After obtaining the Sealed Artifact formed from the Clown's characteristics, Leyton left with Paz and headed to the Crimson Advanced Hospital where Paz's master, Eliza, was located.

"Aren't we supposed to wait here for that person from earlier, meow?" Paz asked curiously.

"That was just an excuse I made to pick up the Sealed Artifact formed from the Clown's characteristics," Leyton said, waving the coat he had rolled into a ball in his hand.

This coat was being used as a package to store the Great Magician's Top Hat. Due to the special nature of that top hat as a weapon, even just holding it in his hand counted as using it, even if he wasn't wearing it. Yaz he held the hat for longer, Leyton clearly felt his temper gradually becoming more irritable, so he had to find a way to isolate himself from direct contact with the Great Magician's Top Hat.

"But what if we encounter other Clowns, meow?" Paz asked with some concern.

"Uther is ahead of us, and even if we do encounter one, it should be a Clown with low health. Those Law Enforcers and members of the Church of the Earth Mother are at least Uther's level, or even stronger," Leyton explained.

"Meow! You're so cunning! Eliza is right, humans are indeed cunning and terrifying creatures," Paz said, staring warily at Leyton.

"What kind of things does Eliza teach you all day long! What a waste of a good cat to have such a mouth," Leyton complained speechlessly.

"Meow~ You're not allowed to speak ill of Eliza! And you're not allowed to speak ill of me!" Paz retorted loudly.

"Okay! You're not allowed to speak ill of me either!" Leyton said.

"I didn't say anything bad about you, meow, that's the tru-"

"Hm?" Leyton interrupted Paz's words with a threatening tone.

"Meow~" The quick-witted cat quickly caved.

A moment of silence fell. Leyton and Paz, one human and one cat, walked forward in silence. The crimson moon brought a different atmosphere to the quiet street, as if something was brewing in the dark.

"Why do I feel so uneasy? But my spiritual intuition hasn't given me any premonitions," Leyton thought as he walked down the road, feeling uneasy but unable to pinpoint the reason.

"Meow~ Me too, Paz feels panicked, it's like something bad is happening. Should we go back, meow?" Paz said, expressing his own feeling of panic and timidly suggesting they return the way they came.

"Don't you think it's too late to turn back now?" Leyton stopped, holding the reloaded gun tightly in his hand, staring ahead.

Ahead, a group of bats fluttered by, then gathered in a place not illuminated by the gas streetlights, transforming into a figure wearing a long black trench coat, a red vest underneath, relatively fitted dark red breeches and long black boots. His face was unclear, but it was evident that he was tall and thin, extremely upright, with light-colored, almost silver hair and bright red eyes, like hidden blood.

The figure also noticed Leyton and Paz standing there. His eyes widened for a moment, then he warily sized up Leyton, as if he would attack at the slightest movement.

"It's Yaz, meow!" Paz said excitedly.

"Yaz, meow? What kind of breed is that, meow? Can it turn into a human?" Leyton joked with Paz to ease the tension in his heart.

Judging from Paz's reaction, the person shouldn't be an enemy. And with those eyes and that attire, he looked like a Sanguine. Leyton thought of Eliza's brother, the Sanguine whose collection was stolen by the Clown.

"Clearly, I am not a cat, but a Sanguine. Why is Paz by your side? Did you steal him? What is your relationship with that Clown?" Yaz had obviously heard the exchange between Leyton and Paz, and he slightly lowered his guard and walked over, though his eyes were still wary as he looked at Leyton.

As he got closer, Leyton finally saw the person's face clearly. His skin was very pale, the kind of paleness that comes from not seeing sunlight for a long time. His eyes were bright red, like hidden blood, his nose was straight, and his lips were as red as if stained with blood. His facial features were distinct, and he looked to be about twenty years old, though his actual age was unknown. Anyone who saw his face would think he was a remarkably handsome young gentleman.

"Paz? He insisted on staying by my side. As for my relationship with the Clown, we just had a fight, a fight where I killed one of the Clowns," Leyton said, tilting his head to meet the other's gaze.

