Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 188: Chapter 188

Uchiha Shin did not immediately return to Earth. Instead, he made his way to the forbidden seal on the moon, where his sacred Rinne Sharingan pulsed with an ominous glow, piercing through the layers of the ancient barrier. It resonated with the essence of Kaguya Otsutsuki, trapped within.

A soft, unconscious hum escaped from within the seal, clearer than ever before.

"As expected…" Shin murmured, his eyes narrowing. "The Six Paths: Planetary Devastation is the pinnacle of sealing techniques, forged from the combined forces of Yin and Yang. It carries the power of Hagoromo and Hamura. One wielded the Rinnegan, the other the Tenseigan."

His gaze sharpened, and his smirk widened. "And I have both."

A peculiar connection formed between him and Kaguya—not merely chakra, but something deeper. A collision of soul and essence. He could hear her whispering, even in her dormant state.

His vision cut through the layers of the seal, revealing Kaguya's current state inside the void of the Six Paths: Planetary Devastation. Her form had been stripped down to its core, leaving behind only the purest essence of her existence.

"So this is the soul's origin…" Shin muttered. His fingers twitched with excitement.

Her true body… it was the husk of the Ten-Tails, the very foundation of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

He understood now. When Kaguya consumed the Chakra Fruit, she merged with the beast completely. Even if her body had been extracted and sealed, her bloodline still pulsed through the very fabric of her existence.

"The space-time abilities are nullified inside the seal… but she's in a deep slumber."

Shin studied the barrier intently, his senses brushing against Kaguya's slumbering consciousness. There was a faint, almost imperceptible response—but she remained too deeply submerged to fully acknowledge him.

Perfect.

Even if she still had access to her original power, in this state, she was little more than an entry-level Six Paths being. A mere shadow of her former self.

"Not sure if Kotoamatsukami will work on her… but in this condition, I can overpower her the moment she steps out."

His knowledge of the Six Paths: Planetary Devastation was extensive. He had spent years dissecting its mechanics, refining it, twisting it to his will. Crafting a lesser version was nothing to him.

Kaguya wouldn't be an issue.

"If she resists…" His smirk turned wicked. "I'll seal her again. Lock her in my Kamui dimension and break her down at my leisure."

His fingers itched to carve the Sage's cursed seal into her, branding her as his possession. No matter how powerful she once was, in this state, she was nothing more than a tool waiting to be claimed.

With that thought, Shin wasted no time. His fingers traced intricate patterns through the air, deconstructing the outer layer of the seal. The process of gathering the Tailed Beasts to force Kaguya's revival? Pointless. Unnecessary. He had no need for such primitive rituals.

A half-broken Kaguya was better than none at all.

Yet, as he made his move, far away in the Pure Land, an old man stirred. A figure with the Truth-Seeking Orbs hovering behind him slowly opened his ancient, all-seeing Rinnegan.

Beside him, a second figure materialized, draped in ethereal robes. His eyes shone with the same divine light, carrying the weight of centuries of wisdom and conviction.

"Hamura." Hagoromo's voice was calm, but heavy with meaning. "You cannot continue to ignore this. He has set his sights on Mother."

Otsutsuki Hamura's expression darkened. His arms folded across his chest, his jaw clenched.

"If he releases her, the world will burn," he said flatly.

Hagoromo sighed. He had watched Shin's rise with a mix of wariness and reluctant admiration. The shinobi world had been plagued with endless war, and in some twisted way, Shin's rule had brought stability. He was not the mindless tyrant he pretended to be—he was something more. A conqueror. A ruler.

A necessary evil.

Hamura, however, disagreed. He saw Shin's reign for what it was—a fragile illusion of order that would crumble into chaos the moment he fell. And now, his ambitions had reached too far.

Interfering in the affairs of the living had never been their way. But this… this could not be allowed.

"This cannot be allowed," Hamura echoed, his resolve hardening. "I will handle it."

Hagoromo exhaled slowly. He hated this. Hated that it had come to this. But even he could no longer sit idly by.

Hamura's soul drifted away, descending to the lunar surface like a specter of judgment.

As Shin carefully unraveled the outer layer of the seal, a creeping sensation prickled the back of his mind. A warning. A vision.

A flicker of darkness.

A glimpse of himself, suspended in an endless void, swallowed by the abyss.

"What…?" His breath hitched. "That's never happened before."

His precognition had never failed him, but this was different. He wasn't seeing his death—only a foreboding omen.

He didn't like it.

Something was wrong.

Trusting his instincts, he immediately activated the Flying Thunder God, but in that instant—the seal shifted.

The massive, obsidian sphere distorted. A black void yawned open, spiraling inward with a force beyond comprehension. The entire fabric of space bent under its pull, warping reality itself.

A sudden, overwhelming gravitational force seized him, cutting off his escape.

"What—?!"

His body jerked forward, dragged by an inescapable pull. He barely managed to twist his head, catching a glimpse of the figure standing in the distance, veiled in moonlight. A silhouette of white robes, eyes burning with cold authority.

Hamura.

Uchiha Shin's expression twisted in rage. Realization crashed over him like a tidal wave.

That bastard set him up.

He had anticipated resistance. He had even entertained the possibility of a direct battle with the Sage of Six Paths himself. But this?

This was a trap.

"You…!" His voice was raw with fury.

The force of the seal intensified. His limbs locked, the space around him crushing in. He could feel the Six Paths: Planetary Devastation activating anew, reforging itself with Hamura's direct influence.

He struggled, pushing against the oppressive force, but the technique had been designed by two god-tier beings. Even his monstrous power wasn't enough to break free in an instant.

"Damn it…!"

His mind raced. He wasn't dead. The vision had shown him trapped, not killed. That meant there was still a way out. A chance.

He glared at Hamura, his Sharingan spinning wildly. "You think this will stop me?"

Hamura's expression remained cold. Unyielding. "You will not be allowed to free her."

As the black hole swallowed him, Uchiha Shin's laughter rang through the void—dark, unhinged, and full of defiance.

This wasn't over.

Not by a long shot
