Naruto : Behind The Scenes Big Boss System

Chapter 56: The Plan is in Motion

Under the guidance of the hypnotized ninja, Gen moved toward the rear of the Yemuki clan's estate. The sounds of battle at the main gate had grown even more intense, with chakra energy rippling through the air. Clearly, a jonin-level ninja had arrived—possibly the head of the Yemuki clan himself.

Gen wasn't worried about Uchiha Madara. Despite Madara's seemingly reckless, over-the-top demeanor, anyone who underestimated him as a thoughtless brute wouldn't live to regret it. Every fight Madara entered was meticulously calculated. He would never engage in a losing battle.

With the aid of Gen's three-tomoe Sharingan, the two avoided most of the ninjas converging on the main gate. When evasion was impossible, Gen used the Flying Thunder God technique to quickly deal with enemies, wasting no time.

After ten minutes of this, the battle sounds from the gate had faded into the distance. The two finally reached the clan's grain storage.

Hidden in the shadows, Gen observed the grain depot and asked quietly, "How many guards are there?"

"Two special jonin and three chunin," the Yemuki ninja replied in a daze.

"I see."

Gen pondered for a moment and glanced at the hypnotized ninja. Now that they'd reached the grain depot, this guide was no longer necessary. Should he eliminate him?

After some thought, Gen smirked and used his Sharingan to deepen the suggestion. "Go support the main gate. Use all your strength to attack the invading ninja."

Without hesitation, the Yemuki ninja turned and resolutely ran toward the gate.

Though Gen had no qualms about killing, he disliked the idea of discarding allies like tools. Letting this ninja head to the gate felt more humane. Whether the poor soul survived encountering Uchiha Madara was up to fate.

Turning his attention back to the grain depot, Gen used his Sharingan to examine the defenses. While the Sharingan wasn't as precise as the Byakugan for reconnaissance, it was sufficient for spotting hidden enemies at this range.

The depot was housed within a large courtyard. At the entrance, two special jonin stood guard. Another special jonin was concealed in a tree not far behind them. The three formed a triangular formation, ensuring any breach point would be swiftly countered.

Within the depot, three chunin patrolled regularly. However, deeper inside, Gen noticed a faint chakra signature—possibly a jonin. "Could it be a Hyuga ninja?" he mused.

Calculating his odds, Gen concluded: "If I rush in and use fire-style jutsu to destroy the grain depot, I can eliminate the three special jonin with the Flying Thunder God technique. The operation would succeed as long as the jonin doesn't counter with water-style jutsu."

Satisfied with his analysis, Gen planted a kunai at his feet as a contingency. Then, he armed himself with six kunai, three in each hand, and activated his Sharingan. In an instant, he launched them toward the depot's guards.

"Who's there?!"

The special jonin reacted quickly, already on high alert due to the commotion at the main gate. They leapt aside, dodging the kunai.

But as the first kunai passed, a second kunai collided with it midair, altering its trajectory. Now redirected, the kunai struck the airborne jonin, who had no way to evade mid-leap.

Thwack! Thwack!

The kunai embedded in their bodies.

Before either could process what had happened, Gen appeared like a phantom, his three-tomoe Sharingan spinning menacingly. One jonin barely had time to widen his eyes before Gen's blade decapitated him.

"You—!" the second jonin managed to utter before meeting the same fate.

Their bodies hit the ground with a thud. The entire confrontation had lasted only a few breaths.

Noticing the final special jonin fleeing into the distance, Gen's Sharingan glinted coldly. He vanished and reappeared behind the fleeing guard. With a swift slash, the man was also silenced.

"Something feels off," Gen muttered, standing over the corpse. Then it struck him. "Where's the system notification? A special jonin should be worth 2,000 points!"

Panicked, he checked his system interface. Seeing the total of 6,000 points, he sighed in relief. "At least it didn't glitch. Still, why is the system slacking on notifications? And what about the points for that genin I killed earlier?"

Grumbling internally, Gen turned his focus back to the mission. A jonin-level ninja was already rushing toward the depot. He couldn't afford to waste time.

With swift hand signs, Gen unleashed:

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Flame Bomb!"

A roaring dragon of fire swept through the depot, igniting a blazing inferno that consumed the grain stores. The flames lit up the night sky, a beacon of destruction.

---

At the main gate, Uchiha Madara stood amidst a circle of Yemuki ninjas, sword in hand. His Sharingan scanned their movements, his single-tomoe spinning lazily. Battling the group with ease, he suddenly noticed the fiery glow in the distance.

"Got it done, huh?" he murmured, a smirk tugging at his lips.

Yemuki clan leader Yukikawa followed his gaze and exclaimed, "The grain depot?!"

Madara seized the moment, performing rapid hand signs.

"Fire Style: Hiding in Ash and Dust Jutsu!"

A cloud of ash erupted, obscuring everyone's vision. Madara chuckled as he dashed toward the depot.

Yukikawa coughed, his expression unreadable as he watched Madara retreat. Then, with deliberate steps, he began following at a measured pace.
