Chapter 340: Ch 340 : Double fun
Morning.
The sound of clattering echoed through the living room, disturbing the morning peace.
Tsunade, feeling a bit irritated, rested her wrist on her forehead and squinted at the morning light streaming through the window.
Another day…
From beneath the blanket, a plump, fair leg stretched out, toes painted with red nail polish.
With a graceful movement, the foot nudged the window open, letting the chilly morning breeze rush into the room, gradually dispersing the lingering drowsiness in her mind.
Tsunade, clad in a thin nightgown, walked out of the bedroom and glimpsed Shizune's hurried figure, likely busy preparing breakfast.
"Lady Tsunade, you're awake."
"Mm." Tsunade lazily responded and started heading toward the bathroom.
"His Majesty is here."
After saying this, Shizune quickly disappeared into the kitchen, leaving the living room for Makoto and Tsunade to face each other.
"…"
Tsunade's footsteps abruptly halted, her eyes widening in shock as she turned toward the living room—only to see a new figure standing there.
"Morning." The man greeted her with a smile, as if nothing was amiss.
"…"
Tsunade's expression turned ice-cold.
She hadn't seen him for quite some time, and had just begun to adjust to life here.
But whenever she recalled the humiliation he had inflicted upon her, she couldn't help but grit her teeth in resentment.
At first, she had thought about escaping, only to quickly realize how futile such a notion was.
This Hyuga Makoto was strong—far stronger than Uchiha Madara, she suspected… No, she was certain of it.
The Tower of Solarity in Konoha and the colossal statue of the Heavenly Justice outside left her with an overwhelming sense of powerlessness, making her feel as though she was trapped in an inescapable prison.
Having not seen him for so many days had brought her some relief.
If only that bastard weren't here, this world wouldn't be so bad…
But there was no if.
That bastard was here again.
Was he here to humiliate her once more…?
Tsunade clenched her fists tightly.
She was not the kind of woman to be toyed with.
If that bastard dared to force her again, she would fight to the death just to teach him a lesson!
Makoto spoke calmly, "Go freshen up first. I have something to discuss with you."
But Tsunade had no intention of freshening up now.
She strode straight toward him.
She asked coldly, "What do you want?"
Makoto tilted his head slightly. "I've prepared a new body for you."
Tsunade's expression stiffened. "…What do you mean?"
Makoto explained, "Right now, you're essentially occupying this world's Tsunade's body. Because of that, the original Tsunade here has been in a dormant state. So, I've prepared a new body for you so that the two of you won't interfere with each other."
"Don't worry," he continued. "This body is an exact clone of Tsunade herself, identical in every way. You won't have to worry about any issues… Though it is a bit younger."
Tsunade fell silent, staring at Makoto with a blank expression.
After a moment, she said, "If I return to my original world, this Tsunade will wake up as usual, correct?"
Makoto smiled. "That's right. But you're a guest here. I've been such a gracious host—if you just up and leave like that, I'd feel a bit reluctant to let you go."
Tsunade silently clenched her fists once more.
Just as she expected—this bastard had no good intentions!
But… could she refuse?
She was, after all, occupying someone else's body.
And Shizune had been waiting for the Tsunade of this world to return.
She had merely been taking advantage of Shizune's kindness…
Makoto spoke again. "You should wash up first. Since you're returning something that belongs to someone else, shouldn't you at least clean it properly?"
Tsunade didn't respond but turned and walked toward the bathroom.
...........
Half an hour later.
Tsunade emerged, dressed neatly as always in her sleeveless top and green haori.
Makoto smiled, his eyes casually scanning her up and down.
Tsunade, however, glared at him coldly.
"Let's go." She said.
"Why so hostile?" Makoto chuckled. "Weren't we quite… close before?"
His words instantly pushed Tsunade past her breaking point.
She threw a punch straight at him!
But of course, it was futile.
Her fist was halted mid-air, caught by an invisible force, completely restrained.
Tsunade gritted her teeth, her voice laced with pure hatred.
"Hyuga Makoto, you'd better show me some damn respect. If you speak like that again, I swear—even if I have to die, I will kill you!"
Makoto, of course, was the last person to be intimidated by threats.
He reached out and gently caressed her face.
Looking into her furious, burning gaze, he smirked.
"Tsunade, you really overestimate yourself."
"Without my permission, you couldn't even die if you wanted to."
Makoto led Tsunade out the door and soared into the sky, heading toward the Biotech Research Institute.
This wasn't Tsunade's first time flying.
Back when she fought Uchiha Madara, she had borrowed the power of Ohnoki and Gaara to take to the skies.
She had also heard that in this world, Makoto was the only person capable of flight—because he had killed Ohnoki in a single move.
Makoto suddenly patted her on the butt, breaking her train of thought.
"We're here for serious business, so behave."
With that, he released the restraints on her body.
Tsunade suppressed the urge to retaliate, forcing herself to stay calm.
She repeated over and over in her head:
This body isn't mine… He's not messing with me… He's just toying with someone else…
That was the only way she could convince herself to endure.
Upon entering the Biotech Research Institute, Tsunade's eyes flickered with curiosity.
The modern technological style was something entirely new to her.
Aside from the scientists in white lab coats, there were also numerous mechanical puppets—the result of the Mechanical Science Institute's research into puppet technology.
To Tsunade, everything here was unfamiliar.
Her gaze swept the room, taking it all in.
