Naruto: Chakra System

A few more days passed. In the meantime, Team 7 Genin had practiced Body Flicker Technique for many hours, and now could use it in battles for running away at least.

For Sakura, Kakashi decided to teach two new Ninjutsu as well, which she should train in after her medical ninjutsu training of the day. One was the C-rank Wild Water Wave Jutsu, and the other was Shadow Clone Jutsu.

While Kakashi wanted to teach Sakura, a defensive Jutsu, he skipped it for the future; for now, one offensive jutsu was good in missions. And Kakashi also read all he needed for ninja body and chakra with healing applications for techniques, and then copied Mystic Palm Jutsu, so now Sakura was on her own in medical ninjutsu training.

Plus, he had even mastered the Four-Symbol Seal, and was now merging the Storage Seal with it to create a Dimension-type storage seal. For Naruto and Sasuke, today Kakashi would be teaching them one B-rank Ninjutsu.

There was almost only a week or two left before the Land of Waves mission to come, that would be requested by that elderly bridge builder, Tazuna, and Kakashi knew that time was enough for Naruto and Sasuke to master one B-rank Ninjutsu easily.

In Training Ground 3, Naruto and Sasuke stood in front of Kakashi, Naruto visibly excited to finally learn a cool Jutsu, while Sasuke also was, but didn't show it on his face.

"So, are you ready?" Kakashi asked, despite knowing the obvious.

Naruto jumped and shouted in excitement, "Of course I am! Tell me, Kakashi-sensei, which Jutsu will you teach me?"

Sasuke corrected him dryly, "Us!"

Naruto waved his hand, and with a shrug said, "Yeah, yeah, us." And looked back at Kakashi eagerly.

"For you, Naruto, I'm going to teach you the Gale Palm Jutsu," Kakashi said. "This Ninjutsu requires you to gather wind chakra within your both palms, and then thrust your hands forward to release a powerful, concentrated gust of wind."

He then demonstrated it, making quick hand signs, joining his palms forward towards a few trees on his side, and gathering wind chakra in them. He released a visible wide, hand-shaped powerful wind that created a noticeable ripple in the air, and with a Whoosh, it destroyed many trees that came under this attack.

Naruto's eyes shone; he was indeed very happy that the Jutsu he was going to learn wasn't just labeled B-rank, but truly a cool Jutsu. Kakashi explained the hand signs and how it is used; it can be used for defensive utility, like creating distance from an enemy, blowing away smoke or dust to clear the field of vision but at a much higher level.

It was also used for offensive disruption, especially when used with much higher chakra input, which Naruto could easily utilize. And the last was projectile enhancement; it could significantly increase the velocity and impact of thrown objects like Shuriken and Kunai, making them more lethal projectiles, capable of greater piercing power and range.

With that, he sent Naruto to go and train in it, and obviously use Shadow Clones to master this technique much earlier. "If you are able to master it within this week," Kakashi said, "Then I will definitely teach you an A-rank Ninjutsu, and that too, the Fourth Hokage's signature Jutsu."

Though Kakashi didn't show him Rasengan, Naruto was much happier to know it; after all, his dream of becoming Hokage wasn't completely waver, and a signature move of the Fourth Hokage was obviously what Naruto wanted.

"Then I will definitely master this Jutsu within this week," Naruto said, giving him a thumbs up. "And then have you teach me that A-rank you promised me, believe it!"

Naruto then moved a little further and started training, and then Kakashi looked at Sasuke, who had been quite patient until now. Though he didn't say anything until now, Sasuke was also quite eager to learn a powerful Ninjutsu.

This feeling of gaining strength and becoming powerful gave him confidence that the next time he would see Itachi, he wouldn't be his past pathetic self that Itachi mocked and left. He was also looking at Kakashi with a calm look, but his foot fingers were visibly fidgeting under his shoes, with crossed arms, his fingers were restlessly tapping on the other. Kakashi noticed this and smiled under his mask but didn't call him out for it.

