Seeing Pakura being taken away by Mikoto, Uchiha Shin asked casually, "Why let Pakura learn Mikoto's business?"
"Of course, it's because Mikoto's position needs to be temporarily filled. You stinky bastard were so busy playing around that you didn't even notice she's pregnant!" Tsunade scoffed, crossing her arms.
"Ah… I really didn't notice that."
Shin had never carefully examined Mikoto's body, so how could he have noticed? From the outside, her belly was still flat, and her figure remained as alluring as ever. She didn't look pregnant at all.
Tsunade rolled her eyes. "The examination I did was only half a month ago. Kushina, Kanako, and the others are the same. I'd wager it's all from the last time."
Shin's eyes lit up, and he immediately reached out, pressing his hand against Tsunade's soft stomach.
"What about you?"
"..."
Tsunade shot him a glare before slapping his hand away with enough force to make a normal man reconsider his life choices.
"Don't even think about it. I have no such plans at the moment," she huffed. "And who would take over my job if I left? You?"
The mere thought made Shin recoil. "Hell no. It's great that you're handling the Fire Nation's affairs. Tsunade, you're practically the queen now. If I were in charge, well… let's just say things might turn into an unpredictable mess."
As much as he enjoyed power, politics bored him to death. If he had to deal with those sniveling nobles and self-important council members, he'd probably end up slaughtering half of them just to make the meetings more bearable.
Hearing his excuse, Tsunade's eyebrow twitched in irritation. She reached out, pinching his waist hard enough to make him yelp.
"You lazy bastard, you don't know how to govern, you just know how to enjoy yourself. I'm not the queen of the Fire Nation, I'm just your damn workhorse!"
Hearing her choice of words, Shin smirked. "Well, if we're talking about workhorses, I'd say I do my part too. I mean, I provide you with plenty of… milk to keep you strong, don't I?"
"Go to hell!"
Tsunade didn't hesitate to deliver a swift kick to his shin, her black stocking-clad leg striking with practiced precision. Shin yelped, but he was mostly faking it, enjoying the banter.
After playing around for a while, she finally calmed down. As usual, Shin used her as his personal chair while they discussed more pressing matters.
"The Land of Water was conquered quickly. You even installed a Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi. That relationship must be… special."
Shin chuckled. "Not as special as us, of course."
He wrapped an arm around her slender waist, pulling her close with a mischievous grin. Tsunade blushed slightly but didn't resist, simply resting her hands on his arm in mock annoyance.
"Regardless, the occupation is nearly complete," she continued. "We eliminated the Daimyo and took over the capital. It'll take another two months to subdue the remaining cities."
She took a deep breath before dropping the real bombshell. "The war will soon escalate. Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Kumogakure are about to hold a Three Kage Summit. I'd bet my sake stash they're planning how to deal with us."
Shin shrugged. "Let them. I don't care."
He genuinely didn't. If he wanted, he could wipe them all out in a single night. But that would take too much effort, and frankly, he had better things to do—like getting stronger and indulging in life's finer pleasures.
Tsunade understood his mindset, so she didn't push the topic further. Instead, she brought up something he had been searching for.
"We've found some results regarding that special cave you wanted. We identified five possible locations and took photos. Here, take a look."
As she leaned forward to open the drawer, the shift caused her to nearly fall, but Shin caught her easily. He chuckled as she steadied herself before handing him the sealed document.
She rested her head on the table as Shin examined the photos.
"Uh, no."
"Not quite."
"Hmm… Tsunade, don't move."

After flipping through all of them, Shin finally found one that stood out. His eyes gleamed with excitement.
"This one. This looks promising."
But his moment of triumph was short-lived. When he turned back, Tsunade was completely out cold, her body slumped against the table.
Shin smirked and gave her a playful slap on the rear.
"Yep, she's out."
With no other choice, he called for Kanako to clean up the scene.
Kanako arrived quickly, taking one look at Tsunade before sighing. "Lady Tsunade is so pitiful. How long will she be out?"
She knew very well how terrifying Shin's stamina was.
Shin waved a hand dismissively. "She'll be fine. Tsunade's mastery of Yang Release is leagues above yours. Worry about yourself first."
Kanako huffed but didn't argue. Instead, she switched topics with a disgruntled sigh.
"Master, I don't know what kind of spell you put on my students, but they won't shut up about seeing you. They're practically obsessed."
This wasn't just her problem either. Kushina was dealing with the same thing, and oddly enough, the loudest among them was Senju Mebuki.
Shin grinned, hands on his hips. "Well, what can I say? I'm irresistible."
Kanako rolled her eyes, but she didn't entirely disagree.
Before she could leave, Shin placed a hand on her stomach, rubbing it gently. "Don't stress. You should focus on taking care of yourself now. When the time comes, I'll take over for you."
Kanako's heart softened immediately. She nodded tenderly, all resentment fading away.
As she carried Tsunade out, she couldn't help but glance at her own chest with envy.
"I heard they get bigger after childbirth… Maybe I'll catch up to Lady Tsunade…"
With that motivation in mind, she carried her mistress away while Shin slipped off, heading toward the cave at top speed.
