Marvel: The Tokyo Avengers

🔺 "To become a god, one must first say 'I do' to the end of everything."

❗ Previously:

Floor 3 — The Sinew Jar — saw the Tokyo Avengers face off against grotesque muscle-beasts forged from the stolen bodies of ancient warriors.

Now, they rise to Floor 4, where the Crimson Needle cult's original sin was sealed: the Ritual of Red Marriage.

[Scene 1 – Arrival at the Chapel]

The Avengers ascend the bone staircase into a cathedral-sized chapel.

Stained glass windows made from pressed blood sigils

A black velvet carpet made of threaded hair

Rows of pews filled with empty robes — like guests at a wedding who've long since decayed

At the altar: an obsidian marriage throne with two glyph-bound rings floating above it

A whisper ripples through the air — dozens of voices speaking as one.

"Bring forth the vows."

SCARLET ONNA (stiffening):

"This is... forbidden spellbinding. A ritual designed to merge a sorcerer with a cursed entity through blood and loyalty."

NEKOBURST:

"Sooo... a demon wedding. Cool."

ONMYO FLARE (reading glyphs):

"No. Worse. One side is always sacrificed."

Suddenly, the altar bleeds.

[Scene 2 – The Bride Appears]

From the throne rises a figure in a corrupted ceremonial wedding kimono, drenched in flowing red thread and black mist.

Her name: SHINKAI NO YOME (Bride of the Abyss)

Her eyes are blank. Her arms end in ceremonial blade-fans.

She was once the first vessel chosen by the Crimson Needle — centuries ago.

Now she is only the voice of the tower.

"I seek the new groom. Who among you will give themselves?"

SCARLET ONNA (realizing):

"She's trying to complete the marriage with Blood Seraphim's soul. We're just the rehearsal."

[Scene 3 – The Vow Battle Begins]

The room seals.

Red thread rains from the ceiling — wrapping around each Avenger, dragging them into separate ritual zones like phantom aisle ways.

🧧 ONMYO FLARE

Fights a phantom choir that sings his name in binding tones.

Each note locks one limb — he counters by inscribing Silent Kanji: 無 (Void) across his chest.

"Your hymns don't own me."

He lifts both blades and cuts a path through the choir, rupturing the sound magic at its core.

🐾 NEKOBURST

Is locked inside a ritual cage, facing thread-wrapped mannequins that move only when she blinks.

She keeps her eyes wide, claws out, then blinks on purpose — teleporting behind them each time they shift.

Final blink — she's above.

Heel-drops the lead mannequin straight through the floor.

NEKOBURST:

"Marriage gives me hives."

🎤 STARWAVE

Finds herself on a stage — forced to sing a vow in exchange for survival.

If her note falters, her voice begins vanishing.

She turns it into a sonic spike instead — Sonic Verse Break — and heel-kicks the blood-mic apart.

"I don't vow to anyone but myself."

She launches into her Crescendo Blitz Combo, blasting the spectral guests into ash.

🐺 KURO ŌKAMI

Is chained in front of a "mirror altar" that shows him turning into the Beast — a vision of him devouring his own team.

"If you wed your power, the world burns."

Kuro howls — then crushes the mirror altar with a claw swipe so powerful it shatters the spell zone around him.

"You think power owns me?"

He re-enters the main hall — snarling.

🔮 SCARLET ONNA vs. SHINKAI NO YOME

Back at the altar, Sayo alone faces the Bride of the Abyss.

The bride's blade-fans slice at her threads — undoing every defensive weave.

Sayo is pushed to the edge of her skill.

"You carry the blood. You will finish what your ancestors began."

Sayo lets go of fear.

She weaves the Unwritten Thread — a spell her mother once whispered about.

It has no fixed form. It is made from choice.

She flings the ribbon of pure magic straight into the bride's veil.

"I choose to unbind this curse. I choose freedom."

The bride lets out one final scream — then disappears into red smoke.

[Scene 4 – Wedding Over. War Begins.]

The chapel crumbles. The robes in the pews vanish.

The rings float upward… and burst.

A glyph glows at the exit:

STARWAVE:

"So we've been invited to the real wedding?"

SCARLET ONNA (coldly):

"No. We're crashing it."
