Naruto: All Genders are reversed except for me

Chapter 49: Chapter 49

The academy's large group arrived.

When they saw the scene before the small ramen shop—packed with people—curiosity sparked in each of their eyes.

However, many of the children who had just finished school were less than pleased. With such a long line, it seemed they'd be waiting until tomorrow to get their food.

In contrast to the barbecue stalls outside, Hong Le was handling things more smoothly.

Inside the shop, Auntie Yile and Chang Pu were working non-stop.

"Boss, I've been waiting for half an hour! Where's my ramen? I want the 'National Hero's Unrivaled' noodles!"

"Yes, I've been waiting almost twenty minutes as well, Auntie Yile, hurry up!"

With the customers urging them, Auntie Yile sped up her actions, while Chang Pu kept apologizing to the customers.

However, when Naruto and Sasuke arrived in the kitchen, Auntie Yile's mood lifted instantly.

"Get to work quickly! There are over 500 bowls ordered!" Auntie Yile couldn't get used to calling Naruto 'Little Master' in front of others.

Naruto smiled at her. "No problem."

Naruto wasn't exactly popular in the area. Without some sort of disguise, even 'National Hero's Unrivaled' noodles wouldn't attract many customers.

So, before arriving at the Yile Ramen shop, Naruto had used a transformation technique to alter his appearance slightly.

With Naruto mastering the ramen-making techniques at a master level, his movements were faster than Auntie Yile's.

Sasuke, meanwhile, was by Chang Pu's side, helping her with preparations.

"National Hero's Unrivaled, 20 bowls, single-number customer, please come pick up your order!"

"Unrivaled noodles, 20 bowls out, single-number..."

As Naruto and Auntie Yile worked faster, constantly sending out twenty bowls at a time, Chang Pu was calling out each order.

Although Sasuke was displeased, thinking that doing such tasks wouldn't increase her strength, Naruto had assured her that following orders would eventually help her gain power.

As the hours passed, Naruto, Sasuke, Auntie Yile, Hong Le, and the others spent two hours working at this intense pace.

By 8 PM, Yile Ramen and Hong Le's Absolute Flavor Barbecue were both sold out.

Indeed, they had anticipated a lot of customers, but not to this extent.

Fifteen large barrels of noodles and various skewers were cleared out, not a single piece left.

"I'm really sorry, everyone! All the ramen and skewers have sold out for today. Please come back tomorrow."

"What? I've been waiting for an hour and now it's all gone?"

"Boss, this isn't right. My kid's waiting at home for me to bring back Absolute Flavor skewers!"

Faced with the complaints of the customers, Auntie Yile and Hong Le could only apologize. They had underestimated how successful Naruto's marketing skills were.

Eventually, Auntie Yile and Hong Le promised that customers who hadn't managed to get ramen or barbecue today could still use their queue numbers to buy ahead tomorrow.

This calmed most of the disgruntled customers, and they reluctantly left.

Once the customers had dispersed, the shop was quiet again.

While Auntie Yile and Hong Le were fine, Chang Pu and Hong Le's three apprentices had truly hit their limit, collapsing on the floor and gasping for breath.

Sasuke, too, had beads of sweat on her forehead, clearly showing that the intense work had taken its toll on her as well.

"Good. First day, mission accomplished," Naruto said, exhaling with relief as he looked at Auntie Yile and Hong Le. "Tomorrow and the day after will be peak times. How far Yile Ramen and Hong Le Barbecue can go depends on you two."

"Yes, Master!"

"Understood. We won't have today's problems again tomorrow."

Chang Pu and the three apprentices went outside to clear the tables, leaving only Naruto, Sasuke, Auntie Yile, and Hong Le inside, so the conversation became a bit more relaxed.

"Tomorrow, you should get a few more helpers. We'll pay well."

"Yes, Master."

Naruto then stood up and walked towards the kitchen's exit with Sasuke.

"Master, what about your share of the profit?"

Naruto grinned. "We'll do it at the end of the month. It'll be easier to calculate then."

Before they could react, Naruto had already left Yile Ramen, with Sasuke in tow.

