Meanwhile, beyond Earth's atmosphere, Jiang Chen's pod had already exited the solar system.

Compared to the journey to Namek, reaching Yardrat was a much longer ordeal— it lay at the very edge of the eastern sector of the North Galaxy.

This remoteness was the key reason the Frieza Force had yet to discover it.

Even with the speed of his pod, the trip would take nearly a year.

A long journey, indeed, but one for which Jiang Chen was well prepared.

Time was on his side.

His Log In this time had allowed him a ten-year span, and only two had elapsed thus far. This meant he had ample time not only to reach Yardrat but also to take some detours.

Perhaps he could track down Bardock's surviving squadmates.

Or, better yet— engage in battle.

At the thought of combat, Jiang Chen glanced at the two capsules in his hand.

They contained 2,500 Senzu Beans, gifted/taken from Korin (Sennin).

With these, along with his ability to survive in space, he could afford to take risks.

After all, Saiyans didn't just grow through training— they thrived on battle.

Especially now that his foundational training was complete. Real combat was the fastest path forward.

"Frieza…" Jiang Chen's eyes gleamed with anticipation.

He knew the Frieza Force was teeming with warriors.

Zarbon and Dodoria were no longer a challenge for him, but the elite Ginyu Force remained.

Each of them boasted a base power level higher than his, making them the perfect stepping stones for growth.

The pod hurtled through the vast cosmos, leaving the Milky Way and closing in on the North Galaxy's eastern reaches.

Inside, Jiang Chen continued his rigorous training.

With a power level exceeding 30,000, he consistently maintained a training environment at 30 times Earth's gravity.

During intense sessions, he pushed it to 50 times.

Had his Saiyan body been fully matured rather than still in childhood, he might have attempted 100 times gravity— just as Goku would in the future.

Time flowed steadily and a month passed in the blink of an eye.

During this time, Jiang Chen's pod traversed countless star systems, drawing nearer to the core of the North Galaxy.

The central sector was home to the Frieza Force's headquarters— the heart of the tyrant's dominion.

For over a decade, nearly all of it had fallen under Frieza's iron grip.

In deep space, a colossal battle station floated.

Alien soldiers bustled about, each fulfilling their assigned tasks with precision.

This was the Frieza Force's main base— its command center.

From here, Frieza's influence extended across the stars.

His dominion had even reached neighboring galaxies.

"Ohohoho, my dear brother, this isn't exactly good news."

"It seems some of those Saiyan pests have slipped past your grasp."

Before a massive display screen, the visage of Cooler flickered into view.

With a smirk, Frieza lounged in his hover chair, responding with casual amusement.

"Oh, Cooler, dear brother. I must remind you— I am under no obligation to clean up your mess. Those monkeys might not even be in my sector."

Cooler scoffed.

"My dear brother, excuses will get you nowhere."

"But no matter. If we cannot locate them, I suppose they aren't worth the effort. After all, they're just remnants of a dying breed."

Frieza chuckled, unconcerned by Cooler's dismissive attitude.

In truth, he had never regarded his elder brother with much respect.

Born with superior battle power, Frieza's potential had far surpassed Cooler's from the very beginning.

"Is that so?" Cooler's expression remained unreadable. "Frieza, let me give you a warning— your arrogance may cost you dearly."

"The Saiyans still have their legend." He sneered.

"A legend? My dear brother, surely you don't still believe in that fairy tale?"

"The so-called Super Saiyan? Hah! A mere bedtime story for primitive apes."

Frieza's laughter echoed through the chamber, laced with mockery.

"Is that so?" Cooler's tone was indifferent, then the transmission abruptly cut off.

"Foolish brother." Frieza chuckled once more before dismissing the conversation entirely.

There was a time when he had feared the Saiyans, but now?

They were nothing but insects.

Super Saiyan?

It was a myth, nothing more.

At the heart of the Frieza Force's domain, Frieza and Cooler remained unaware of Jiang Chen's movements. His spaceship had now passed through the western reaches of the North Area and entered its central zone.

Within a week, his presence was exposed— not due to Frieza's absolute control over the region, nor because Jiang Chen had deliberately revealed himself, but rather due to an unforeseen skirmish.

During a chance encounter, Jiang Chen found himself among Frieza's subordinates. Having made no effort to conceal his identity, his Saiyan tail instantly gave him away.

With the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Frieza's forces had been focused on hunting down any surviving Saiyans. In less than two years, nearly all known Saiyan survivors had been eliminated. So, the sudden appearance of one naturally set off alarm bells within the Frieza Force.

Without hesitation, many of Frieza's underlings launched an attack on Jiang Chen.

The outcome, however, was inevitable.

Jiang Chen's battle power had already surpassed 30,000. Against enemies whose strength barely reached 5,000, the battle was over before it even began.

In a single encounter, an elite squadron of Frieza's army was wiped out. Their spaceship followed soon after, reduced to scrap at Jiang Chen's hands.

But this battle had unintended consequences— his actions were quickly reported to Frieza's headquarters.

"Ohohoho… a Saiyan monkey?"

"To think one actually slipped through the cracks."

Frieza's eyes gleamed with amusement as he reviewed the report.

"Contact Zarbon and Dodoria."

"Yes, Frieza Sama!"

Moments later, two holographic screens flickered to life, revealing the figures of Zarbon and Dodoria. Even through the transmission, both immediately dropped to one knee, their expressions filled with reverence.

"Zarbon San, Dodoria San," Frieza said with a smirk. "A Saiyan has appeared within the western North Area. Take care of it."

"Yes, Frieza Sama!"

"Understood, Frieza Sama!"

Neither hesitated, and soon, two spaceships departed from Frieza's stronghold, heading straight for Jiang Chen's location.

Meanwhile, having confirmed Frieza's absence from the region, Jiang Chen made no effort to hide his movements. Instead, he pressed forward, destroying two additional Frieza Force outposts along the way.

These bases weren't insignificant— the strongest warrior stationed at one of them boasted a battle power of 12,000. But for Jiang Chen, this was hardly a challenge.

To avoid drawing too much attention, he deliberately suppressed his strength, displaying only around 15,000 battle power. It was an impressive number, but not enough to warrant an extreme response from Frieza himself.

And his strategy proved effective.

As Jiang Chen continued eradicating Frieza's forces, he intercepted fresh intelligence— Zarbon and Dodoria, originally tasked with capturing Raditz, were now being sent after him.

"Zarbon and Dodoria, huh?"

"Maybe I've been holding back too much."

Jiang Chen chuckled, shaking his head. He knew that if he had fully unleashed his 30,000 battle power, it wouldn't be just Zarbon and Dodoria hunting him down. The entire Ginyu Force, or even Frieza himself, might intervene.

Despite his arrogant dismissal of the Super Saiyan legend, Frieza was undoubtedly wary of it. A battle power surpassing 30,000 was enough to raise serious concerns.

Even within the Ginyu Force, only a handful could match such strength. And with the Saiyan ability to transform into a Great Ape, an enemy with 30,000 battle power could temporarily surge beyond 300,000— an overwhelming threat to most of Frieza's forces.

That was something Frieza wouldn't ignore.

But Jiang Chen knew the reality of the situation. Even with his Great Ape transformation, he still wasn't a match for Frieza's first form. If Frieza descended personally, it would be disastrous.

With that thought in mind, he resumed his training aboard his spaceship.
