Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 273: Marvel 273

Bibi Dong's eyes flickered with dangerous excitement as she stepped forward, her expression no longer playful — but sharp, regal, and laced with the pride of a Titled Douluo who stood at the peak of the Spirit Master world.

"I've heard rumors… but to see it with my own eyes," she said slowly, her voice low with anticipation as her own Martial Spirit erupted behind her.

From the depths of her being, two enormous phantom spiders unfurled, their ghostly legs extending across the space like barbed shadows. The Death Spider Emperor — her infamous Martial Spirit, infused with venom, death, and fear itself — loomed high, casting a suffocating aura over the hall.

The sheer poisonous energy radiating from it could melt steel, and her Spirit Power, hovering at Rank 98, surged around her like a crushing tide.

Her True level is 99 but now she is only showing the level 98 probably hiding her true strength.

"You intrigue me more and more, Mo Tian," she declared, eyes glowing. "Let's see what the so-called Monarch of the Night Dragons can do."

Max's smirk never faltered. The room dimmed as he stepped forward, his Triple-Crowned Dragon coiling into view behind him, the space warping with its presence. The crowns above its three heads pulsed:

Crown of Time, bending the air around them like fractured glass.

Crown of Death, leaking a silent, inevitable stillness.

Crown of Space, making the distance between them ripple and distort unnaturally.

"A fight then," Max said, folding his arms casually. "But… let's make it interesting."

Bibi Dong raised an eyebrow, clearly listening.

"If I win, I'll tell you what I want as my condition later," Max continued, the confidence dripping from his tone. "But if you win, I'll be your follower, as you suggested."

The hall went dead silent for a moment, even Hu Liena's eyes widening faintly at the bold declaration.

Bibi Dong's lips curved in a slow, delighted grin. "I like those odds. I accept."

Of course, Max knew the truth. Even Titled Douluo — even Ultimate Douluo like her — couldn't truly measure up to his hidden power. Right now his cultivation maybe only Spirit Emperor level, but he himself have an Universal Level soul, with it not only an ultimate Douluo Like her her but even those so called godkings he can kill them all easily.

But he had no plans to reveal that now.

He would fight with restraint. Only his Monarch of the Night Dragons' normal might, the way a 'spirit emperor' should. Enough to prove his point… without shaking the heavens.

Bibi Dong's spirit rings lit up — nine shining rings of purple, black, and red, the mark of her terrifying strength.

Max's own spirit rings flickered into place — one purple, three black, and one ominous blood-red ring, pulsing like a heartbeat from another world.

"Let's begin," Bibi Dong said, her killing intent finally unleashed as poisonous shadows coiled around her.

Max tilted his head, his eyes glowing faintly with cosmic light.

"Let's."

The moment the words left their lips, both figures vanished from the Pope Hall, reappearing in a vast, reinforced combat arena behind Spirit Hall's main temple—a place designed specifically for high-level Spirit Master duels.

The ground cracked beneath their feet as their auras collided like tidal waves. The clouds above darkened unnaturally, space itself trembling faintly from the opposing forces.

BOOM!

Bibi Dong wasted no time. Poisonous green and black light erupted around her, the image of her Death Spider Emperor growing to titanic size behind her. Phantom spider legs burst from the ground, stabbing toward Max with venomous precision, the air hissing from their deadly edges.

Max didn't even flinch.

The three-headed Monarch of the Night Dragons coiled around him protectively. The Crown of Space flickered, and instantly, the stabbing spider legs warped in midair—vanishing before they could ever touch him.

"Space Distortion," Max said flatly, stepping forward as if nothing had happened.

Bibi Dong's eyes narrowed, but she smiled, amused at his calm.

"Let's see how long that little trick holds."

With a wave of her hand, the entire battlefield became a death zone. Poison fog swept out like a storm, corrosive energy flooding the arena. Even the stone beneath them hissed as it eroded away.

Max's expression remained neutral. His Crown of Time pulsed once, the fog around him slowing… then reversing, swirling back toward Bibi Dong.

Before she could react, Max's figure blurred forward.

"Second Skill—Void Fang."

The middle dragon head lunged, its spectral jaws biting into thin air—but space itself shattered, the attack bypassing all conventional defenses as if reality was paper.

Bibi Dong's body flickered, barely avoiding the devastating strike, but a shallow cut still appeared along her shoulder, black energy lingering along the wound.

Her eyes gleamed now, truly excited.

"Good… Very good," she laughed softly, the pain seemingly fueling her fighting spirit.

In response, all nine of her spirit rings lit up simultaneously. From the shadows, thousands of spectral spiders burst forth, covering the sky, each dripping with potent venom and shadowy qi.

Max lifted his hand calmly, his Crown of Death flaring with cold, extinguishing light.

"Third Skill—Grave Silence."

The world dimmed. The sound vanished entirely. The army of spiders froze midair, their life force snuffed out in an instant, dropping like rain upon the battlefield.

Even Bibi Dong paused, unnerved for the first time.

Max's voice broke the silence like a blade.

"I said it before… what you should fear isn't my title… but the consequences of ignoring respect."

Unlike most Spirit Masters, Max's Spirit Ring skills weren't ordinary. They were rewards from his Ultimate Academy questline, a unique system that evolved all his Spirit Rings into advanced, perfectly compatible versions. Each skill wasn't just more refined—it was fundamentally stronger than what should be possible for his current rank.

Even so, he wasn't naïve. He knew that on paper, he still couldn't match Bibi Dong's raw power as a Titled Douluo—her cultivation, experience, and overwhelming presence made that clear.

But Max wasn't fighting on paper.

He skillfully wove his Soul Power into his attacks, layering it between techniques, amplifying his strikes to reach her level—at least temporarily. His timing, his control, his ruthless precision—those were his real weapons.
