for battles and special training.

"Reiki, Instructor Sakumo Hatake asked me to find you," said a calm yet perpetually tired-looking Hatake Kakashi as he entered Reiki's quarters.

Kakashi's expression seemed as if someone owed him money.

"Kakashi, if you don't start smiling when you talk to me in the future..."

"I'll water down the potions I give you!"

Reiki narrowed his eyes at Kakashi.

Kakashi could pretend to be aloof and cool in public, but not in front of Reiki.

"You…"

"I was wrong," Kakashi relented, realizing that Reiki wasn't joking.

This was no time to mess around. In the special training camp, the focus was on improving strength in the shortest time possible.

The potions Reiki provided, along with his medical expertise, were critical for survival during the harsh training.

With no choice, Kakashi conceded.

"Alright, let's go," Reiki said with a smile, stepping out.

Kakashi, though serious to a fault, had a charm about him. It was almost impossible to imagine this same Kakashi enjoying Make-Out Paradise books in the future.

Arriving at Hatake Sakumo's room, Reiki saw a gathering of several important figures.

Clearly, this wasn't an ordinary meeting.

"Reiki is here. Let's start," said Sakumo.

"Some people have raised concerns about the current training plan. Reiki, listen and share your thoughts."

It was clear from Sakumo's tone that he valued Reiki's opinion highly.

"Training plan?"

"Shouldn't that be the instructors' responsibility? Why involve the medical team?"

Reiki raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"This involves you as well," Sakumo explained.

"The proposed plan is quite intense. The preliminary training involves 'village exchange training,' meaning each village is responsible for training ninjas from other villages.

"Many feel this approach could dampen morale, especially since the trainees from smaller villages are unaccustomed to such harsh conditions."

Kirabi from the Cloud Village spoke up.

"This method is bound to discourage enthusiasm. And unlike Konoha's youth, trainees from other villages haven't undergone anything remotely similar. Throwing them into such extreme training could leave lasting psychological scars."

"Hmm… I see," Reiki replied thoughtfully.

"Then train them to death," he added bluntly.

"With our medical team, we'll make sure they recover. There won't be any physical or psychological issues!"

Reiki patted his chest confidently.

The room fell silent for a moment, save for Hatake Sakumo and Orochimaru, who nodded in agreement.

The other representatives stared at Reiki, stunned by his brazen declaration.

After all, while his medical prowess was undeniable, this wasn't just about healing wounds.

"Well, now you've seen the determination of Konoha's medical ninjas," Orochimaru interjected smoothly.

"So, proceed with confidence. These trainees are the future pillars of their villages. If they can't handle setbacks during training here, it's better to end their special training early."

Reiki glanced at Orochimaru, surprised. When did this guy start speaking so rationally?

But before he could dwell on it, the room erupted in debate once again.

For many representatives, their villages had sent only their most talented youth to the camp. Losing them here would jeopardize their futures.

This meeting stretched on for three days.

Reiki, however, left after the first day.

He wasn't suited for such endless discussions.

Meanwhile, on the training grounds, hundreds of young ninjas were practicing with vigor, exhibiting habits ingrained by their respective villages.

At this moment, a group of girls approached and surrounded Reiki.

"Are you Reiki?"

"Hello! I'm Sally, a medical ninja from the Cloud Village. I'm so excited to train with you. Can you teach us how to become powerful medical ninjas?"

"Konoha's medical ninjas are legendary, and I heard you pioneered combat training for medical ninja. Can you show us?"

A girl with a fit figure and bronze skin smiled brightly at him.

"Senior Brother Reiki is very busy. If you want to learn, I can teach you," Shizune said as she squeezed into the group.

Hong was right—Reiki was so good that he was bound to attract many girls.

Shizune resolved to stop them at all costs.

"Reiki-sensei, we also want to learn from you!"

"Your medical ninjutsu is said to be a bloodline limit. Can you show us? I think I might be sick…"

Clearly, most of these girls weren't interested in medical ninjutsu at all.

They ignored Shizune and surrounded Reiki once again.

Caught off guard, Reiki found himself at the center of attention, his plans to gain experience thwarted by an enthusiastic crowd.