"The Lightning Jutsu I'm going to teach is my own made B-rank Lightning Jutsu, that is also derived from my own created A-rank Lightning Jutsu, which I will also teach you once you master this B-rank one, like Naruto," Kakashi said, and explained about it. "This Jutsu is called Lightning Hound Jutsu; with this, you can create a hound and wolf-shaped construct, made entirely of lightning chakra."

Sasuke nodded, stopped fidgeting his fingers, hearing Kakashi intently, without disturbing. "Um, let me just demonstrate it to you first," Kakashi said and decided to show it to Sasuke first.

Kakashi quickly made hand signs, and crackling lightning appeared beside Kakashi, with a bright blue and little white lightning chakra formed and shaped into a wolf. Its eyes glowed intensely, and electricity crackled audibly around its form.

Kakashi had the hound attack one sturdier tree ahead, and this wolf-shaped hound moved quickly, leaving a trail of shimmering electricity, and with a sharp ZZZZT! sound accompanying its movements and with this blinding speed, it rushed at the tree.

With a direct aim at the tree, it electrocuted the tree completely, with a small Boom, leaving that sturdier tree to ashes. Sasuke's eyes remained wide open, and he thought, 'This really seems quite powerful than Fireball Jutsu, no wonder it's a B-rank.'

Kakashi then explained its hand signs and how it's used, as this mostly is for offensive purposes. It can be used to launch direct attacks, and it also can track and pursue a moving target, even around obstacles, making it difficult to evade, and that's why it's also called "Tracking Fang!"

"You have seen its power, so I don't think I need to explain that further," Kakashi said. "But know that you can also create multiple hounds if you use more chakra, and you can also leash that hound with lightning chakra connected to it; this helps you in directional control."

With explaining that, Kakashi sent him to train also, while he took out snacks to eat, with warm green tea in a bottle, from his ninja pouch, and took a seat under his usual tree's shades, while also observing Naruto and Sasuke training.

"I have already sent Sakura to learn Medical Ninjutsu, while Creation Rebirth and Monster Strength Taijutsu, I think that would be better for her to learn from Tsunade herself in the future," Kakashi mused.

"Plus, even Sasuke has gained Two-Tomoe Sharingan, and in the future, I can plan something for him to evolve it one more step, maybe during the Chunin exams, using Orochimaru for it, and I'll obviously teach him a few more Ninjutsu and maybe even Kenjutsu later."

"Now only person remaining to focus is Naruto," Kakashi spoke softly, taking a sip of his tea. Sakura and Sasuke are alright, only Naruto didn't get any proper focus.

Although Sasuke can also be said the same, but to Kakashi, Sasuke's Sharingan is more of a focus; once he taught him Chidori or one or two more Fire Release Jutsu, he could develop and learn further, but Sharingan is important.

While Kakashi also knew Kenjutsu a lot, learned from his father, and used that Katana a lot during his Anbu time, with Lightning Release Chakra, but he didn't feel that Sasuke actually needed Kenjutsu training this early, atleast not now.

But in the case of Naruto, he had yet to do anything major. "And for Naruto, only major thing for focus can be Kurama," Kakashi muttered, taking a bite of his Riceball, looking at Naruto, who with his dozens of Shadow Clones practicing Gale Palm Jutsu.

Though these two B-rank Ninjutsu he taught them are in some cases also considered C-rank, but Kakashi knew that in the hands of Naruto and Sasuke, they might even become an A-rank Ninjutsu.

"Now the only thing I need is to plan out how I will tell Naruto all about Kurama, his parents, and all these Bijuu's history," Kakashi pondered.

"Well, I will think about it for next few days, and tell Naruto properly, and I am sure, Naruto will be able to befriend that Grumpy fox sealed inside him within some time, maybe before the Chunin exams, if I talk about this to him in next few days."