"Killed a Clown? You?" Yaz didn't quite believe Leyton's words. He was a Sanguine in the Crimson Advanced Hospital, and he believed he knew more about the Clowns than these outsiders. Therefore, he knew even more about the Clowns' terror. If it weren't for something very important in the hospital, he would have taken his sister and left this city long ago.

"Me too, me too, meow!" Paz said, excitedly raising his paw.

Yaz frowned involuntarily. Although he didn't believe Leyton, he still believed his sister's pet cat. Although this cat was a bit playful, it wouldn't lie about such things.

"If you don't want to believe it, so be it. But that Clown forcibly split himself into three, and is currently fighting the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom and the Church of the Earth Mother. The one we killed was just one of them, maybe even the weakest one. He was only Sequence 8, but he had characteristics from more than one pathway, so the combined power he could exert would definitely exceed that level. I imagine the other two avatars are about the same. Were you so disheveled just now because you encountered one of them?" Leyton quietly activated Rapid Thought, trying to observe any different reactions from the other person.

Yaz was silent for a long time before speaking again: "I do know about that, but I didn't encounter a Clown. I was fighting with the people from the Church."

"Why, meow?" Paz hurriedly asked.

"For a secret!" Leyton answered for Yaz.

Yaz's gaze towards Leyton became cold again, as if he was considering whether to take action and eliminate the other person right now.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm guessing. You guys are being too obvious, not even trying to hide it. It's not just me, basically the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom and the Church of the Earth Mother should all know some information, but both sides have their own plans, so the three of you seem to have reached some kind of balance, but with the appearance of the Clown, that balance is about to be broken," Leyton said, using Rapid Thought to constantly recall his experiences over the past few days and the information he knew, making a bold guess, and Yaz could just let him verify this guess.

"Meow~" Paz stared with big cat eyes at the two people facing each other. Clearly, he knew both of them, and understood them both, but they both looked so strange now.

Sighing, Yaz withdrew his aura and said helplessly: "The balance has already been broken. The problem now is that things are a bit beyond their control. I don't know if they can clean up this mess in the end."

He added: "But no matter what, Eliza and I can't stay in Feynapotter anymore. I plan to take Eliza away from here tomorrow. Paz, are you staying or coming with us? If you come with us, you'll never have the same life as before."

"Leave here, meow~" Paz looked at Leyton, his eyes full of reluctance.

"It's okay if you don't want to leave. They won't make things difficult for a cat like you, and you have this person from the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom by your side to vouch for you," Yaz stopped before he finished speaking.

"Can you keep my high-grade cat food and special dried fish, meow! If not, just keep the special dried fish, I'll have Eliza write a letter later, and you can send it to me," Paz's reluctance was all for the special dried fish and high-grade cat food that Leyton had promised before.

Leyton's mouth twitched. He shouldn't have had any expectations for this cat. It only had its dried fish and the Cat Commando in its eyes.

"Okay, if you go to Loen or the sea later, I'll personally send it to you," Leyton said speechlessly.

"Okay, meow!" Paz's sad and reluctant emotions instantly cleared, and he turned and ran to Yaz's side.

Yaz looked at Paz, who had happily run to his side, and nodded in satisfaction, then looked at Leyton again and said: "You don't plan to stay in the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom forever?"

"Staying in the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom doesn't mean staying here. Coming to this world, I have to go and see this world properly, don't I? Only by walking and seeing can you experience the weight of knowledge," Leyton, who wanted to make up a reason to muddle through, actually spoke his true thoughts after opening his mouth.

"Your thoughts are really special, different from the people in the Church of the God of Knowledge of Wisdom I've met. To be precise, you are different from most of the people I've met. I look forward to the day we meet again," Yaz finally showed his kind smile.

"You are also different from most of the Sanguine I know. I hope you have a smooth journey," Leyton nodded.

"Why? Do you know the Sanguine very well?" Yaz asked with a puzzled expression.

"I know a little, as far as I know, some Sanguine seem to have a hobby of collecting various dolls," Leyton suddenly had the idea to tease the other person, looking at the Sanguine's serious appearance.

The face of Yaz opposite him instantly darkened, and he quickly disappeared into the night with Paz in his arms.
