In the blink of an eye, another half month had passed.

A new year had arrived, and the current Shinobi World War had officially entered its third year.

Today was January 5th—Uchiha Haruki's birthday.

He allowed himself a rare moment of relaxation and enjoyed a full, peaceful sleep.

But what surprised him was that when he woke up the next morning, he suddenly realized his physical condition had improved by an entire level.

"Was that an illusion?"

Haruki murmured, stretching his limbs. After a few movements, he confirmed that his physical attributes had indeed improved. He sensed the rest of his capabilities as well—each had made some progress.

"Not an illusion."

Haruki smiled to himself, pleasantly surprised. He muttered, "Status Panel!"

What he hadn't expected was that the transformation didn't occur while he was channeling Mystic Palm Technique to reinforce his body cells, but instead happened while he was sleeping.

Reflecting on his deep sleep the night before, Haruki considered a possibility:

Perhaps it was because he had pushed himself too hard during the past 20-plus days. The intense strain might have delayed the breakthrough.

And once he paused training and relaxed, the transformation naturally occurred.

Of course, it might also have had something to do with him turning a year older.

Regardless, the foundation had been laid in those previous 20 days. So it wouldn't be fair to say Mystic Palm was ineffective—it was just a matter of timing.

"But going forward, I really need to pace myself better," he murmured.

He turned his attention to the secondary effects of his Physique boost.

First of all, his theoretical chakra capacity had increased.

Haruki estimated that his cap would jump from 35,000 to around 44,000.

This large jump was mainly because his improved Physique reduced the disparity with his Spirit stat, thereby releasing some of the mental suppression on his body, unlocking greater potential.

The combination of these two effects increased his chakra ceiling by 9,000.

Then came improved recovery rate and stamina.

Haruki estimated that going from Physique 11 to 12 would let his body regenerate 4,000 more chakra points daily.

And that wasn't counting the bonus from increased resilience.

Previously, at Physique 11, he could only actively use Chakra Refinement for 6 hours per day, generating 12,000 chakra.

Now, with greater endurance, he could sustain it for 7 hours, creating an extra 2,000 chakra.

Altogether, that was 6,000 more chakra per day.

Which meant his daily usable chakra would jump from 27,000 to 33,000.

That was a huge leap, almost comparable to the output of his so-called "chakra batteries."

Speaking of chakra batteries, Haruki thought of the captives locked deep in his secret base.

Due to his heavy extraction over the past few weeks, some of the first seven prisoners had started dying one after another.

Luckily, he had captured replacements in time, keeping the number at a steady nine captives, preventing any disruption to his training schedule.

The effort was worth it—the rewards were plentiful.

Besides the Physique upgrade, many of his other skills had improved significantly.

For instance:

Great Fireball Jutsu and Dragon Fire Jutsu both gained over 1,400 proficiency points, nearly reaching max level.

Wind Release: Great Breakthrough successfully reached Lv4, deepening his understanding of Wind Release's form and nature transformations.

Then there was:

Shadow Clone Jutsu advanced from Lv2 (101/500) to Lv3 (15/1000).

His clone limit doubled from five to ten, and stability also improved.

Chakra cost was reduced as well—from 90% of total clone chakra to 80%.

Small improvement, but progress nonetheless.

Rasengan leveled up from Lv3 (650/1000) to Lv4 (310/2000).

Both casting speed and power increased noticeably.

Combined with his growing mastery of Wind Release, he was now one step closer to developing Wind Release: Rasenshuriken.

Haruki estimated that once Great Breakthrough reached its peak and Rasengan hit Lv5, he'd be ready to begin that development.

Beyond that, the most significant improvements over the past days were:

Genjutsu: Sharingan

Mystic Palm Technique

Swordsmanship

His Sharingan Genjutsu had reached Lv6 (8430/10000), almost at the threshold of Lv7—Perfection.

Once he reached that, he'd finally step into the realm described in the scrolls—able to cast illusions with a glance or gesture.

At that point, even standard jonin would no longer be a threat to him.

As for Swordsmanship, its proficiency hit Lv5 (4450/5000), just shy of a level-up.

Once it upgraded to Lv6, he could finally begin developing Illusion Blade Jutsu, a new hidden trump card.

Then came Mystic Palm Technique.

Thanks to focused training, it had now reached Lv5 (4050/5000).

He estimated that in just four more days, it would break through to Lv6.

At that stage, not only would his healing power be massively boosted, but the Yang Release chakra used to enhance his body would become significantly more potent.

In fact, his next physical breakthrough might be just around the corner.