That's right, Naruto wouldn't know the financials until the end of the month when they did an inventory. At that time, he would directly take 20% of the net profit.

Yes, 20% of the net profit.

This commission was already quite extravagant.

Considering that Naruto had hardly spent any money, the costs for taxes, the store, raw materials, labor, and gas were all significant. And since the industrial level in the world of Naruto wasn't advanced, the costs for each of these steps were much higher than in his previous world.

Around 8:30 PM, Naruto went to a nearby shop and bought a variety of ingredients.

As expected, when he paid, Naruto grinned.

Just two slices of beef and some vegetables cost him 300 silver coins.

Naruto returned home with Sasuke and immediately started preparing dinner.

Yes, when they left Yile Ramen, no one had eaten.

Not only were they exhausted, but all the prepared ingredients had also been sold out.

At first, Sasuke had been reluctant when Naruto suggested they eat at his house, especially since she was a girl.

However, when Naruto said, "I'll cook you a meal you've never had before," Sasuke nodded in agreement.

She was truly hungry, and the thought of going home and having to cook herself was more than she could handle.

"I'm home."

Naruto was a little happy as he brought Sasuke inside, since it felt a bit livelier with someone around.

After entering the house, Naruto went straight to the kitchen, while Sasuke hesitated. She wasn't sure where to sit, and just stood there, feeling a little guilty watching Naruto move about.

"Naruto, do you need help with anything?" Sasuke finally asked.

"No, I'm fine," Naruto replied as he paused, then turned and smiled brightly. "Ahem, Sasuke, if you really want to help, can you wash the clothes soaking in the bathroom for me?"

Upon hearing this, Sasuke's face darkened immediately.

"Don't get any ideas. Why would I wash your clothes? Who do you think I am?"

"Heh, who are you? You're my girlfriend now. Isn't it perfectly logical for a girlfriend to do the laundry for her boyfriend?" Naruto explained. "Look, I cook for you, and you wash my clothes for me. Doesn't that seem fair?"

Sasuke was momentarily speechless.

"Hmph, temporary girlfriend."

"Oh? Even if you're a temporary girlfriend, you should still do your girlfriend duties, right? Hurry up and get to it. A chef's mood affects the flavor of the food, you know?"

Upon hearing this, Sasuke scoffed and stormed off toward the bathroom.

"That's the spirit, Sasuke!"

"Stop talking, I'm starving! Hurry up and cook. If it doesn't taste good, you'll be in trouble!"

Sasuke's angry words came from the bathroom, and Naruto couldn't help but smile.

"Got it…"

About twenty minutes later, Naruto and Sasuke sat down at the table, two large plates of food in front of them. The dishes on the plates were ones Sasuke had never seen before.

"What's this called?" Sasuke asked, curious.

"Ahem, this is called the Dream Steak Set," Naruto said, knowing it sounded quite fantastical, especially since it resembled a steak set from his previous world.

"Dream Steak Set?" Sasuke frowned, eyeing the sharp kunai on the table. "And what's this kunai for?"

"Oh, that's the utensil for eating steak."

Naruto said as he picked up his own kunai and sliced a piece of steak to eat.

"Mmm, yup, that's the feeling, that's the taste."

Sasuke mimicked him, picking up the kunai and carefully stabbing a piece of broccoli to try.

The garlic broccoli flavor hit her taste buds with such force that it left her stunned.

Seeing Sasuke's reaction, Naruto explained, "What you see might be just one dish, but in reality, it's a combination of four different delicacies: garlic broccoli, river-style noodles, secret pan-seared steak, and fiery egg. Put together, they make up the Dream Steak Set."

Seeing Sasuke's shocked expression, Naruto added, "You know, I wouldn't make such complicated food for just anyone. You've got to be someone I like and who listens to me."

Sasuke's cheeks flushed. The four completely different flavors, one after another, excited her taste buds. She believed Naruto's words.

"Hmph, it's only okay, really."

When Sasuke tried to play it tough, Naruto couldn't help but laugh. "If anyone's good at playing tough, it's you."
