Naruto: Reborn as Sakura with Manyuu Chifusa Template

"Wasn't Jiraiya supposed to be coming?" Sakura asked nervously, glancing over Kakashi's shoulder. "Where is he?"

"When Jiraiya-sama heard that Orochimaru had returned, he left the village to pursue him," Kakashi answered calmly. "But there's no need to worry— Sakura, your strength has increased by leaps and bounds— together, we shouldn't have any problems protecting Sasuke from Orochimaru."

Sakura scowled at Kakashi— that wasn't what she was worried about! What about her safety!?

"I don't need any protecting," spat Sasuke. "If I fight Orochimaru, it won't go like last time."

Unbeknownst to Team 7, it was neither Sasuke or Sakura who needed protection— it was Naruto, and the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within him!

Far above them, the Ōtsutsuki known as Urashiki hovered above the village undetected, using his Byakugan to keep watch over Naruto and the other noteworthy chakra signatures milling about in the Hidden Leaf.

Every single Ōtsutsuki could fly and conceal their chakra signature, making them natural counters to landlocked shinobi who relied on their senses!

For some reason Urashiki couldn't fathom, the village was quickly emptying itself of its high-end fighters— at this rate, he wouldn't even have to wait until his target was isolated— he'd only need to leisurely float down, hook Naruto with his chakra fishing line, and fly away with him!

And that's precisely what Urashiki intended to do.

Urashiki flew down until Team 7 was in earshot— they hadn't even seen him yet, because humans never bothered to look up! To the sadistic Urashiki, this was almost too easy, so he decided to play around with his food a little. To him, ordinary ninja were no different from ants, and as a fisherman, he'd been patient enough.

Now was the time to enjoy thoroughly crushing these ants underfoot!

"I've been meaning to have a talk with you, Uzumaki Naruto-san," Urashiki arrogantly called out to him. "You have something very special that belongs to me…"

Startled by the voice coming out of seemingly nowhere, Sakura looked around her wildly, before identifying the source of the voice and finally looking up.

There was a man holding a fishing pole made out of red chakra floating a dozen metres over her head. There was a sort of flat hornlike formation extruding from his forehead, his skin was pure white, and his eyes were Byakugan…

No doubt about it— this was the real deal! Somehow, an Ōtsutsuki had shown up in front of her, completely out of the blue, years before Kaguya was supposed to show herself!

"Who are you?" Kakashi shouted, unnerved. "What do you want with Naruto?"

Since the village was on high alert due to Orochimaru, Kakashi had been constantly moulding chakra and using it to sense his surroundings— but somehow, he had missed this floating man's evil chakra signature, which had just popped out of nowhere! Furthermore, he was flying, which was an incredibly rare ability for shinobi!

"Me? What do I want?" Urashiki responded playfully. "Why… it's to help myself to your chakra!"

"Naruto, dodge!" Sakura shouted, but it was too late.

Urashiki leisurely whipped his fishing rod, sending the hook at the end of the line hurtling towards Naruto, before he could even react… and then it just bounced off his orange clothes harmlessly.

"Hm?" Urashiki murmured, raising an eyebrow. "That's weird, that usually works."

"…" said Kakashi.

"You've got some nerve, attacking people for no reason just after meeting them!" Naruto hollered, emboldened by Urashiki's pathetic attempt at an attack. "Rasengan!"

Naruto summoned a Shadow Clone, who began rapidly shaping the chakra emitted from the original's palm into a swirling sphere. Despite Sakura's best efforts, she had failed to prevent Naruto from learning the Rasengan!

"Take this!" Naruto shouted.

He jumped as high as he could, before thrusting his Rasengan in the direction of Urashiki's general vicinity. Needless to say, Urashiki simply floated a little higher and completely avoided the attack, causing the Rasengan to fizzle out in Naruto's palm as he landed.

"Naruto— combination attack number one!" shouted Sasuke, who'd had some time to practise combo moves with his teammate during Sakura's absence. "Sakura, give us some cover!"

"What are you up to now?" said Urashiki calmly, his Byakugan darting here and there within his eye sockets.

He wasn't talking to Sasuke— but rather to Kakashi, who had begun setting up his own attack!

But meanwhile, Sakura had also been preparing her own attack. She wasn't sure if her Genjutsu would work on an Ōtsutsuki; so, when in doubt, use Ninjutsu!

Snake! Ram! Monkey! Boar! Horse! Tiger!

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Sakura breathed in deeply and gathered as much fire-attributed chakra in her stomach as she could tolerate, before unleashing a continuous stream of blue flames from her mouth at Urashiki, who hastily dodged out of the way. Blue flames were naturally much hotter than orange flames, but there was something of a living quality to them…

"Oho," said Urashiki, letting out a low whistle. "So, you've got something special inside you as well, eh…? This trip just keeps getting better and better!"

When Sakura absorbed her target's breasts, she would indirectly 'steal' their chakra by adding their breast tissue to hers and adding its cells' unique qualities to the way she moulded her own chakra.

However, Tailed Beasts aren't human— they have no breasts to steal!

But since chakra is the miracle that links all things, Sakura had managed to metabolize the Tailed Beast chakra that impregnated its Jinchūriki Nii Yugito's cells; thus, making a fraction of its power her own, bolstering her 200% fire affinity with the power of Matatabi's flames!

Suddenly, Kakashi's figure flickered, as he appeared out of nowhere in midair next to Urashiki.

"Chidori!"

Kakashi attempted to stab Urashiki in the back with a fistful of lightning, but Urashiki's Byakugan had already seen through his attack— he spun on the spot, skewering Kakashi with his fishing pole.

"Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura cried out.

But to her surprise, Kakashi's silhouette began blurring and growing fuzzy, before turning electric blue. It hadn't been the real him!

"Lightning Style: Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

The Lightning Clone crackled with power, discharging its energy through Urashiki's chakra fishing pole, but contrarily to Kakashi's expectations, the electricity did not travel along the length of the pole to shock its holder. Instead, the electric man's chakra grew smaller and smaller, before turning into a small blue orb attached at the end of Urashiki's fishing line…

"It never ceases to amaze me," Urashiki commented, "all these ways you humans come up with to use chakra."

Urashiki plucked the blue orb from his fishing pole's hook and swallowed it whole.

"Ooh," he exclaimed. "Tingly!"

"I put half of my chakra in that Clone," Kakashi inwardly grumbled.
