Chapter 66: Chapter 65.
Chapter 65: It's about to go down.
"It's much more comfortable watching them fight like this!" Tony said, lounging in a chair conjured by Felix. Waving lazily as he watched Thor and Hulk facing off in the newly built colosseum, he added, "Felix, with such an incredible ability, why didn't you use it earlier? I wouldn't have ended up covered in dust!"
Tony couldn't help thinking that if Felix had used the Mirror Dimension magic sooner, he wouldn't have taken that hit from the shockwave.
In the arena, Hulk and Thor stood still for a moment, staring each other down. Their previous contest of strength had been abruptly interrupted by Felix's intervention, leaving them confused but unshaken.
Although the environment had changed dramatically, they didn't dwell on it. The new surroundings were clearly better suited for their battle—spacious, durable, and iThorated. So, they chose to embrace the opportunity.
From their brief clash, both now had a rough sense of each other's capabilities. Thor realized that relying Thorely on brute strength would not be enough to overpower the green monster before him.
Unless he wielded Mjolnir or Stormbreaker, victory would be tough.
What Thor didn't know, however, was that Hulk's strength grew proportionally with his rage. The angrier he is, the stronger he will be. And one thing that Felix knew for sure was that Hulk anger has no limit.
Still, Thor quickly dismissed the idea of using weapons. He wanted to beat Hulk with his own two hands.
"Come on, big guy! Round two!" Thor shouted confidently. Then, like a charging cheetah, he sprinted forward, lightning trailing behind him like a glowing silver tail. As always, Thor in battle looked epic—worthy of his title as the God of Thunder.
Roar!!
The Hulk wasn't one to back down. He let out a furious roar and charged at Thor without hesitation.
Still a relatively new incarnation of the Hulk, his consciousness was simple and fearless, like a newborn creature. Even facing Thor's electrified figure, glowing with divine might, Hulk showed no fear—only primal rage.
Though he couldn't yet speak fluently, he understood provocation when he heard it. Thor's taunt only fueled his fury further.
Hulk thundered forward, each of his enormous steps shaking the ground, producing booming echoes with every stride. The entire battlefield trembled under his charge.
Like ancient gladiators charging into a duel, they closed the distance at astonishing speed. What started as two or three hundred meters shrank in mere two seconds.
As they came within striking range—just a few dozen meters apart—they both dug their feet into the stone floor, cracking it beneath them from the force of their takeoff.
With a mighty leap, both launched themselves into the air.
Hulk swung his massive fist—larger than a sandbag—directly at Thor's face with all his strength.
But Thor didn't halt his upward momentum.
Whether it was intentional or a result of sheer momentum, Thor soared past Hulk by nearly a body length. Just as Hulk's fist missed its mark, Thor used the opportunity to plant his foot squarely on Hulk's outstretched arm.
In one fluid motion, he vaulted over Hulk's head.
With no footing in mid-air, Hulk couldn't adjust his position. He watched helplessly as Thor evaded his blow.
Then came the real hit.
From above, Thor brought his foot crashing down onto Hulk's back with the force of a speeding train. The impact sent Hulk hurtling toward the ground like a falling meteor.
BOOM!!
He struck the earth like a bomb, the resulting shockwave cracking the arena floor and forming a crater nearly ten meters deep. Hulk landed flat on his stomach, resembling a squashed frog, tiny arcs of silver lightning flickering across his body.
Meanwhile, Thor, after delivering the crushing kick, ascended slightly before flipping mid-air.
He landed with dramatic flair—one knee down, a fist to the ground—sending spiderweb cracks through the stone floor beneath him. A perfect superhero landing.
The impact was nothing to Thor. He stood up casually, gave a charming smirk to the audience, and waved like a performer basking in applause.
He had just poured his divine power into his right foot and gave Hulk a hard look. He was confident that even if Hulk hadn't lost his fighting strength at that moment, the strongest warrior would still have to lie down for a long time before getting up.
So, the Thoritary and determined Thor decided to take the risk!
If there had been spectators in the stands around that time, they would no doubt be shouting and cheering for the battle that had just taken place! The applause would be endless!
Unfortunately, there weren't many viewers here, so the atmosphere was bleak and silent. Moreover, Thor seemed a bit too excited fighting someone who can finally match his strength and without holding anything back!
"Thor, watch out behind you!"
Captain couldn't help but shout loudly to warn him!
It turned out that while Thor landed on the ground, Hulk behind him had already gotten back up. Thor's attack had only covered Hulk in dust, it seemed he hadn't caused any real injury!
And now, there was a wild fury in Hulk's eyes.
Hulk was furious, well he already was but now even more!
Under normal circumstances, Hulk was not terrifying—but when angry, Hulk was truly fearsome.
Because anger was the source of Hulk's power. At this moment, Hulk was probably angrier than he had ever been in his entire life! Even when hunted by the military, he had never been this enraged!
Hulk, having stood up again, jumped out of the pit he had smashed himself into, and charged relentlessly toward Thor, who was turning away.
Just a few steps into his sprint, it was clear Hulk's speed had increased noticeably.
He ran a distance, then suddenly kicked the ground with his right foot. The ground broke apart beneath him, gravel spraying backward.
This move sent Hulk soaring through the air in a perfect arc, flying toward Thor at incredible speed—like a shell fired from a cannon.
Fueled by extreme anger and his immense strength, Hulk was somewhat frustrated with his sprint speed. After that powerful kick, he almost seemed to defy gravity itself, rushing toward Thor as if flying!
At this moment, Thor, whispering quietly, could feel the danger coming from behind—even without the Captain's warning. After all, Thor was a seasoned fighter, with plenty of combat awareness. His only weakness was a slight lack of IQ!
So, without looking back, Thor controlled his body to dodge to the side, trying to avoid Hulk's attack.
But Thor's reaction was just a moment too late.
Just as he tried to move, Hulk's massive body appeared behind him, delivering a fierce hammer-like punch.
The punch was fast and merciless, hitting Thor directly.
Thor flew backward like a sandbag being hit, soaring hundreds of meters through the air. His speed barely slowed, showing just how devastating Hulk's punch truly was!
