Naruto Uzumaki: Female Rogue Ninja

Chapter 11: The Seeds Sown

The rage and hatred in her heart burned like scorching flames, searing Naruto's will and pushing her to the brink of madness. Thin crimson veins crept into her azure eyes.

Naruto knew she couldn't lose control here. If she did, not even the Third Hokage could protect her. Konoha would have no place for her, and Danzo would brainwash her into an obedient puppet, a useful tool…

Suppressing her anger and resentment, Naruto pretended to casually glance at the blank scroll, biting her pen as if pondering what to write.

She had never imagined meeting Danzo this way, and in their first encounter, he intended to steal the jutsu she had painstakingly created.

Where had she gone wrong? Why had it come to this… Perhaps she should have disguised herself as the Naruto from the original story from the start?

"Uzumaki Naruto, once you've written it down, you can go home."

Danzo watched Naruto with interest. The ability to modify and create a new jutsu based on Fūton: Reppushō showed immense potential, and he saw great value in it.

In Danzo's view, sparing Naruto from brainwashing was already a favor to the Third. Konoha needed obedient jinchūriki, not dangerous bombs that could explode at any moment, causing irreparable damage.

Naruto stared at the blank scroll for a long time, then tilted her head to look at Danzo, her azure eyes filled with confusion.

"What? Don't want to hand over your jutsu?" Danzo snorted coldly, his left eye icy as it fixed on Naruto.

Seemingly unaware of Danzo's anger, Naruto blinked innocently, her voice trembling with feigned helplessness: "I… I can't write…"

Her slight trembling voice, like a frightened lamb's cry, did nothing to soften Danzo's heart. To him, Naruto was merely a tool sealing the Nine-Tails—useless when idle, but when needed, she must serve Konoha, even at the cost of her life!

However, what surprised Danzo was how useful this tool proved to be. She had actually developed a new jutsu based on Fūton: Reppushō, raising his estimation of her slightly.

"Is that so?" Danzo's hawk-like gaze locked onto Naruto, as if piercing through her thoughts.

"Then show me again!" His right eye, covered by a bandage, slowly opened. Even through the fabric, the Three-Tomoe Sharingan effortlessly recorded Naruto's every move.

"Okay, I understand."

Naruto nodded, her deep azure eyes flashing with determination.

"Fūton: Shigan! Ahhhhhh!!!"

Blood splattered as the skin on her palms and backs of her hands was shredded by the violent wind, fragments flying onto Danzo's face and falling to the ground, leaving grotesque bloodstains on his cold expression.

"Not bad, just like your failed attempts before. But this isn't what I want. I need you to successfully execute this jutsu."

Danzo forced Naruto to continue using Fūton: Shigan, not solely for the jutsu itself. He also wanted to provoke her into losing control. Even if she didn't, it would serve as a warning, making her more obedient—a weapon for Konoha.

If she did lose control, he could use the opportunity to brainwash her completely, turning her into a remote-controlled bomb.

"Naruto!"

The seal containing the Nine-Tails turned blood-red, its crimson surface bubbling like boiling water. The Nine-Tails furiously slammed against the seal, its rage threatening to break free and kill Danzo.

Nine-Tails! Calm down! I'm fine!

Sensing the Nine-Tails' fury, Naruto hurried to soothe it, while outwardly wailing in pain, tears streaming down her pale, childish face. Inside, she struggled to calm the nearly enraged Nine-Tails, feeling utterly exhausted.

Danzo coldly watched Naruto clutch her wounded wrist, screaming in agony.

"Hurry up! If you want to go home, do as I say!"

"Danzo!"

The door was kicked open, and the Third Hokage entered, followed by Kakashi, two advisors, and several ANBU members. They saw Naruto's right hand, skinless and raw, blood oozing from the exposed flesh. Her azure eyes were filled with pain and fear, tears covering her pale face.

"Kakashi! Take Naruto to the hospital!" Seeing Naruto's wounded hand, the Third's guilt toward Minato peaked.

"Yes!"

Kakashi rushed to Naruto's side, scooping her up and disappearing in an instant.

"Danzo, you've gone too far!" The Third adjusted his Hokage hat, his voice laced with disappointment. Seeing the bloodstains on Danzo's face and the skin fragments on the ground, he naturally assumed Danzo, a master of Fūton, had caused Naruto's injuries.

"You should know she's the orphan of the Fourth Hokage. He sacrificed himself for Konoha, and we already owe Naruto too much. How could you treat her like this?"

"Hmph! In my eyes, she's just the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki. I respect the Fourth for protecting Konoha with his life—he's worthy of my admiration!"

Danzo's eyes flickered with respect when mentioning Minato, but Kushina meant nothing to him. Perhaps, to him, jinchūriki were merely tools for Konoha.

Seeing Danzo's lack of remorse, the Third roared, "Danzo, stay away from Naruto! If this happens again, don't blame me for being merciless!"

He turned and left, while Danzo stood in place, deep in thought.

The two advisors behind the Third exchanged a glance with Danzo, who nodded in acknowledgment.

"Naruto…"

The Nine-Tails watched the silent Naruto, hesitating.

"I'm fine, just a little uncomfortable…" Naruto lifted her head, tears welling in her reddened eyes, dripping down her cheeks.

"Nine-Tails, what did I do wrong? Did I commit some heinous crime for Konoha to treat me this way?" Naruto's fragile expression revealed her confusion. No matter how badly Konoha treated her, she only wanted to leave, never to retaliate. She had never shown malice toward Konoha, yet they repeatedly hurt her.

"Naruto… I don't know." The Nine-Tails watched her cry, its hearts aching, unable to comfort her. It wrapped its tail around her, placing her gently on its head. Since being sealed, it had barely interacted with humans, only experiencing hatred. Jinchūriki despised, resented, and restrained it.

All it could do was resist, refusing to let those who exploited it use its power without consequence.

Naruto clutched the Nine-Tails' fur tightly, gritting her teeth.

"If the Third hadn't arrived, Nine-Tails, I would've had to use your power… I'm still too weak… I must get stronger…"

"In this world, weakness is a sin!"

In the world of Naruto, even a hot-blooded facade couldn't mask the law of the jungle.

That night, Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Izuna argued fiercely about the clan's future. Knowing he couldn't sway the stubborn clan leader, Izuna activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, using Izanagi to alter Fugaku's will.

As a highly respected figure in the Uchiha clan, Izuna could orchestrate a coup and lead the clan to leave Konoha, establishing a new ninja village.

Behind the paper door, Uchiha Itachi, who had overheard his father and Izuna's conversation, watched Sasuke training diligently in the courtyard.

Would leaving Konoha be that easy for the Uchiha clan? Sasuke's still so young—I can't let him face danger! If I tell the Third, can we negotiate to stop this?

"Brother! Brother!"

Noticing Itachi standing idly, as if troubled, Sasuke frowned and tugged at his brother's clothes.

"Sasuke, what's wrong?"

Itachi smiled, ruffling Sasuke's hair, his earlier worries seemingly forgotten.

"Brother! Stop touching my head! I won't grow tall!" Sasuke covered his head, pouting unhappily, his grumpy expression adorable to Itachi.

"Nonsense, Sasuke. You'll definitely grow tall!"

Itachi tapped Sasuke's forehead.

Traitor Itachi is online.
