Chapter 67: Chapter 66.
Chapter 66: Felix intervenes.
Finally, after the revenge that Thor had just hinted at, Hulk couldn't help but roar loudly!
Besides smashing things, Hulk liked to roar upward because it felt like it helped vent his anger—and it also intimidated his opponents!
After flying a few hundred meters, Thor finally landed on the ground. However, his body was still carrying a huge impact, and he slowly came to a stop after rolling several times on the ground.
"You succeeded in making me angry!"
Thor got up from the ground, a bit embarrassed but with his eyes fixed on the Hulk who had just attacked him.
Thor, who was usually calm and composed, had never been so flustered before.
And now here was this huge monster, daring to bully him like this. Although he hadn't suffered serious injury, Thor could not tolerate it.
"I'll make you taste the consequences of angering me!"
Although Thor's anger couldn't boost his strength like Hulk's, it made him take his opponent more seriously. And now, Thor was ready to use his full power.
Even though Thor wasn't using weapons and his strength had dropped a lot, he was still not someone to be underestimated.
But just as Thor prepared to unleash his full power, he closed his eyes and everyone wondered what he was doing.
For a moment, the scene fell silent, and the air suddenly felt heavy and oppressive.
Above Thor's head, dark clouds slowly gathered, giving the impression that a storm was about to crush the entire city.
"Hey? What's Thor doing? Did that monster punch him silly? Why isn't he moving?"
Tony, sitting comfortably in a custom chair with his legs crossed, watching the fight like a movie and clutching a popcorn bucket, couldn't help but ask in confusion as he saw Thor standing still.
"It looks like Thor is also getting serious now. Don't you feel it? The atmosphere is different from before!"
Similarly, Felix sat relaxed in his chair, watching the battle below with calm. He was at ease because he knew both fighters very well.
Their strengths were comparable, and it was nearly impossible for either to cause fatal harm to the other. So Felix wasn't worried about either of them being in real danger. After all, Thor and Hulk were well-known heavy hitters in the Marvel universe, both nearly immortal in physique and spirit.
"Felix, who do you think will win?" Captain America team asked curiously. Tony and Annie listened to the question, both intrigued to hear Felix's answer.
"This is a tough question. If Thor had a weapon right now, even Hulk might not be able to last long against him. But since he's not using weapons and is only fighting Hulk with his body, it's a bit hard to predict."
"However, although the outcome is uncertain, neither side should suffer serious injury, so there's no need to worry. If things get out of hand, I'll step in and separate them!"
Felix was honest—he didn't know who would win. He didn't have the kind of foresight the protagonists in stories usually do. He could only watch and see who came out on top.
"Alright! Then let's keep watching…"
While Felix spoke, Thor still had his eyes closed, slowly gathering his energy. By now, the sky above was covered in black clouds, as if ready to swallow the whole world.
Thor's energy surged, electric sparks flashing continuously, while a gentle breeze began blowing around him, gradually growing stronger until the entire Colosseum was engulfed in roaring winds!
The atmosphere became extremely heavy and solemn, like the stillness before a thunderstorm.
As Thor kept condensing his power, Hulk, who was roaring in the sky, also suddenly sensed something was wrong—the sky had grown dark unexpectedly.
The bright sunlight had been covered by thick clouds without him noticing.
Almost instinctively, Hulk spotted the cause, Thor, who had just been blasted away by Hulk himself.
At that moment, Thor was calmly standing there facing Hulk like nothing was wrong, even with his eyes closed.
"Is he challenging me?"
Hulk's not-so-bright mind couldn't help but think this.
That only made Hulk angrier. Fueled by rage, he charged straight at Thor.
As before, after running a few steps, Hulk suddenly kicked the ground with his right foot, launching his body like a projectile.
At that moment, Thor opened his tightly closed eyes and seemed to shoot two tiny electric sparks from them—but they disappeared in an instant.
But the pupils in Thor's eyes turned silver—an unnatural color no human eyes could have.
Thor raised his right hand high and pointed straight at the sky. Under his command, like soldiers obeying their king, the clouds began to churn and roll violently, as if something powerful was brewing within them.
Boom! Crack!
The tumbling dark clouds exploded with a deafening roar, unleashing a giant lightning bolt. A silver lightning pierced the sky, striking directly at Thor.
Bathed in the lightning, Thor looked like a true god descending from the heavens, constantly absorbing the fierce energy carried by the storm.
Hulk on the other hand never bothered with fancy moves. All he knew was to smash everything in front of him. That was his style and his strength!
Smash through everything! Hulk was a brute force monster, ignoring all tricks and finesse!
So, without hesitation, Hulk punched Thor again with full force, aiming to crush the man before him into a pulp. If one punch wasn't enough, he'd throw two.
As Hulk approached, the lightning surrounding Thor vanished—but it was absorbed into Thor's body.
At this moment, Thor's body was charged with violent energy, and he looked at the approaching Hulk with a confident smile.
"I am Thor Odinson, God of Thunder and I shall not be defeated!"
Of course, such a passionate moment called for a loud battle cry to boost morale.
Thor shouted loudly, then clenched his right fist, channeling the fierce lightning energy he had just absorbed and concentrating it in his fist! He waved it fiercely toward the charging Hulk!
A dazzling silver glow radiated from his fist, formed from condensed lightning!
"Hulk… Smash!"
For the first time, Hulk was unwilling to show weakness and shouted back a more complete sentence.
He clenched his fists with full effort, charging toward Thor to meet his strike head-on!
Boom!!!
Their fists collided!
The opposing forces clashed with tremendous power, instantly unleashing a massive shockwave.
Centered on their collision, the slate-like ground shook violently, rolling and overturning like a landslide or a dragon thrashing about!
The ground beneath their feet cracked open like a dry riverbed.
Silver lightning snaked wildly around them, carving a ten-meter crack in the earth.
Thor and Hulk were both shocked by the powerful recoil, stepping back several paces before regaining their balance.
It was clearly an evenly matched clash!
"Alright, let's finish this battle!"
Just as Thor and Hulk prepared to fight again, a figure suddenly flashed between them, and a voice echoed in their ears!
