Naruto: Awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Unify the Ninja World

Chapter 173: Chapter 173

Pakura didn't ask any questions in the end, and she didn't think Uchiha Shin would willingly reveal his intentions.

But soon, she realized just how precarious her situation was.

Was she a prisoner of Uchiha Shin?

Should she escape at the first opportunity?

But if she ran… where could she even go? ..

Doubt gnawed at her mind, each question heavier than the last.

Her parents had long since passed, and the very village she had dedicated her life to had discarded her like garbage.

The world was vast, yet there seemed to be no place for her anymore.

A hollow emptiness settled in Pakura's chest, loneliness creeping in like an unwanted specter.

Then, suddenly, she was lifted from the water, Uchiha Shin's firm grip tightening around her slender waist as he effortlessly carried her out of the pool.

"Enough soaking. Any longer and you'll shrivel up."

His casual words jolted her back to reality.

Pakura barely had time to register the embarrassment of her current position before she turned to him, her gaze steady. "What do you plan to do with me?"

"Are you confused about your position?"

Even without the Sharingan's insight, Uchiha Shin could read the uncertainty in her expression.

He reached out, tilting her chin upward with two fingers.

Her emerald eyes flickered, her long lashes trembled slightly, and her flawless skin, kissed with a faint blush, only enhanced the delicate contrast of her sharp features. Her lips, soft and inviting, parted slightly as she inhaled.

Uchiha Shin had his answer.

He pulled her closer, his grip possessive, his touch unyielding.

"You belong to me now, Pakura. You are mine—my possession, my property."

His voice was like iron, absolute.

"How I deal with you is entirely up to me."

His crimson gaze burned into hers. "As my possession, I will allow you to voice your grievances. You feel betrayed. You crave vengeance against the Sand Village."

His lips curled into a smirk. "Good. I will give you that purpose."

"From now on, you will fight for me. You will join the Fire Nation's frontlines and carve a path of destruction through the Sand Village."

He leaned in, his breath hot against her skin. "Your only goal for the rest of your life… is to serve me with everything you have."

The sheer dominance in his words should have terrified her.

But instead, it sent a shiver down her spine—an intoxicating mix of fear and… something else. Something dangerously close to purpose.

For the first time since her betrayal, she felt needed.

A new cause. A new place to belong.

The realization sent her heart racing. Against all reason, she wanted to close the gap between them, to lose herself in the heat of the moment.

Her mind screamed at her, but emotion drowned out logic.

"Aahhh… I'm so damn exhausted… and my mouth is sore as hell."

Dragging her tired body into her home, Mei Terumi groaned, rubbing her aching jaw.

Being the Mizukage wasn't easy, and the absurd workload was taking its toll on her.

Even worse, despite her official title, she wasn't truly in charge.

Because her so-called authority?

Completely shackled by Uchiha Shin.

He let her run the village, but only under his watchful gaze. And occasionally, he would drop in… to remind her exactly who was in control.

Mei inhaled deeply as she stepped into her mansion, only for her sharp senses to immediately pick up on something—

A scent.

Uchiha Shin's scent… and someone else's mixed with it.

Her mind immediately flickered to possibilities. "Yuki? No, she's still sorting documents in the office…"

Before she could process further, the wooden door swung open, and a firm grip yanked her inside.

She barely had time to react before she was pulled into the chaos.

It was an… intense introduction.

When she finally regained her breath, she found herself staring at another woman.

Pakura.

"…Pakura? The Sand Village's sacrificial pawn?"

"What do you mean, sacrificial pawn? And you—aren't you supposed to be the Fifth Mizukage? The Fourth was still in power last I checked."

Mei let out a wry laugh. "Uchiha Shin happened. He killed Yagura, and I was 'promoted' in his place."

"…Tch."

Their eyes met, and then—

They turned their attention to Uchiha Shin, realization dawning.

This man wasn't just physically monstrous—his ambition, his sheer force of will, it was overwhelming.

Silently, they cursed him in their minds, but their bodies betrayed their thoughts, exhaustion setting in.

On the other side of the world, war raged on.

The invasion of the Land of Water by the Land of Fire had reached its climax.

With the Hidden Mist already under Uchiha Shin's control, the resistance in the Water Country was swiftly crushed.

The Fire Nation's forces moved with terrifying efficiency, executing a perfect blitzkrieg strategy—a term Shin had once introduced, baffling the older shinobi commanders.

Thanks to advanced scouting via high-altitude reconnaissance, the shinobi forces coordinated their attacks with precision, and within a week, the Land of Water fell completely.

By the time the news reached the Sand Village, Iwagakure, and Kumogakure, it was too late.

"The Land of Fire is attacking the Land of Water?!"

Rasa slammed his fist on the table, his face a mask of frustration, while Chiyo, standing beside him, sighed heavily.

"It's worse than that," she muttered. "The war is already over."

Fear spread through the war room. No one had expected this.

The Fire Nation had struck first, countering their long-planned strategy before they could even act.

But what terrified them most wasn't the speed of the invasion.

It was how decisively it had been won.

The Land of Water—one of the Five Great Nations—had fallen in a single week.

Rumors swirled of Uchiha Shin's personal involvement, but even then, the sheer one-sided nature of the conflict was beyond comprehension.

"…We can't afford to hesitate any longer."

Rasa's voice was grim. "We need to form alliances immediately."

Chiyo didn't argue. They didn't even discuss Pakura.

She was presumed dead the moment she had been sent to Kirigakure.

Meanwhile, back in Konoha, Uchiha Shin led Pakura into the village.

Another trophy. Another conquest.

Tsunade, clad in casual wear with a tight black bodysuit underneath, barely reacted to his return. She simply exhaled, exasperated.

She already knew.

Every time Shin left, he returned with another woman.

"You brought back another one, huh? Name? Village? Tell me so I can assign her a place to stay."

She didn't even blink as she spoke.

Uchiha Shin, shameless as ever, didn't bother with excuses. "Pakura. Formerly of the Sand Village. She knew Karura once, so she'll stay with her."

Tsunade clicked her tongue. "You plan things too damn well."

Her sharp golden eyes narrowed, her long legs shifting as if contemplating kicking him.

Shin simply smirked.

Tsunade was too tired to argue, so she waved over Mikoto Uchiha, who arrived in her sleek Anbu uniform.

"Mikoto, take Pakura with you. Teach her how to manage paperwork."

Mikoto's lips curled into a knowing smile as she shot Shin a playful glare. "Understood."

As she led Pakura away, her mind wandered.

Uchiha Shin's strength was absurd. His stamina… inhuman.

She had long given up on resisting him alone. Now, she had another strategy.

Gather allies.

Because facing Uchiha Shin alone?

Impossible.

And every woman who tried… learned that the hard way
