Chapter 54: Chapter 54: Goodbye Spider-Man (Edited)

"AHHHH!!!" Venom Kingpin roared, his scream echoing like thunder as he charged at Arthur at absurd speed, each step a quake, each movement a lethal threat. In the blink of an eye, the monster was already upon him, throwing a punch with catastrophic force.

BANG!!

Arthur crossed his arms at the last second, but the impact created a shockwave so devastating it shattered every window within hundreds of meters. The ground beneath him gave way, cracking and collapsing as if crushed by a living avalanche. He felt the shock reverberate down to his spine. His muscles trembled.

(His power… it's increasing?)

(Wait! His appearance just now looked so much like the Lizard and Green Goblin, but where is all this strength coming from!? Those two aren't this powerful in any universe I know.)

Kingpin roared, and with the symbiote pulsing in sync with his deformed muscles, he charged again — now faster. More brutal.

Arthur leaped back, but he was already being pursued. The second punch came from below, hitting Arthur in the waist.

BOOM!!

The impact was so intense it launched him through the air like a human missile, crashing through walls until he slammed into the reinforced concrete of the surrounding structure. The wall gave in, he left a crater with his body.

"This is the first time I've felt pain in a long while…" Arthur muttered, getting up with blood dripping from his mouth and a fierce glint in his eyes.

(That green miasma around him…) Arthur narrowed his eyes as he noticed a green aura covering Kingpin's body.

(It can only be from that guy… But how did the Kingpin of this universe get his hands on it… Oh shit! The collider!!) Arthur's eyes widened as he realized more things had come into this world because of the collider.

(But how did they manage to make a serum from that guy's genes!?)

(First Venom, now Hulk? What else came through that collider!? Galactus!?) Arthur complained.

He took a deep breath.

"Fuuuu~" Arthur used Awakening Breathing, a breathing technique that allows the user to remove all subconscious restrictions and forcibly ignore survival instincts.

"Forget it, now's not the time to think..."

Arthur stared coldly at the creature in front of him — and advanced.

"Fang Interpolation."

In an instant, he was in front of the monster. A flurry of precise strikes landed on Kingpin's vital points, but the symbiote absorbed part of the impact. Arthur spun and delivered a kick directly to Venom Kingpin's jaw, sending him flying like a twisted projectile.

But Kingpin rolled midair, dug his claws into the ground, and used the momentum to launch himself back. Arthur barely had time to react.

KRAK!!!

A punch collided with his face, followed by three more, five more, ten! Kingpin wasn't just stronger anymore... he was getting faster by the second. Arthur retreated with difficulty, dodging and deflecting with Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, but even with his legendary skill, he was being overwhelmed.

Each blow from Kingpin now vibrated like a quake. Shockwaves tore through the air, cracked the ground, and destroyed structures. Miles barely managed to evacuate people from the area before everything collapsed.

(If this keeps going... Brooklyn will be dust.)

Arthur then… stopped resisting as he thought of a technique that would be highly effective in this situation.

Kingpin grabbed his neck.

"You disappoint me. Why aren't you resisting anymore?" — his grotesque voice echoed as the Venom face briefly revealed his real appearance underneath before being swallowed again by the symbiote.

Arthur smirked.

CRACK!

A clean kick to Kingpin's chin made him release Arthur's neck and stagger backward.

Arthur wiped the blood from his face, took a deep breath... and then went still.

He stood motionless, arms loose, eyes focused.

He wanted to be hit.

Kingpin charged and unleashed strike after strike — a torrent of pure destruction. Arthur absorbed each one. His body creaked, bones trembled, but his feet didn't move an inch.

And then...

"Reversal."

Originally a secret technique of the Flowing Water style, this attack is extremely powerful and dangerous — both to the opponent and the user. During combat, the user is struck by a series of attacks while subtly shifting their posture to distribute the impact across the body and reduce damage.

Once enough damage has been absorbed, they bring their hands together in a cupped form, extending them forward to release the accumulated force as a shockwave.

Since it's a close-range move, it can only be used point-blank, and it's powerful enough to send the damage through the target's body, causing internal injuries and intense pain — and blasting the opponent away.

BOOOOOOOM!!!

A massive shockwave exploded from the point of contact. Kingpin was thrown back, his internal bones vibrating like cracked bells. He screamed in pain — pain the symbiote couldn't fully absorb.

"God Killer Swift Strike."

Arthur dashed forward like lightning and unleashed a storm of punches, elbows, palm strikes, and kicks with absurd precision — each blow vibrating like a blade of wind.

"And to finish..." — he muttered in a low voice, the air around him trembling.

"Whirlwind Water Stream: Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist."

A spiral of energy swirled around Arthur as he leapt. His fists spun at high speed, forming the outline of a dragon within the compressed air stream.

The final blow was devastating.

SHAOOOM!!!

The explosion of energy completely obliterated the top of Kingpin's building — and several others nearby. The symbiote disintegrated first, evaporating in an agonized scream. Then, the mutated, monstrous body of Kingpin crumbled, turning to dust within seconds as it was carried away by the wind of the shockwave.

"All civilians have been evacuated—!!" A police officer outside the building was reporting through his walkie-talkie. The next second, he felt the ground tremble and heard a loud boom.

He turned around and saw part of Kingpin's building being destroyed by the shockwave from Arthur's final attack.

"God… is this really something a human can do?" Miles protected his father and Harry as he looked at the destruction caused by Arthur's attack — speechless.

Seeing that his task was done, Arthur sighed and returned to normal.

His mask and most of his clothes were destroyed.

"I'll leave the rest to you." Since Miles's father was there, Arthur didn't plan to say his name.

"Goodbye, Spider-Man." He spoke with a smile as he used the space stone the system had given him to return home.
