Metal Lord: Murder Drones

As I finally made it to the spire of dead drones. Got to admit seeing all these dead drones do put me on edge. But I can't dwell on that right now, now I need to prepare for whatever happens next. So for now I decided to hide on top of the bunker. I'm hoping that I am here before the plot of the story. 

As I was contemplating this as I heard some sort of noise at the door of the bunker. So I decided to climb down from the roof as I press my "ears" against the door and listen. "Umm. . . sneaking out to make out with my boyfriend that I definitely have"? I know that line, that was Uzi's voice. Which means I am most certainly at the start of the pilot. I was so happy I was cheering internally that at least I was lucky enough to be here at the start. As I was internally cheering I could hear laughter from the other side of the door till I heard the voice to reply with "seriously though" with a little more stern voice. Which means this is Khan, Uzi's father. "Okay, okay, you caught me! I need to measure... the exterior hydraulic mechanisms of Door One. Because that's... the project I'm working on for school? A big old door! Just like what my old man build! I want to join the WDF and hide behind the doors like cowards while playing cards and stuff..." Uzi says while trying to convince her father to let her out. "Well, we don't just play cards..." Khan says till he went silent. Most likely the scene where a door opens revealing the WDF playing cards asking Khan for a pack. Honestly I only know this since I watched the series, if I hadn't I wouldn't have known what was being said since the WDF aren't as close to the door like Uzi and Khan. I then heard Uzi chuckle till Khan speaks "Well... When you build doors so good, Good door, good door... There's no need to fight! Uzi, this is great news! Here! The wrench that I used to tighten bolts on my first door prototypes, and to put your mother out of her misery when the Murder Drones got to her with that nanite acid... I want you to have it!" he said to Uzi. I would feel bad for Uzi if I weren't so traumatized myself. I was creeped out when Khan hugged the door and speaks lovingly to the door since unintentionally he whispered those words into my ears. " Neat. Therapy's fun!" Uzi said sarcastically to herself.

Just then I quickly climbed up the bunker before the doors could open as I silently look down towards the door as they open I could hear them more clearly. "Guys! My daughter is into doors!" I could heat Khan yell out to the WDF as they cheered. "She's gonna be outside for a bit to examine the exterior of Door One! Your door-specific destiny awaits!" Khan continues to cheer to the WDF. "Uhh... Wow, okay! I'm just gonna leave then, cause this worked so weirdly well. Uh, go doors!" Uzi said to herself mostly as the doors closed behind her. Now finally outside I follow Uzi as she ventures out into the arctic wasteland and makes her way to the Corpse House. She comes across a downed Drone pod and forages around for the component she needs when she hears a noise behind her. A winged drone swoops in, takes the head of a drone, and crushes it. They notice Uzi hiding behind some machinery, and the two engage in a fight. Uzi braces her railgun, but the drone lands so hard it gets knocked out of her hands. Uzi jumps back and strikes a pose. "Whoa, and they said pirating all that anime was useless..." Uzi says as I can't help but roll my eyes in amusement from a distance. If I had a mouth I would be smiling too. Because while it's a bit childish to think that in such a serious moment I can't help but understand that I would have thought the same thing in her position. As I thought this the drone stabs Uzi hand, leaving a hole, and flings her to the side. Uzi quickly grabs her railgun as the drone scans around for her. "Bite me!" Uzi says as she fires her railgun at the drone as she blows his head off in a blinding green light. "Holy hell! Suck on that, Dad!" Uzi yells in excitement and satisfaction. Suddenly, the drone's head regenerates. Uzi quickly slaps them with an arm, which does nothing, then their eyes open. The drone blinks a few times as he replies " ...Did you just slap me with that arm?" he asked. "Holy crap, it talks." Uzi said surprised but still on edge. " Yeah... Sorry, it's just my, uh, head kind of hurts. Hey, are you new to our squad? You're a little, uhh... short, for a Disassembly Drone. . . I'm Serial Designation N, nice to meet you. I'm kind of the leader of the squad in this city. That's not true, everyone tells me I'm useless and terrible. Wait, I'm not supposed to tell you that part! Biscuits! Well, honesty is the best policy. I also can't seem to remember the past 3 hours of my life, but I'm sure that'll sort itself out." The now named drone, N said awkwardly but optimistically as he blinks a few times. "Uh huh... I, uh, have to, go." She says as she leaves, but forgets about the painful hole in her damaged hand as she flinches in pain. "Stuck yourself? Just pop it in your mouth. Our saliva neutralizes the nanites, otherwise I'd be constantly disassembling myself." he says as he catches his his syringe in his hand with a sheepish look before he could accidentally stuck himself again. "And by our saliva, you mean..." Uzi starts as they both say "Disassembly Drone". "Right. Hey, let's go in that landing pod over there!" Uzi says to N as N replies with "Sure! I love doing anything!" N says happily.

But Before the two could walk away that's when I decided to finally place myself into their story. "I hope you don't mind a third party joining you two"? I said as I came out of my hiding spot revealing myself to them. Uzi jumped slightly as she quickly turns around and points her railgun in the direction of my voice. While N turns around as well but isn't as on edge as Uzi. "Who are!!!" Uzi yelled in surprised as she keeps pointing her rail gun towards me. However the railgun was still in the process of recharging from firing at N previously. "Hello, are you also a new recruit to our squad?" N says happily. I then chuckle at their reactions as I said "You could say that N, and as for who I am? Well, I didn't had a proper name as I was only just activated not that long ago. But if I need a name then you can call me Metal".
