Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 178: Chapter 178

Several days passed, and Uchiha Shin dedicated himself to rigorous training on the moon, constantly refining his mastery over his bloodline abilities. His most recent breakthrough was an advanced application of the Flying Thunder God Technique, allowing him to open a personal dimension roughly the size of a basketball court.

Unlike the Kamui dimension, this pocket space had no time constraints, granting him the ability to remain inside indefinitely. The potential of this technique thrilled him, but he knew he needed more power to push further.

"If I want to elevate this technique beyond its limits, I need more than just theoretical deductions. If I could get my hands on Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan, the possibilities would be endless."

Muttering to himself, Shin ended his current session of experimentation. He had reached a temporary standstill in improving the Flying Thunder God Technique, so now his focus shifted to the fusion of Dust Release and Magnetic Release.

Dust Release was already at the atomic level, capable of reducing anything to dust. But what he and Onoki had demonstrated in the past was merely a crude application of its true potential.

"What I want is complete control—absolute dominance."

The fusion of these two Kekkei Tōta was not just theoretical. If he could break down matter at an atomic level while also influencing the microscopic metallic particles through Magnetic Release, he could create something that not even Six Paths-level beings could counter.

A sigh escaped him as he turned his gaze towards the descendants of Ōtsutsuki Hamura. The fluctuations of their Tenseigan energy were growing stronger. His observations had revealed something fascinating—these branch family members were literally sacrificing their lives for the formation of the Tenseigan.

"They're throwing their lives away... even if the Tenseigan manifests, there won't be many of them left to witness its glory. And those who survive… well, let's just say their bodies won't remain intact for long."

Shin's expression remained impassive. The foolishness of the branch family was amusing. Unlike those who once wielded the Tenseigan in legends, they were using an artificial medium—a giant chakra-infused stone—to house the Byakugan energy. The radiation-like effects from this construct were already taking their toll. The prolonged exposure would eventually make reproduction impossible for the survivors, rendering their efforts meaningless.

"According to the memories I extracted from one of them, my arrival has accelerated their internal conflict. Even if they do manage to awaken the Tenseigan, they'll be too weak to wield it effectively."

In the original timeline, someone like Ōtsutsuki Toneri had survived. But here? Shin doubted there would be anyone left if he remained uninvolved.

Smirking, he positioned himself strategically and activated his technique.

"Flying Thunder God: Void Form."

With that, he phased into his personal dimension, ready to observe the unfolding war.

Despite realizing their scouts had been eliminated, the branch family made no further attempts at reconnaissance. Their obsession with completing the Tenseigan had blinded them to everything else. The main family, however, had started to sense that something was off.

They never expected the branch family to be so desperate as to sacrifice their own kin for power. And now, with the Tenseigan on the verge of completion, their worst fears were confirmed.

To accelerate the process, the branch family abandoned the slow extraction of Byakugan. Instead, they resorted to direct life sacrifices—members willingly throwing themselves into the energy source, their bodies dissolving into raw chakra that fed the growing power of the Tenseigan.

"The main family has deployed an army! They're attacking in full force! We don't have enough fighters left to stop them!"

The report sent waves of dread through the remaining branch family members. Their leader, Ōtsutsuki Seitaro, a warrior of immense strength, responded without hesitation.

With a crazed look in his eyes, he reached up and gouged out his own Byakugan with his bare hands.

"For the glory of the branch family!"

Seitaro plunged his own eyes into the Tenseigan vessel. As the purest-blooded member of the branch, his sacrifice sent a ripple of overwhelming power through the moon's surface.

A deafening hum filled the battlefield as the newly formed Tenseigan pulsed with an intense, otherworldly light.

BOOM!

A shockwave erupted, sending elder warriors flying back like ragdolls. The sheer magnitude of the chakra explosion was unlike anything they had ever felt.

Blood dripped from the empty sockets of Ōtsutsuki Seitaro, yet he stood firm, his breath ragged, his body trembling with exhilaration.

"Hahahaha! We did it! We finally did it!"

The massive Tenseigan now floated behind him, radiating an aura of destruction. Though he hadn't undergone the full transformation to gain his own Tenseigan, he had successfully bonded with the energy of the giant eye. Now, he could channel its immense power at will.

"The branch family's victory is inevitable!"

The remaining fighters roared in unison, their spirits reignited. Meanwhile, the main family forces advancing toward them felt an inexplicable sense of dread settle in their hearts.

The head of the main family—a warrior even stronger than Seitaro—furrowed his brows.

"That glow… have they truly succeeded in manifesting the Tenseigan?"

For the first time, a hint of unease crept into his expression. But alongside that unease was anger.

"These traitors have defiled our ancestors' teachings! They've crossed a forbidden line!"

Though the main family advocated peace, they were far from pacifists. The divide between them and the branch family was similar to that of the Hyūga Clan—but far worse. Here on the moon, the oppression was absolute.

The branch family had been relegated to the outer regions, treated as nothing more than disposable servants. While no cursed seals bound them like the Hyūga's caged bird seal, the discrimination was entrenched in their very way of life.

A thousand years of resentment had finally reached its boiling point.

"We cannot allow them to wield that power!"

"Kill them all! Every last one of them!"

Fueled by rage, the main family warriors charged forward. They refused to let the so-called inferiors rise above them.

Standing at the forefront of the battlefield, Ōtsutsuki Seitaro smiled despite his blindness.

The branch family was heavily outnumbered. Their forces were weakened beyond measure. But with the Tenseigan's power at his disposal, none of that mattered anymore.

As he stepped forward, the main family warriors sneered at his condition.

"Even you, Seitaro? You sacrificed your own eyes? You really are a fool."

They laughed, confident in their overwhelming advantage. The branch family had dwindled to a mere fraction of their former numbers. Even with the Tenseigan, what could a handful of battered, desperate warriors possibly accomplish?

But as Seitaro raised his hand, the Tenseigan pulsed once more.

And the battlefield was consumed in light.

Hidden within his personal dimension, Uchiha Shin smirked.

"This should be interesting."
