Naruto: Get Stronger by Spoiling My Sister

Chapter 94: Chapter 94: The Worthy Teacher, Orochimaru

"Bastard!" Kabuto clenched his fists, glaring furiously at Neji, who had already shut the door. He stomped once in frustration before walking off.

"Becoming more and more like a woman," Neji murmured behind the door, deactivating his Byakugan with a slight sigh. "The Living Corpse Reincarnation shouldn't alter a person's personality. What exactly happened?"

"Could it be that Orochimaru tampered with something during the transfer? That must be it. How devious," Neji frowned. "Looks like the Living Corpse Reincarnation is something I should only obtain through a system reward too risky otherwise."

Still, there was a faint smile on his lips.

"How interesting…"

He chuckled quietly. Somehow, he'd managed to acquire the Second Generation Manda at this point in time. Neji couldn't help but wonder if he summoned that colossal serpent now, what kind of expression would it wear?

Standing before the mirror, Neji took off his Konoha forehead protector. His smooth forehead bore only a single, deep violet diamond-shaped mark no trace of the Caged Bird Curse Seal remained. To this day, no one else knew the secret of how he'd removed it.

"Better not expose that just yet," he muttered, strapping the forehead protector back in place. Then, he immediately performed the Wood Clone Technique, and a moment later, another Neji emerged from behind him.

"Byakugan: Phasing Form."

The clone activated the Byakugan with a sudden burst veins bulged around his eyes, and in the next instant, a nearly imperceptible black dot appeared in the air, emitting a spiral of energy that pulled Neji inside.

In a remote, desolate mountain range, a swirling vortex suddenly materialized. Out stepped the white-clad, white-eyed youth.

"This really is similar to Kamui," Neji whispered to himself. "But this technique can actually access Kaguya's alternate dimension… Truly convenient."

"No time to waste," he muttered, raising his hands.

He activated Rotation, and a hemispherical blue chakra shield began spinning rapidly around him. Suddenly, flames erupted, gradually consuming the blue chakra like a fiery tornado. The heat was so intense that the surrounding stone began to melt.

But it didn't end there.

The flames abruptly receded, replaced by violent arcs of lightning. Unlike the fiery version, the lightning-infused Rotation retained the same chakra shell but intermittently shot out bolts like lasers, scouring the nearby terrain with thunderous explosions, shaking the very mountain and sending massive boulders tumbling.

"Lightning Rotation," Neji's voice rang out, tinged with delight. "Now, let's try…"

Zzzzzzz…

From seemingly nowhere, torrents of water surged forth, veiling the Rotation in sheets of blue like cascading curtains. Although tranquil on the surface, one could feel the currents raging beneath. Anyone daring to touch it would likely lose a limb or be crushed into pulp by the sheer pressure.

Then, something unexpected happened.

The lightning hadn't fully dissipated before it met the water. The moment the two elements collided, the Rotation violently exploded with a thunderous BOOM, sending a shockwave that shattered a nearby peak.

Rocks fragmented, smoke and dust filled the air, and Neji's figure shot out of the chaos, flung backward until he slammed into the side of another mountain.

Crash!

The mountain trembled but managed to hold firm, avoiding collapse.

Cough, cough… Neji sputtered, now covered in soot and wearing tattered robes. He looked more like a disaster survivor than the elegant prodigy he usually resembled. His aura from earlier was gone, leaving behind a ridiculous sight that would've made anyone laugh.

But if one had seen the destruction left behind, the laughter would've died in their throat. It was terrifying an entire ridge lay shattered, pockmarked with craters, the lingering smoke obscuring even the clouds overhead.

Neji leapt down from the cliff, quickly tidied himself up, and pulled an identical outfit from his system's inventory, swapping it in an instant.

"Another failure," he muttered, a little frustrated. "Fusing chakra natures and then switching between them mid-technique is really difficult."

The truth was, Neji had already mastered Rotation with all elemental chakra types. But the ability to switch between them freely mid-technique? He had only about a twenty percent success rate.

"Still… this just proves my theory."

Neji looked over the scorched terrain with satisfaction. Rotation wasn't just a defensive maneuver it could be weaponized. If he could freely alternate chakra types at will, it would become an unparalleled, all-in-one offensive and defensive technique.

"Again!"

He resumed training. Within three years, he was determined to elevate his abilities to a whole new level. The system had given him a solid foundation now it was time for him to innovate on top of it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The relentless explosions echoed from dawn till dusk. Neji didn't rest for a moment. Thankfully, he possessed the Perfect Sage Body. Without it, the sheer shockwaves would've killed him ten times over.

Back in his room, his clone was poring over a scroll. All around him, countless other scrolls lay scattered each one collected by Orochimaru over the years.

Ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu… even forbidden techniques from other villages Orochimaru had them all.

Since the memories between his real body and clones were shared, Neji wasn't surprised. He instantly created dozens of Wood Clones, each picking up a scroll and diving in.

There was power in numbers.

"Tch… Orochimaru may be twisted and ruthless," Neji said with a click of his tongue, "but I have to admit, he's an excellent teacher very dedicated."

Each scroll was filled with Orochimaru's personal insights and refinements. Many of the techniques had been enhanced: their hand seals shortened, their power amplified, and their chakra consumption optimized.

Even in the original timeline, Orochimaru was a capable mentor. He helped Sasuke reach S-rank strength and taught him how to analyze opponents and strategize effectively.

In a way, Sasuke's future achievements couldn't have happened without Orochimaru's guidance. That was one reason Neji had helped him defect from the village.

Naruto had Jiraiya. Sakura had Tsunade. But Sasuke had no Kage-level mentor. Had he stayed in Konoha, his growth would've been stunted. For him to rise, he had to leave.

But back to the present.

At this moment, Neji's expression turned unusually focused. Orochimaru had collected far too many jutsu he couldn't possibly learn them all. And he certainly wouldn't be staying with Orochimaru for three years straight. He needed to choose the ones most useful to him.

"Though it seems Orochimaru misunderstood my intent," Neji smirked.

What he really wanted wasn't someone else's ninjutsu but the ones Orochimaru had invented himself.

Still, Neji wasn't concerned. There was plenty of time. He still had the Sharingan, and sooner or later, Orochimaru would cough up every technique he knew.

"For now, let's focus on studying."
