Naruto: NTR Adventure!

Chapter 14: 14

When he and the genin team were first assigned to Kushina, they couldn't believe their luck. She had been the talk of the tower ever since her wardrobe change, and being directly assigned to her was like a dream come true. On the first day, as they walked behind her, he overheard the genins whispering about her figure. He was sure she had heard them too; there was no way a kunoichi of her caliber would miss that.

His fears were confirmed later when Kushina, with a pointed glare, assigned the trio the department's most arduous task: dusting the entire archives. This task was usually reserved for inductees to familiarize them with the department, but for the trio, it was a clear punishment. Completing the mission in a day typically required six or seven genin teams. On the bright side, this left Ryoichi as her sole assistant for the duration.

"-oichi-san?"

He snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of Kushina's voice.

"Ah, Kushina-sama, could you please repeat the question? Sorry, I was lost in the projections you shared." He quickly came up with an excuse and sighed in relief when she pointed at the numbers on the documents.

"I said, these numbers calculated by your team are correct, right?"

He nodded. "Indeed, Kushina-sama. When we got the final number, we double-checked and even questioned the chunin responsible for filing the data to ensure there were no mistakes. All records have been sealed and approved by Hokage-sama himself." He handed her several supporting documents.

Kushina reviewed them carefully. "Ah, it seems this is indeed correct, but it's still hard to believe. We've funneled about 45 million ryo to Hot Springs Country over the past four years."

Placing the documents down, she looked at him. "It seems we'll also need to calculate where and how these funds were used by Hot Springs. Next, please find and bring all the reports they sent. I want to see what services they've provided us for this huge sum."

As he was about to leave, he was interrupted again.

"Also, take those three with you. I think they will be a huge help to you. Once you're done, bring them back with you. I have some additional tasks for them. I'll meet you all in the archives after lunch."

He wasn't sure, but he definitely sensed a change in tone at the end of her dialogue. This woman was pressing his buttons, even if unknowingly. As a man recently out of a relationship, he realized he had a thing for dominant women. Shaking his head, he quickly left the tower.

The main archives department was located behind the Hokage Tower. In fact, it was one of the few departments with its own building. Upon entering, Ryoichi asked the chunin at the entrance about the genins' whereabouts. After receiving confirmation, he searched various sections of the department. He eventually found them outside Konoha's clan taxation archives on the second floor.

The trio appeared frustrated and agitated. As Ryoichi approached, he overheard their conversation.

"Damn you and your big mouth, Baicho. If not for your lack of subtlety, we wouldn't be here," complained Shinsuke, the one on the left.

"Yeah, I'm sorry again. How much longer are you going to whine, Shinsuke? I'm getting more annoyed by your ranting than by this damn mission," Baicho retorted from the shelf.

The third member, Haihuen, chimed in, "As much as it pleases me to hear you two bickering, this is getting boring. If I wasn't sure of your preferences, I'd lock you both in a room together. But, Shinsuke, you can't blame Baicho alone. We all screwed up by commenting so loudly behind her back."

Haihuen continued, "But I don't regret it. We were just speaking the truth—Kushina-sama really is a hot pack. If I had the chance, I wouldn't leave a piece of her unused."

Baicho laughed. "True, man. For the past two days, she's been in every thought and dream of mine. I wanted to smack her ass that day or, better yet, make my dreams come true by bending her over in the archive library and taking my sweet time with her."

Shinsuke sighed. "Why are you guys dreaming about something unattainable? She's way out of our league. Even if she weren't Yondaime's wife or the deputy Hokage, she's still an S-ranked kunoichi. Her ki alone would make us crap ourselves."

Haihuen groaned. "Why are you such a party pooper, Shinsuke? Can't a guy dream? Besides, in the end, she's still a kunoichi, and I've got the perfect kunai to fit her holster."

The trio burst out laughing.

"That's lame, Haihuen. But if any kunai is going there, it's definitely mine," Baicho remarked, about to continue when they were silenced by Ryoichi's voice.

"As much as I'd love to hear about your kunai and Kushina-sama's holster, let's be thankful it was me who overheard this and not her. Otherwise, you three would be assigned an even more menial job than this."

The trio shook their heads in mock dismay. Haihuen replied, "We're just speaking the truth, Ryoichi-san. And it's not like we don't know how you or everyone else here looks at her. Sure, we made a mistake commenting in front of her. But you can't deny, if given the chance, you'd let your kunai find her holster."

The trio laughed again.

Ryoichi shook his head. "That's not the point. Besides, I've been assigned a new task, so I'm here to fetch you. If you're lucky, you'll get to report to her after completing it." He left quickly, heading toward the foreign archives section. Behind him, he heard the trio scrambling to return the scrolls to the shelves.

Meanwhile, unaware of the conversations about her, Kushina was lost in thought. The '45 million ryo' allocated to Hot Springs Country over four years for maintenance seemed absurd to her. *What are they using these funds for? This feels like daylight robbery. I'll have to ask Sandaime about this. He signed off on it, so he should know more.*

Noticing it was almost lunchtime, she sealed the documents in her file. This sealing method was one of her innovations for easier archive maintenance. She had proposed it to Sandaime, who mentioned similar ideas had been suggested in the past but never implemented due to the lack of sealing expertise among civilians and shinobi alike.
