Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 179: Chapter 179

Listening to the ridicule from the main family, Otsutsuki Seitaro's expression remained calm.

However, the branch family members behind him seethed with barely contained fury, their resentment burning like an unquenchable flame.

Hidden in the shadows, Uchiha Shin observed the brewing conflict, his Sharingan glinting as he shook his head, exhaling softly.

"The main family and the branch family were once one," he mused. "Yet now, they tear at each other's throats like rabid dogs. Do they truly believe that sheer numbers grant them an advantage?"

He scoffed. It was foolishness.

In this world, those below the level of the Sage of Six Paths were nothing more than ants. That truth had never been clearer to Shin than now, standing on the precipice of godhood himself.

When he had merely been at Kage level, his chakra reserves were already far beyond the norm, rivaling lesser gods. Yet even then, facing a true Six Paths-level opponent head-on had been an impossibility without resorting to overwhelming skill, intellect, or unorthodox strategies.

Just the passive abilities granted by Six Paths chakra alone—the immunity to most conventional ninjutsu, the sheer difference in destructive power—were enough to render entire armies meaningless. It was the difference between an egg and a boulder. No matter how many eggs you hurled, they would all shatter against the stone.

As Uchiha Shin sighed, the battle erupted.

"Kill them all!!!"

The clan leader's order was given, and the main family launched a relentless barrage of jutsu. Waves of destructive energy roared forth, blotting out the sky in an overwhelming display of power.

Shin narrowed his eyes.

The techniques they wielded were unlike the ones used by shinobi on Earth. These were pure, divine arts—chakra molded into reality without the need for hand seals, each attack bearing the mark of celestial mastery. Their potency far outstripped the jutsu of any ordinary shinobi, even those at Kage level.

Yet Otsutsuki Seitaro, standing before the onslaught, merely smiled—a grin devoid of fear, only contempt.

"You fools." His voice rang clear over the battlefield. "You have no idea what true power is."

Standing before the colossal Tenseigan enshrined atop the altar, Seitaro reached out, his own chakra intertwining with the great eye.

"The Tenseigan awakens!"

At his cry, the massive construct pulsed with an eerie, golden glow. In the blink of an eye, an unfathomable force exploded outward—a repulsive wave that shattered the incoming storm of attacks effortlessly.

BOOM!

The sky trembled under the sheer force of the release, and the warriors of the main family watched in horror as their strongest techniques were rendered meaningless.

Seitaro's laughter echoed in the stunned silence.

"Hahahaha! Now… witness the true power of the Tenseigan!"

"Golden Wheel Reincarnation Burst!"

Before their terrified eyes, Seitaro conjured Truth-Seeking Orbs, the swirling spheres of condensed chakra crackling with godlike potency. In an instant, they stretched and molded into a single, enormous blade of pure energy.

With a single, effortless swing, he carved through the battlefield.

A monstrous golden arc of chakra howled through the air, and the world itself seemed to split apart.

The ground ruptured. The moon's crust cracked, entire sections of its surface flung into the void of space.

Thousands of main family members—descendants of Otsutsuki Hamura—were erased in an instant.

Shin rose from his place among the clouds, exhaling softly.

He had overestimated them.

He had expected at least some resistance. But in the face of the Tenseigan's raw, unfiltered might, they were nothing. In the end, they were no different from the insects they had sought to exterminate.

Still, there was something… lacking.

Otsutsuki Seitaro's control over the Tenseigan was imperfect. The power was immense, but it was borrowed, not owned. Unlike Otsutsuki Toneri, who had integrated the Tenseigan into his very being, Seitaro wielded a construct—a mere imitation.

"They cannot truly harness its full potential."

As the branch family erupted into victorious cheers, Shin stepped forward. He reached out, molding a Truth-Seeking Orb with practiced ease. The dark sphere twisted and elongated, reshaping into a perfectly straight blade.

"Kamui: Spatial Exchange."

In an instant, the Truth-Seeking Sword disappeared.

Reappearing inches from Seitaro's heart.

But just as it was about to pierce through his chest, the omnipresent repulsive force erupted once more.

BANG!

The sword was hurled away, ricocheting off the barrier.

A thin line of blood trickled from Seitaro's chest. He stared down at the shallow wound, his face momentarily blank before twisting into a snarl.

"Who dares?!"

The golden glow of his chakra flared wildly as he entered the Tenseigan Chakra Mode. The wound on his chest sealed shut almost instantly, and his aura surged. Though he had been but a Super-Kage before, now, with the Tenseigan amplifying him, he had fully ascended to the level of a god.

Yet despite the newfound strength crackling around him, the attack had rattled him.

If not for the Tenseigan's enhanced spatial awareness, that strike would have ended him before he even realized what had happened.

Shin sighed, shaking his head.

"This would be easier if you just died," he muttered. "Then I could take the Tenseigan without having to deal with your idiocy."

His Sharingan spun, warping into the Rinnegan as he descended to the battlefield. Though his frame was small, his presence loomed larger than any other. An invisible weight pressed down on the warriors present, a suffocating authority that outstripped anything Seitaro had displayed.

Seitaro's senses sharpened, locking onto Shin's chakra.

And his stomach twisted in dread.

"…He's as strong as me."

No.

Stronger.

His breath hitched as he truly perceived Shin's presence for the first time. The chakra rolling off him was overwhelming, monstrous—an abyss of power that eclipsed even the main family's strongest warriors.

Seitaro's mind raced.

The main family was gone. The only ones left were the women and children hidden away in the palace.

Which meant…

"You're not from the main family." Seitaro's voice was sharp. "You're an outsider. An Earthborn filth that crept its way here."

Shin exhaled through his nose.

He had been in a good mood. Now? Not so much.

"You're no different from the fools you just slaughtered," he muttered. "You just stand on a different side of the line."

Without another word, he raised his hand.

A magatama-forged staff materialized in his grip, the polished black rod glinting in the pale moonlight.

Behind him, nine Truth-Seeking Orbs circled in lazy arcs, humming with suppressed power.

One. Two.

Nine.

A golden blaze erupted along the hem of his cloak, the flames licking upward to form intricate, swirling tomoe patterns.

The battlefield went silent.

The ground cracked beneath his feet, unable to withstand the sheer force of his presence.

And for the first time, Otsutsuki Seitaro felt fear