Makoto, meanwhile, ignored the bowing researchers and headed straight for Kabuto.
Tsunade's eyes widened in shock upon seeing him.
"Him…?"
She recognized him instantly.
"The Kabuto of this world," Makoto explained. "One of the Seven Crown Guards and the Head of the Biotech Division."
Different worlds… Different people…
Tsunade quickly regained her composure, her gaze settling on the young man before her.
Kabuto spoke up:
"I'm only the Deputy Minister—the Second Hokage is the actual Minister."
Makoto replied casually, "The Second Hokage is just a figurehead."
The Second Hokage…
Tsunade had already learned that Senju Tobirama was alive in this world, though she regretted never having the chance to meet him.
Makoto turned to Kabuto. "Let's begin."
Kabuto nodded and led them into another room.
At the center stood a surgical table, and on it lay a woman—one who looked exactly like Tsunade.
Her figure was just as voluptuous, but her facial features appeared younger, no older than twenty.
The only difference was that her forehead lacked the diamond-shaped seal that Tsunade had always worn.
Kabuto turned to Makoto.
"Your Majesty, the body has been fully activated."
Makoto nodded slightly and waved his hand.
Kabuto bowed before leaving the room, and the automatic door closed behind him.
Now, only Makoto, Tsunade, and the young Tsunade remained.
Makoto smiled.
"I prepared this for you. What do you think?"
Tsunade stepped closer, placing a hand on the young body's arm.
The skin was soft and elastic—undoubtedly a flawless body.
Makoto spoke again:
"From now on, just settle down and stay here."
Tsunade let out a cold scoff, glancing sideways.
"Stay here and continue to suffer your humiliation?"
Makoto stepped closer and pulled her into his arms.
"Don't say it like that, Tsunade."
Her face darkened with anger as she struggled.
"Let go!"
Her resistance was useless, and all she could do was glare at him furiously.
Makoto spoke slowly:
"Tsunade, I really do like you. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone through all this trouble for you."
Tsunade remained unmoved by his words.
After everything he had done, the only thing she wanted was to tear him apart.
Makoto let out a soft sigh.
"Let's begin."
Then, he released her and gently pressed a finger to the forehead of the young body lying on the table.
Instantly, chakra surged into it.
The once pale skin began to take on a healthy flush, and at the same time, a black marking spread downward from Makoto's fingertip, resembling an intricate seal pattern.
He then stepped to a control panel, adjusting a few settings.
Beside the surgical table, a second table rose from the floor.
Makoto looked at Tsunade.
"Lie down."
This time, she didn't argue or resist—she simply followed his instructions and lay down.
As the ritual was completed, Tsunade suddenly felt her body become weightless.
A soft glow enveloped her, and in the next moment, she floated free—her soul leaving her body.
There was no discomfort, no pain.
Now in spirit form, Tsunade hovered above, looking down at the two bodies on the surgical tables—her current body and the new one.
Then, she turned to look at Makoto, her expression unreadable.
In the next moment, a powerful force erupted from the young body, pulling Tsunade's floating spirit toward it.
The irresistible force dragged her in, and as it did, her consciousness darkened, and she blacked out.
—
She had no idea how much time had passed.
In a haze, Tsunade slowly opened her eyes.
The bright ceiling came into view, along with the cold touch of the surgical table beneath her.
"You're awake."
Makoto's voice came from beside her.
Tsunade sat up, feeling her new body, and then—her gaze landed on the person standing next to Makoto.
A woman who looked exactly like her.
"You…?"
"I'm also Tsunade."
The other woman spoke.
She had woken up earlier and had learned everything from Makoto.
Now, she was curious about this Tsunade from another world.
"I see… so, you've woken up too."
Tsunade muttered to herself as she stepped down from the surgical table.
Ding-ling—
A clear, familiar sound suddenly rang out, making both Tsunades freeze.
The Tsunade standing beside Makoto was the first to react.
She glanced at her younger self, her expression thoughtful—and then, oddly amused.
The younger Tsunade, now in her new body, suddenly reached behind and touched her butt through her clothing.
Her face turned red, little by little—
But at the same time, her eyes filled with bloodthirsty rage.
"Ah! You bastard! I'm going to kill you!"
She charged at Makoto like a madwoman, but—just like before—he easily restrained her.
Makoto cleared his throat and said,
"Don't be so worked up. You'll get used to it eventually!"
…Get used to it?
Those words nearly made young Tsunade pass out from sheer fury.
Makoto then thought for a moment and said,
"We should distinguish between the two of you from now on, so there's no confusion."
His gaze moved between them.
The Tsunade from this world looked as calm as ever.
The other Tsunade, the one who had crossed over, was full of rage and hatred.
Makoto turned to the calm one.
"You will remain 'Tsunade' as before."
"Yes, Your Majesty."
She bowed respectfully.
Then, he turned to the furious one—the one who looked like she wanted to tear him apart.
"And you…"
"I will kill you! I swear I will!" she shrieked, hysterical.
Makoto laughed and said,
"I'm afraid you'll never have that chance in this lifetime."
She roared,
"Then kill me now!"
Makoto gently caressed her cheek and said with a smile,
"How could I possibly bear to do that?"
Then, he continued,
"You'll be Tsunade No. 2. Hmm… or rather, I'll just call you whatever I feel like in the future."
As he looked at the two Tsunades standing before him, his lips slowly curved into a grin.
"Double the fun, huh?"
